This month it's Jill Pickle. All concoctions have women's names. Absolutely delicious! The chicken is well shredded so no big lumps. My husband and I split a two scoop plate with a side of fruit. They give plenty of crackers to eat with the chicken salad. My favorite is the one with dried cranberries. Returned on Saturday to get some chicken salad to go for dinner on Sunday night. On Saturday, buy a large tub, get a small one for free. Good deal as this stuff isn't cheap. I wish we had one at home. If I was younger I start my own franchise. Quick, friendly, and helpful service, especially for a first-timer. Extremely clean and bright, such a nice dining room. Serve yourself drinks. Have you ever had beige food? Beige food lacks everything you want in food (color, flavor, texture, personality, umami). Beige food is beige on beige, always tastes like it needs to be cooked a little longer, is almost always boiled and tastes like water. It is void of any seasonings and spices, even salt and pepper. I'd venture to say people who make beige food eat only to sustain life, they don't actually LIKE food. Iceberg lettuce has more oomph than beige food. With that said, let me introduce y'all to the most beige food I have ever had in my life: Chicken Salad Chick restaurants. I ordered online and picked it up on my way home from work. The descriptions sounded so good on the online menu. I ordered a family meal. It included my choice of 2 "flavors" of chicken salad, 2 side dishes, some cookies, and a gallon of sweet tea, plus I ordered a couple of extra "flavors" of chicken salad, an extra side dish, and a slice of cake. It's pitiful when the only thing you sell that has any flavor is the iced tea (the iced tea was fire). This food bored me to sleep. To the tune of $83. They have about 15 "flavors" of chicken salad with no flavor. They only have one that contains onions, only one that contains eggs and pickle relish, but none that have all 3. Plus the amount of onions, eggs and relish they use is obviously one teaspoon per 5 gallons. The only one that had ANY flavor was the buffalo chicken salad. The salads...grrrr...terrible. Don't let the pictures fool you. The broccoli "salad" was just a bowl of raw, chopped up broccoli, nothing else. The pasta salad (which was described as having dressing, cheeses, olives and artichoke hearts) was just unseasoned pasta (I mean, they didn't even salt the pasta water). I think I found 2 pieces of olive in it, no artichoke at all. And I have no idea what or why that grape salad was supposed to be doing. There were strange tasting grapes with some white stuff on them. The pale ass cookies and "White Chocolate" cake tasted like nothing, there was no discernible flavor in either. I vowed the only reason I might ever go back there is to get the incredibly good iced tea. So I stopped by yesterday to get a gallon of tea. Guess how much they wanted to charge me for a gallon of tea? SIXTEEN DOLLARS AND SIXTY-NINE CENTS!!! Yes, I said $16.69 for a gallon of tea. So I won't be going back to Boiled chicken salad chick for anything. read more

My boyfriend and I come to this location fairly often and I have yet to have nothing but the best service. I'm not one to ever leave a review but the management is so welcoming and kind it's hard no to rave about them. Every time we come in the manager is so quick to say "welcome back" and is quick to give us samples of the flavors of chicken salad we haven't tried. I used to like this place they have a strawberry lemonade sort of like Wendy's HOWEVER past four times I've asked for NO BACON and every time they bring it out it's covered in bacon. I DO NOT EAT PORK. They need to train people to READ the ticket before bringing it to the table. Last time I decided to eat here I decided strictly based off how quiet it is because my baby fell asleep while I was out- but the ENTIRE time we were eating a girl was walking around with the tiniest handheld vacuum that she turned on right next to me at level with my FOOD and how rude to do right next to me when I have a sleeping baby- that she woke up by doing that. Today was my first time eating food from Chicken Salad Chick, and it was meh at best. I am disappointed because I had heard great things. Granted, I don't eat chicken...but I was conducting a training where we got a catered lunch for the group, and this is what was chosen. There are very few options for someone who doesn't eat meat, so I ordered a pasta salad. It was tri-color rotini pasta doused in Italian dressing and had a couple of pieces of feta cheese and black olives plus one tiny speck of an artichoke. It lacked taste and substance, so I brought it home and added more feta cheese, hot sauce, and black pepper to make it slightly more palatable. What's worse is that everyone who ordered the chicken sandwiches got a little fruit cup and cookies plus utensils and a napkin. I got absolutely nothing! It's