I've been here a few times now and always love their Caesar salad and wings. The service is friendly and fast. Restrooms and restaurant always seem clean. However, on a recent trip I discovered something a bit disturbing and honestly confusing. I was with a group of colleagues, and three of us have Alpha Gal (red meat allergy caused by the lone star tick). Thankfully I desensitized myself enough that I can eat SOME red meat. The other two are highly sensitive. I ordered the wings again and passed them around to share. One of my AG friends ate one and the other asked the waitress if there is cross contamination. We were informed that the wings are fried in BEEF tallow. I panicked because the one friend is so sensitive that she can't even go to a petting zoo with hoofed mammals without reacting. So lucky that she had taken an Allegra that day which helps with the allergy enough that one wing fried with beef fat won't cause anaphylaxis. However, if the other girl had eaten it, she very likely could have had a terrible reaction. It does not state on the menu that the wings are fried in beef tallow. It's very important that allergens such as this are noted. I would never have thought myself that it was fried in beef fat. I would've thought it was vegetable or peanut oil. I would hope that this restaurant will add red meat allergens to their menu as Alpha Gal is becoming more and more common. Better yet, don't use beef products to cook chicken products. read more

So, I ordered on the app, and set the future pick-up time for 3:15 pm. However, when I received confirmation, it had immediate ready in 1/2 hour. I called the restaurant and was immediately placed on hold for over 10 minutes. When I explained the situation to the server, they put me on hold again to find the manager, who 5 additional minutes later answered and asked what they could help me with. I again explained the issue. I was then told that it didn't matter, the order was already started and since it's paid, there's nothing they can do. No refund, no remaking or anything, only telling me to order later next time, but they will keep my food hot until 3:15-3:30 when my son can pick it up. I let her know if I hadn't immediately been placed on hold when I called, this could have been rectified pretty easily. No help. The food had not be dry, overcooked, or un-edible or I will be going to corporate. This will be the last time this large family orders from here. By the way my son picks up our orders on his way home from work, since we live another 45 minutes outside of town. So my food will be over 2 hours old by the time I receive it. This is another tough one for me. I was looking for a sports bar so I could watch my team play while grabbing a bite to eat. Reviews seemed generally good. The atmosphere was nice and my server was on her game. Lots of monitors around with various games on too. Big parking lot so no problems there. I also noticed that there was an outside dining patio area too...but not being used on the night I stopped in. I ordered up their Rancho Chicken Wrap ($14) and just a couple of draft beers (pint). The chicken wrap was small for a wrap...about half the size of average wraps I've ordered across the country. The beer was OK too...no complaints there either. But here is where it goes sharply in the wrong direction for me. i definitely had to do a double take when i got my check...nearly $37 before tip! Huh? The prices here for draft beer is by far the highest prices I've ever experience in my travels across the country...not by just a few cents, but dollars more. If I had to put an estimate on how much higher their prices than average, I'd estimate 30-35% higher. I generally liked everything about this place except the prices. For what you pay, you can go to a much classier place to eat/drink and still not pay as much. I still tipped my server according to what I was charged. So good for her. Beer and wine at most bars 10-25% mark up. My guess is that it's way more than that here. Needless to say, I definitely won't come back here again. After 5 minutes an employee walked up & said she had been in the restroom and someone should have covered for her. She sat us at a table. So we're here in Tallahassee celebrating my stepson's graduation from FAMU . So we had a party of seven and they accommodated us pretty well. We had to wait about 10 minutes. Our server name was Britney. She was extra cool very attentive so that was a plus that was pretty chill. They had TVs everywhere was made the environment doable. Probably will be a good place to watch Sunday football or even some Saturday afternoon college games. The food was decent not bad. Their drinks were bomb, though. Decided to go out and watch the FSU/LSU game so me and my bf wanted to find a new sports bar. We landed on Glory Days and after some adjustments this ended being a pretty great meal. We sat outside which was very comfortable and spacious. They have huge TVs everywhere and multiple fans to keep the bugs away. I ordered the Burger Blue which came with blue cheese, caramelized onions and balsamic vinaigrette. My bf order 12 wings with a tangy buffalo and garlic aoli sauce. He also ordered a few angry orchards and I tried the Lynchburg lemonade which was soooooooo good so I ordered two. Our first round of food was not up to par. I ordered a medium burger which came out well done and the patty to bun