We love a good dive bar and this one fits the bill for sure. Low light, locals around the bar and greasy food menu. The place does not look like a place you'd want to risk eating at, but hey we are adventurous so....! We ordered a Nutty Burger and fries to share. We weren't sure what to expect. The pace does not give off a vibe of a sanitized space by any means. It smelled a little strange and the bathrooms smelled even stronger. The bar tender was very friendly and we felt welcome. When the food came out- wow- totally shocked as to how good this burger was. It looks hand patties, cooked to order and tastes delicious. My friend wanted to meet here because she said it felt like Cheers. So I decided to check it out with her and another friend of ours. The waitress walked up and was wearing a very low cut jumpsuit and had her arms crossed over her chest the whole time. It felt very awkward and she seemed uncomfortable. Meanwhile the female bartender was dropping the F bomb with some male customer and raising her voice at him. A different customer was over served and came stumbling by on his way to the restroom and started talking to me. I tried to be polite while not engaging him. Then when I tasted my water, it tasted like old pipes. All of the food was subpar including the flatbread which was advertised as having chives and cheese but only had cheese. The loaded fries were all soggy, even on the edges. The food was pretty disappointing overall. The servers we had (two different ones) were polite. I would not return for the food or atmosphere. It might be a fine place to go have some beers and watch the game for some people, but we were there to discuss event planning and eat. read more

This hole in the wall bar and grill is like something out of a movie. The walls are wooden and filled with random wall hangings, the floors and tables are all wooden and the diners are a mix of mid age locals. The one thing about this bar that's different are the TVs. There must of been around 20-25 TVs on every wall! Don't let that deter you from coming however, because the food and service were excellent. We came for Sunday morning brunch on a recommendation from a coworker. One of their brunch 'specials' per say is a 16.99 all you can drink breakfast drinks (mimosas, poinsettias Hawaiians, and Bloody Mary's) and an entrée from the special menu. Being the drinker I am, I did that and was handed a huge wine glass of champagne and OJ. Now for the food. I got 3 waffles with a choice of bacon and decided to get cheese grits on the side. I wasn't disappointed. The waffles were a lil darker than I would like but we're so big I couldn't finish them all and the bacon was CRISPY. The grits were okay. Definitely not the best I've had but not bad. I will most definitely be coming back to try more things off the menu. read more

