Ate here last week...... Very good Southern Breakfast! The Chopped Steak & Gravy were prepared perfectly. Juicy and Medium like I like it. The Biscuit was the highlight. So much buttery and doughy goodness. Egg Whites & Grits were standard. The other person in my party had the Hot Chocolate and French Toast. They enjoyed it very much. The service was stellar. Our server took great care of us. I'll be back for the biscuits and great service!

Came here for breakfast. Ordered spinach omelette with home fries and hubby had grits with 2 sunny side eggs. Food and service were both excellent! Ambience real southern! I

A lot of folks had good things to say about Country Kitchen so we popped by for breakfast to see for ourselves. It's very big and open and has a lot of eclectic things on their walls, a very cozy atmosphere. I had their country fried steak bowl with a biscuit. The steak was sliced very thin and a bit dry, the gravy was great, wasn't too impressed with the biscuit. My husband had their spinach omelette with a side of pancake. He said it was ok, the potatoes were crunchy and lacked flavor. As we were leaving the place filled up so there must be something on their menu that draws people here, we just hadn't ordered it.

Lovely old fashioned, locally-owned diner offering southern cooking. The service is down home friendly; you can tell they try to connect with the customers and build lasting relationships. The food is good with huge portions. This is definitely a go to if you don't feel like cooking. The cornbread muffins are amazing and you can tell that they're baked fresh from scratch!

Simple . Simple. Simple. This place is just country. Everything you would expect from a country restaurant. There is some backwoods decor going on here with hub caps, license plates, and pictures of cows and John Wayne. It has a nice comfy feel and everyone is pretty nice and chatty. I had breakfast with country sausage. They actually whisked my eggs which is the only way to eat scrambled eggs in the south. The smoke sausage was a generous portion and cooked just right. I really didn't wait for my food and it came out steamy hot. I saw alot of other ppl plates going out with pot roast, country fried steak and I believe meatloaf. The green must be really good because they were out at 1pm. The price was too affordable. I had to look at my bill multiple times to make sure i had the correct ticket. My only knocks on the place is chairs up on tables while open. I think a host might be needed because a couple of times customers sat down and were not greeted or taken care of in order. "Makes it look like servers are picking which customers to serve." I'll be back. Fyi Google takes you behind the restaurants into a neighborhood.

4/5/18 lunch menu. Lots of good choices. That price includes iced tea!

Yummy food and very sweet waitress. Although it took a really long time to get our food, it was well worth it. The biscuit was great!

It's a more expensive restaurant in town, but you get what you pay for- and the some. Excellent quality. This is the type of restaurant that needs to be nationally ranked. I went on a Tuesday night and reservations were required for indoor dining-it was full inside. There were plenty of people at the bar and there is also outdoor dining. We had the BANG BANG SALMON BITES, BREAD SERVICE; and GAMBAS AL AJILLO as starters/appetizers. The salmon bites were very good and original. I think most will enjoy the gambas (shrimp in garlic) at the Monroe, but I'm partial to the Spanish traditional style which is very heavy garlic. My table had the following dishes: SOUS VIDE LAMB CHOPS; JAPANESE SHORT RIB; STEAK DIANE (8oz and the ribeye (larger portion); BLACKENED SNAPPER; and my entree, AMERICAN WAGYU RAGU. I tried the steak (ribeye) and it was very good: medium rare. The 8oz steak at the table was cooked medium and although the person enjoyed it- you need to be clear you want to have the steak medium rare, it makes a huge difference. Lastly, my American Wagyu RAGU was great and very original. It's a comfort meal. I needed to add Parmesan, but it was meat heavy - which I loved. The dessert menu is ridiculous. Someone had the ice cream trio & . I had the Monroe Wonderball, see video and/or picture. It speaks for itself.

R&R at Hotel Indigo in Tallahassee, FL…read more Stayed a couple nights at Hotel Indigo on a work trip and naturally ended up at R&R more than once because: location, location, location. Easy access plus a bar meant repeat visits. Let's start with the GOODS the drinks! I stopped in to the bar multiple times and the cocktails are where they shined for me. Ryan the bartender - WOW next level. Superb! Knows his stuff, and made every drink a hit for me. My top pick? The Juju, hands down my favorite. But I also got a sneak peek of a new drink coming to their seasonal menu called the Lily Pad, and OMG mmmmmm. So good. Bright, refreshing, well-balanced. Totally check out my photos for that one. Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. It's an embarrassment to the establishment. The Cortado, also a miss!... but it was coffee and I needed to get going to work. R&R, please rethink breakfast: 100% did not meet the price point. Skip breakfast or walk across the street, there's a bagel shop. The hotel indigo is really cute and I'll probably write a review about that on a separate, the place is overall cute, but there's very limited food places around the hotel. So in conclusion, I will give you an extra star for the convenience and the bar. After my experience for breakfast, I did not care to come here for food at all anymore. Expensive cheap food. Just because they're helped by a great bar and a beautiful hotel and a great location..

I forget our waitresses name. The items are reasonably priced and cooked fresh with love. I had the trout and enjoyed everything about it. I will say I had the last trout of the evening. They were running low on a few of the entree items, but it was two hours til closing time. My friend had the pesto pasta and she said she wishes she'd had more pesto sauce and highly recommended adding a protein to it. Since it's connected to a hotel the vibe is pretty cool. I hear breakfast is good and plan to return for it soon.