ratio was very disappointing. My bfs wings only tasted like garlic aoli and they looked a little pink on the inside. Our waitress Julia was super understanding and explained that their wings are smoked first before fire grilled which is why they looked pinkish. She still got him a new order which was grilled just a tad longer and they were much better than the first order but still no buffalo taste. My burger was replaced and cooked to perfection. The patty was also a bit thicker and filling. I will say that they have the best fries! And I got a fresh batch the second time around which I wasn't expecting since I ate all of my fries on the first order. The manager who's name I am blanking on was the one who brought our new orders out and he was awesome! They quickly redeemed themselves and we will be returning. Getting the $5 Margaritas!!! Decided to stop and have some nachos here and walked in on their summer special of 24 oz. $5 margaritas!! Let me tell you I still assumed it would be a small glass for happy hour. Nope!! It truly is a 24oz. luscious original margarita! You can get flavors for $1 more but I stuck with the true $5 margaritas. I was very happy with the drinks. Our server was very responsive to our needs when needing more chips or our next Drink. Our server also made sure we had water with our drinks to keep us hydrated. Lol! There are several TVs around the inside of the bar that you have a wide variety of watching options. We visited Glory Days on a Thursday for lunch! The food was ok. I had the rib and chicken special. I thought it was bland at best? Our server was ok but it did take a while for warm bland food. She didn't bother removing dishes the whole meal but made sure I got the bill .The restaurant was somewhat in disarray. So well-seasoned that I felt it was the star of the meal Salad: While it included iceberg (and I'm a fan of romaine) the salad included tomatoes, cubes, cheese with sides of dressing. I did curbside and when you drive in (if you wear glasses, you'll see RESERVED but you won't see "to-go" on the sign because it's so small and blending in with the restaurant name on the sign. I am not sure how I have managed to miss reviewing Glory Days, as it is my favorite new restaurant in Tallahassee. Prior to the official YELP event I attended where I got to taste an array of their food and drink offerings, I visited Glory Days with friends on a game day. Many customers come to Glory Days (pre-COVID) to enjoy their many screens and table-side speaker that delights the most avid sports fan. With regard to the speakers, the quality is not the best, so we ended up turning it off after a few minutes. Because I have so many suggestions, I will note them in bullet form below. I highly recommend the following food due to unique taste, seasoning perfection, and freshness: *Buffalo cauliflower *Buffalo dip *Eggplant fries (might be seasonal) *Wings-hard to choose what flavor or type as I love them all equally (I have tried the fire grilled and dry rub). *Fish--Though I am not an avid fish lover or consumer, their fish is by far THE BEST I have had. Bonus-Friday's are half priced fish fry days where you get a half order of their fish for $9.99. The half order is PLENTY of food as the full order is huge. *Wannabe shrimp *Monte Cristo (it is too heavy for me, but my daughter got it and loved it. I tasted it and it is a true Monte Cristo). Drinks that are delightful: *Order their Margaritas to go by the gallon. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu is pretty extensive with a variety of American options to include but not limited to wings, sandwiches, salads, burgers, chicken, etc. I found the food to be very flavorful, tasty and the portion sizes were appropriate. The wings are amazing and definitely rank in my top 3 for the Tallahassee area. This restaurant offers a full bar and they have HUGE margaritas and sangrias for $5 all day everyday! SERVICE: The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. They are down to earth, attentive and aim to please. ATMOSPHERE: Casual. Comfortable. There are lots of TV's and they offer both inside and outside seating. This would be a perfect spot to hang out with friends, have a causal dinner or watch a sporting event. This is going to be a favorite for food and watching sports for the foreseeable future. I'd come here just for the food even if there wasn't a single tv. We got to sample a lot of their food for a Yelp event and it was all good. The Fish Friday has been bringing us back ever since. It is a "half" portion but that is enough to feed 2 moderate eaters. I can't imagine ordering the full portion. I also order their onion rings with the garlic aioli for me. We are both very full after our meal. I made the mistake of also ordering a side salad the first time and it was just too much. The fish is a large piece of deliciously fried perfection. The slaw and fries fill in the gaps. I really like their onion rings because of the garlic aioli that comes with. It pairs nicely with the fried onion rings. The Mac'N Cheese Bites and Wannabe Shrimp appetizers are very good. The fire grilled wings were our favorite of all the wing choices. For cocktails, try Ben's Smoked Old Fashioned or the Chill Chocolate White Russian. There have been several restaurants that have tried to make a go at this location and I think Glory Days is going to be a keeper. read more