a good thing I had an extra fork in my car. :) The fruit and cookies looked very good, but my drab pasta salad stood alone. The students in my class said their chicken salad sandwiches were good, so at least there's that. I wish they had a vegan mock chicken option because I would have loved that. I'm not going to lie I was a sceptic of this establishment... if I wasn't so secure in my own masculinity I was second guess walking into chicken salad chick. Boy o boy o boy was I glad I walked in though because I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the chicken salad was. They put in on bread with lettuce and tomato! Even added a pickle on the side! The food was so so tasty. The one thing I would be weary of is how appealing this place is to those of us with the male appendage. The food selection was ample and descriptive. We ordered a chicken salad BLT with egg salad and a classic chicken salad with Mac&cheese both on a croissant, and two drinks. The classic was good, but came with a potato soup instead of the Mac&Cheese that we ordered. The chicken salad BLT was good, but the egg salad tasted like it came out of a cardboard box, very dry. The meals came with a wrapped cookie with butter cream icing, which tasted ok, but the ingredients in the wrap listed "carroginean" a know carcinogenic element. Our drinks were right on target. This was my first time eating here. I opted for the kids meal. I ordered the turkey sandwich, which came with a side, I opted for Mac and cheese. The portion size of the kids meal was definitely fulfilling to me, and the sandwich was great (didn't even get a chance to take a picture of it since I devoured it), I couldn't even eat all of the Mac and cheese. The only thing I didn't like is that the kids meals only come with water. If I were to bring my kids, that would be an ultimate turn off for them . I also ordered a slice of the blueberry cheesecake, and this is the other reason they only got 3 stars. I went to this location on a Saturday afternoon and was able to walk right up and place my order. The team member was very helpful and I was able to use the pocket points back to school deal to get a bogo sandwich. I had the Fancy Nancy, one with bacon on a croissant and one with the wheatbread (for my husband). I tried both and enjoyed them equally. I have really been on a healthy eating kick these past couple of days and was looking for something tasty to eat that would fit into my healthy eating regime. I ordered the Sassy Scotty on white bread with Fresh fruit. I also was interested in trying the loaded baked potato soup and I'm glad I did. It was AMAZING. We've been coming here regularly since we moved to the area just over a year ago. Chicken Salad Chick is by far my favourite place to eat! Consistently good food. So many delicious options. I have loved everything we've ordered, but my favourite is the Fancy Nancy on a croissant w/grape salad. Hubby's go to is the Olivia's Old South w/ broccoli salad. Try the potato soup! I had heard so much about this place on the radio and was anxious to try it. So yesterday, at lunch, I went in and ordered a Classic Carol on toasted wheatberry and broccoli salad as a side. The salad was very good, the chicken sandwich not so much. The menu says, "All white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise, & our secret seasoning." The chicken was surely shredded, it almost looked like tuna. The celery was so finely minced I was unable to locate it and if there was any secret seasoning again I could not taste it. The chicken was also tasteless. I received a heel of the bread, toasted on only one side, the other slice was toasted fine. And to top it off, when I got home I looked at my receipt and found a $2.44 tip that was applied to my bill. That is 18.6% for a tip that I did not authorize, was not told about, and yet it was applied to my bill. A TIP is "to insure prompt service" or as the dictionary says, "a sum of money as a way of rewarding them for their services." Neither of these things did they do. Tips should not be for a business to make an extra buck. I will not be back and plan to tell anyone who asks about it my experience and suggest they find a better place to eat. As chicken salads #1 fan, I'm not impressed. Went here for lunch today for the first time with the boyfriend. Our server (lady at the cash register, as it's an order up front and seat yourself style place) wasn't that helpful, so it was a fumbling start for us as we tried to figure out what to get. This use to be a good place to eat. I was in Tallahassee on other business and had planned to pickup some chicken salad for family for dinner. I get there and there are five young people working there, but mostly just standing there trying not to make eye contact. I start placing the order and the cashier keeps interrupting me to communicate with the kitchen. Just about everything we wanted was out!
