Nice little breakfast spot. It was busy but still quick on a Sunday. We had their skillets and were very satisfied. The veggies in my beebee were all fresh, and the country fried steak in the skeeter was nice and crispy. Coffee wasn't the best, but food was very good!

Great and friendly staff. Large portions for breakfast. The funky monkey cakes (pancakes) and fried green tomatoes were phenomenal!

This is the 2nd Canopy Road Cafe that we've dined at in Tallahassee and each has been excellent! The first was on Apalachee and this one was at Capital Circle. We were there early on a Sunday morning and while it was already crowded, we didn't have a wait. The food was delicious! We started with a basket of biscuits, then had orders of omelettes and French Toast. Everything was prepared well and coffee and tea were excellent! It's pretty cool that these restaurants were started by FSU students. They obviously saw the need for breakfast spots and it looks like they now have 5 locations. Next time down here we need to visit another one!

It's ight for a quick bite. Well, our waiter was a little standoffish... he was there but not really. Someone else served us our food. Husband enjoyed his burrito. My skillet was good. I got bacon in it though and it was extremely fatty and I did not like that. Sourdough was good. Hot tea was good. Could use a little TLC and cleaning but it was a good spot.

Great service and atmosphere. The food considered healthier and also tasty. A cafe will visit again when in the area.

I came here a few weeks ago and I was SO impressed! This is the cutest breakfast cafe in Tallahassee! So why is this place so special?! 1. Awesome food- I ordered a Buffalo chicken omelet with home fries and a biscuit. The food came out quickly and tasted delicious! I was really impressed by the ability to have your omelet made with egg whites. Plus this omelet was filled with multiple cheeses which perfectly complimented the hot chicken. Home fries were crisped to perfection and the biscuit was equally create. 2. Creative menu-from the omelets to the pancakes, I want to try everything on this menu! Great job at making your food delicious but also fun! 3. Great space-there is both outside and inside seating. I always appreciate some outside seating during this COVID pandemic! Overall, this is a great place and I will definitely be coming back soon! Keep in mind when you come that the parking is very limited and the inside seating is a bit crammed if you are nervous about indoor seating, definitely opt for outside. But outside only consists of two person tables. Staff also wear masks, so that's a plus!

This is the third location of this local breakfast/lunch chain I've visited. The food is consistently creative, delicious and satisfying. This particular store lacks the ambiance of what I assume to be their original location, on Monroe, and seems a bit more crowded than the one on Apalachee Parkway, but the food and service are 100% on point. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. The server did an awesome job, from start to finish. Great cup of local Lucky Goat coffee. I had the monte cristo with a fruit cup on the side side. There's no way I could eat it all, even though it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the breakfast burrito with a side of hash browns, which was also fantastic... and very filling. (Personally, I'd add jalapeños to the burrito, if I was to order it, but she was thrilled with it). Bottom-line, you can't go wrong with Canopy Road if you're in Tallahasee for breakfast or brunch and okay with non-alcoholic beverages, because that's the one thing they're lacking.

Menu is full of crazy delicious-sounding stuff!

My first impression was "cute, diner vibe" but then I looked at the menu and specials and realized this is no typical diner! I ordered the Doc's Usual from the Healthy Side menu and it was fresh and delicious with egg white s and spinach, 2 turkey sausage patties, wheat toast, and delicious fresh fruit of pineapples, strawberries, and blueberries. My companion had an egg platter with 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. I will definitely come back when I have time in the day to nap after a big breakfast meal to try one of their pancake breakfasts (Fat Elvis pancakes!!) or their Animal Cracker pancakes.

Met friends here for lunch and we enjoyed it! The service was fast and they had a large menu. Everything from breakfast to lunch to dessert pancakes. We tried a variety of their lunch options and everyone was pleased with their meals. The portions were plentiful and the food was fresh. Masks are required inside and all of the servers were wearing masks.

We chose to dine on their colorful outdoor terrace, and when I tell you that we were transported to another country.... I mean, it literally took us out of Tally and dropped us in a tropical paradise. As the sun went down, the lights began to glow. The ambiance was surreal. I repeatedly told my husband I felt thousands of miles away from home. Was it the cafe lights or the Sangria? I can't be sure. The live music began and it was a whole vibe. Heads turned, ears perked up, and an entire terrace just exhaled. The sultry atmosphere was only overshadowed by the savory food. Dear Lord we ate far too much. What is that saying? Ask forgiveness not permission. Sounds about right. We started with cocktails and Fried Yucca. The Jamaican Margarita was a perfect blend with a sweet sugared rim. The Sangria was a full party in the glass with fresh fruit. The Yucca portion was hefty, but we ate it ALL. In hindsight, we should have saved more room for our actual meal. We ordered Lomo Saltado Beef that was so tender and rich, and it was accompanied by another hefty portion of indulgent carbs. See? That's where moderation in our starter would have been wise. Ahh lessons learned. If we had saved half of the Yucca for leftovers it would have reheated in an air fryer beautifully. We also ordered the Escabeche which was a beautifully fried , snapper filet served with sweet potato and rice. The sauce was simple and elegant with that classic tart vinegar bite. We looked at the dessert menu. I repeat, looked. We simply had no more room. We'll be back soon and promise to make it to the dessert menu and coffee.

Our food orders were taken quickly too. Took a good amount of time to get our food and I don't think anyone was impressed with the flavor. I got neither a smoky taste nor a sausage taste from the sausage in my omelette. The Gruyère cheese was bland. Smoked Gouda grits needed salt and were not much for flavor either. Wife's French toast was ok and the bacon was rather plain for flavor. Service was excellent and the food came out pretty quick once it got done so it was still warm. It is loud inside when it is busy. Concrete floors and open ceiling guarantees plenty of echo. This is another $15-$20/person breakfast place to choose from and, for me, I would choose one of my favorites in the future. Glad I tried it because lots of people love the place but it's not for me.
