The upgrade also has allowed for more beers on draft and in bottles. Seriously, this selection is extensive, eclectic, and going to take me a long to work through. The new seating is a big plus, as more people can now fit inside, which is a necessity for the summer. A bit of outdoor seating has been added, ensuring that you can enjoy the fall and spring evenings. Spirit availability was impressive for the size lounge. I was interested in Redbreast Irish Whiskey and they had 12, 15, and wow 21!!! The lounge inside was what I consider small, bar seating, and some table and comfortable chairs. The outside area was covered. Comfortable chairs with tables and ashtrays to handle about 25+/-. Two TV's. There are standing fans and heaters. There was no service to the outside area, so you picked-up your choice of spirit and got comfortable outside. We enjoyed our spirit and cigars with no one complaining about the smoke. It happened to be a very rainy night and the north area was a bit flooded, but no leaks from above. Pro Great selection of spirits. Cigar and I think cigarettes, evidence by butts in the ashtrays, are allowed outside. The inside lounge was very clean, as well as the two unisex bathrooms. Con The flooded area was unfortunate, but there was only three of us, and it didn't cause an issue. The Ashtrays had been mostly emptied, but not wiped down. Really not inviting to rest your cigar on a dirty ashtray. An easy wipe with a microfiber goes a long way. Not really a Con, but there was no Service outside on the Tuesday night we visited. Overall a nice experience for a dreary night. My friends and I will return, hopefully on a nicer evening. I snapped a photo of the menu because each dish that was served to other customers looked really good. Moistened my palate and smelt good too! Before leaving, we visited the restrooms which are located outside of the building. I thought that was neat too. Clean and stocked. Always a good thing! The atmosphere, drinks, and overall experience were excellent, but Christine's exceptional customer service is what really stood out. The bartenders are experienced, their signature cocktails are well balanced and well known all around Tally. The service for the most part is friendly as long as you're not causing a disturbance. To be honest I don't think I ever ordered food at Township, so I can't really say much about it's dishes but what I can say is that the bartenders make pretty good drinks.

We ordered drinks around 1:50 AM and were peacefully enjoying them when, at 2:00 AM, a security guard aggressively demanded that I leave--even though I clearly explained I was waiting for my wife. I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. Their beer singles cover a good range of Florida breweries, mainstream craft brewers, as well as lesser-known ones as well. I am just really impressed with their selection - they do an awesome job at stocking. With that said, some of these specialty beers they offer are not cheap - but, there are options in a wide range of prices. I will visit here every time I am in Tallahassee to bring some brews back home after a work trip.

With their renovations a couple years ago, Beer Stop now houses 2 walk-in coolers and a much larger center area. Nowhere else am I able to find all my favorite German beers that I haven't found anywhere else outside of Germany. The owner and his family are all super friendly and will gladly help you if you are looking for something specific. Even if it isn't in stock at the moment, just ask and they can order it.