The haddock fish was very good and the tartar sauce made extra special. The chips were saaalllty. I tried my wife's and hers were ok. Baked beans: 5 stars. Nicely done with good proportion of sausage pieces. Nice faint sweetness after taste :) Banana pudding dessert: 5 stars. Very delicious. My wife and had to fight for it (we ordered one). After two very good lunch experiences over the past few months, it's time to award a solid four star review. Both visits have been on Fridays, so I couldn't resist the "fish fry". A perfectly seasoned and breaded haddock fillet, with waffle fries and coleslaw. Seriously, one of the best $9.99 lunch deals around. One of my dining partners had the voodoo soup, which wasn't even on the menu, but suggested by the server and excellent, I might add. Another had the salmon salad, with berries and nuts. She raved about it, but said the salmon was bit undercooked. On my first visit a few months ago, I sat in the bar. The service was on point. The bartender recommended the sangria, which was so good that I bought a gallon to go both that visit and again today. We were seated on the patio for lunch today, which was very comfortable. The server did a great job on this occasion, as well. Plenty of TVs to occupy your time, as well as corn hole games set up near the front entry. Prior to my last trip, I was enamored with Glory Days. I'm a sports fanatic so I absolutely love all the TVs and the individual speaker boxes at each table for the TVs. The food had been great, the drinks have been cold and they have drink specials. Alkies rejoice! We even had a Yelp event there and had a blast. Then I went in September (2020) and was stonewalled with disappointment. I noticed a couple of groups whose tables were right next to other groups that weren't parts of their parties. Can't be doing THAT during a pandemic. But what really had me disgruntled was my last meal. I ordered the half portion of their Fish Fry. I'm not a fan of lemon on my food so when I bit into the fish, I was disgusted. This wasn't a hint of lemon.....it was an onslaught of citrus. I told the waitress and she said it's their lemon tartar sauce. Excellent! So my fish WASN'T ruined. I asked her if I could have some regular tartar sauce and she said they didn't have any. What........the........f***! How do you serve fried seafood without regular tartar sauce? So they expect everybody to be cool with that lemon flavored foolishness? Don't get it twisted. Glory Days is solid, especially if you want to watch sports. And hopefully they've improved their pandemic efforts since then but I can't give a food business a 5 star review when I witnessed some non-social distancing during these crazy times and for not having regular tartar sauce to put on my fried fish. read more

Used to look forward to going here for football games on Sunday, but that's done now. The food was never anything that great, but it was ok. Mainly went for the games because they have a speaker at each table so you can hear your game. Well that stopped and this past weekend I went and asked if the Dolphins game could be put on the main speaker as they do on Sunday and Monday night and the manager said no. Now I know there are more games on, BUT about 80% of the restaurant was there for the Dolphins game. Manager said no because there are 9 games on. Ok. Then put it on and if anyone, even just one customer, says something, then turn it back to the blaring music you had on. Still said no so I left and won't be back. read more

When we arrived we were told there's a 35 minute wait. Then we were told another half hour and then we were told another half hour. We watched people come in and get a table. We usually use this as our go to place because we like the food and drinks. No more. They lost some customers. We finally got served food at the bar. I'm not a fan of eating at the bar because it's so cramped but we were hungry. We were more than patient knowing about the tornado and all the outages. The point was we patiently waited but the person assigning the tables was giving tables to people that came after us. That was the issue and no apology when she was approached about it. read more

Given this is my first time at a Glory Days "Grill" and at this location, I am sure whenever I'm in Tallahassee, this is not where I would want "grilled" food unless I'm in the mood for charred or overcooked. Came to Tallahassee to drop my kid off at college and thought we would look for something good to eat. Thought about a Chinese buffet but the only one that looked decent was packed. Decided on McDonalds but when we got to McDonalds it was dead and that made us think that either something better was close by or this was the crappy McDonalds in town. That's what led us right next door to Glory Days Grill. The Buffalo chicken dip on the menu online is what caught our eye so we figured to give it a try. The dip was decent. It had a lot of big chunks of fresh chicken. I wasn't too hungry so I decided to just get the Mac & Cheese bites from the appetizer menu. They were not bad. Not the best I have had but by far not the worst. One of the kids got the all American burger cooked medium. It came out as desired and she had no complaints. The other kid got the boneless wings. She thought they were pretty good. But the star of the dinner was my husband's Chicken and Waffles. They were decadent, as well as savory. The waffle alone was absolutely amazing. Add the cinnamon butter and it was out of this world. The chicken to me was a little on the dryer side, but my husband said it was the best chicken and waffles he has ever had. So all in all the food wasn't that bad. The service was a little spotty honestly. The waitress was nice but she disappeared at the end of our meal after she gave us the check and the box for my kids food and we waited 15 minutes for her to never return. Finally a manager came over and took our check for us. I would have left it but didn't feel comfortable leaving a $100 bill just sitting out on the table.