This is an established place that has been around for over 30+ years. It has that local Dive flavor, with a lot of character. You can tell from its clientele it has been a favorite to many, for many years. Just go there on a football Saturday and you will see. It is a sports bar, with ample big screen TV's to ensure you won't miss a game, or play. The staff is very friendly and well trained. On my last visit I overheard the kitchen staff say that he had been there for over 20 years, which tells me that the management takes care of their employees. The food is very good, and plentiful. If you leave hungry, that's your fault. They run daily specials, which are very appetizing. Their Reuben is excellent. The Loaded Nacho are monstrous, with meat covering every chip. The Kim's 5 C wrap is amazing. Now my wife and I's favorite. The menu is huge, with many choices for your appetite. This place has charisma, with a down home local feel. First time coming here, we found a new gem! Overall, very homey/cozy vibe and food was good! They are super fairly priced and especially perfect for NFL Sunday. The burgers are great as well as the cheese curds. The curds did come out after our burgers, but our server was clearly working hard and fast to take care of everyone. My mother and I went here today, under the referral of a co-worker. OH MY GOD. This place is beyond description, unless I can just bad words. We walked in, and stood there for several minutes before we had to ASK if we had to seat ourselves or if we have to wait to be seated. The bartender told us to seat ourselves. We did. We then waited approximately 8 minutes and then my mother had to go find the waitress to take our order. There were two men at the bar who were watching a video on their phone with Stewie dropping the "F" bomb and discussing sex, quite loudly. He watched the WHOLE DAMN Video! (It was about a 5 - 7 minute video to my estimation) Now, i'm not a prude, but my Momma was with me and it was so not cool. This was a lunch thing. Not dinner or late evening. LUNCH! and Yeah, I know its a bar, but it is also supposed to be a "GRILLE". Nope. Absolutely not. They can try to fancy that $hit up all they want, but it should be called Bar and Microwave dive. Ugh. Now on to the food. I ordered the New Potatoes #2. My Momma ordered a salad. One of the new potatoes that came with my order was actually ROTTEN. They served that $h*t on my plate. it was ROTTEN! My mother's salad had some okay lettuce, but many of the pieces had brown edges and oh, I just don't have the words to tell you how terrible this food was. The way this establishment tried us today... Whew! NEVER AGAIN! We wanted somewhere new to watch the FSU-Michigan game because we always do Prime Time or Hobbit. BIG mistake. NEVER again. Two of us got there and the waitress asks for our drink order. She only put down two menus so I told her it was four of us. She says, oh well I'll come back. I told her "Well we'd still like drinks..." She said, Oh. We were told to sit anywhere. This old man comes and sits down. I tell him we have others joining our party.... He said "So I can't sit in MY seat? The seat I'm supposed to sit in?" We're incredulous until another regular tells us we were ok to sit there... This should've told us to leave immediately. Our waitress had only been there three days, but for real y'all, there was NO EXCUSE for this amount of ineptitude!!!! One ordered sweet Thai chili wings and another ordered garlic parmesan wings.... I rather eat dirt then eat here. the wings were flavorless, it was so much oil at the bottom. the fries were flavorless as well, they messed up our order twice and did not even give us the vegetables that came with it. the server did not come to check on us we had to waive her down multiple times. This is my go-to place whenever there's an early morning sports event (ie: European soccer match) that I want to watch while having a kickass breakfast. This no-frills sports bar has several television sets granting patrons visual access from just about anywhere inside. You can't go wrong coming here to watch any sports event b e it during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as their menu is substantial and the food is good. 4 stars to me is low for this place. 4 stars is above average but 4th Quarter is more than just "above average".......unless you're an uppity, snooty, nose-in-the-air type that doesn't appreciate your local hole in the wall bar. 4th Quarter has been treating me right for years. I come here to watch sports and drink beer but the food also gratifies. Superb prices and big servings. The staff also makes ya feel like you're at home. There was even a time when I checked my account a few days after I visited and found out that they overcharged me. I brought the receipt back, the owner saw his copy of the receipt, identified the error and gave me my money back without ANY problems or hesitation. I'm from Chicago and, unfortunately, a Cubs fan. When I got to hotel I searced for sports bars in the area. I went to 4th Quarter based upon the yelp reviews and a recommendation from the hotel. First of all, the people that wrote those negative reviews about the food being no good, don't know what they are talking about. I had an AMAZING fresh Cobb Salad with lots of goodies in it and plenty of Rasberry Vinigrette to put on it. Then I went for the Black & Blue Burger. I travel all over the country and the world. This was seriously one of the best burgers I've had. The onion rings I had with it were also great - REAL SLICED onions, not those onion rings formed by onion pieces. As for the TV's. I noticed all of them were Samsung, which happens to be the most highly rated flat screens on the market. Great pictures on every one of them. And, yes they were "mis-matched". THAT'S THE POINT OF A SPORTS BAR!!! NOT EVERYONE IN THE PLACE WANTS TO SEE THE SAME THING!!! Apparently the reviewer that made this comment has never been to a sports bar. Anyway, they had hockey, basketball, and baseball on - including my Cubs. It being Wednesday, the beer special was $2.50 for Coronas and Dos XX. You can't beat those prices and the bartender made sure that you weren't sitting there without your drink of choice for very long. In summary - great food, great drink prices, great TV's, and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend 4th Quarter for out-of-towners looking for a place to watch their teams. read more

If you're looking for a place for good drinks and some privacy, this is the place. It's not trying to be something it's not. The regulars come here for that reason. The menu is extensive and just about everything on the menu is tasteful. The servers are pleasant and the drinks are strong. The first night I came here and met the owner, who paid for my first drink, and got a great vibe. I come here every time I drive through Tallahassee or come here on biz. Everyone here, patrons included are super nice people. You can tell they have a well established bunch of regulars. The owner Richard, who I haven't seen for the second visit this year, remembers names and is always happy you are here. I have never been here too late but I can't imagine things get rough. OK for kids, a lot of seating away from bar. Great food. I live in Melbourne about five and a half hours away and have been stopping here for ten years about 6-7 times a year. Check it out. Need more parking lot light, my first time was at night and I almost left, very glad I didn't. read more

This place reminds me of Cheers, the TV show, but with food. It seemed that every one knew each other. Which is nice, if you are a regular. The person I went to dinner with ordered the wings, which were huge. He said they were very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with brown gravy. The salad was good, large and fresh. However, the rest was somewh at lacking. The steak, gravy and potatoes were too salty. The potatoes were instant, and the steamed broccoli was lukewarm. The butter would not melt on the broccoli. I ordered water with no ice and got exactly that, water with no ice. It was good. I may come back to try the wings, but not the chicken fried steak, potatoes, gravy or steamed broccoli.
