It's not that the food, prices or ambiance have gone downhill, but the service is something that Ruby Tuesday should be ashamed of. We decided to sit at the bar when it was obvious that the line at the door was not moving at all. The bar wait was just as long because we found out the one waitress/hostess/bartender/everything else was all being performed by the same poor woman!! She was doing her best. I don't have any complaint against her but Ruby Tuesday- get some people in here!!! This is crazy!! I witnessed the staff tell incoming customers they might come back later and I don't blame them. I would rather have an honest assessment of the situation than for someone to tell me it will be a few minutes and it turns into an hour. I brought a guest here from out of town hoping to impress him and that was a terrible mistake. The saving grace- after the long wait, the food came out and tasted pretty good. The tots and smash burger were great. The fries could have been cooked a little longer and the "medium" cheeseburger was definitely on the rare side. So overall today thy get a "3" but I will try again soon and see how they do. read more

Though it has "been a minute" since my last visit to Ruby Tuesday, this recent dining experience was more pleasant than our last experience. Time flies! My husband and I felt the need for something "very filling" after a couple of hours shopping at Lowe's - we thought about Ruby Tuesday. We were greeted with a smile and seated within 10 minutes. We started the meal with stuffed mushrooms and chips/queso. The queso was just a bit luke-warm, so I sent it back and it was returned just right :o); the mushrooms were tasty. My husband had the salad bar, plus a bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. He wasn't too impressed with his burger though. I ordered honey salmon over a bed of salad greens. A couple of add-on ingredients were missing from my salad when it was served, but not a big deal. I just went to the salad bar for the missing items. The salmon was pretty good. We were both very tempted to order dessert, but were stuffed and didn't want to take home any sweets. Our server was nice and very accommodating. read more

The worse Ruby Tuesday I have ever been to. The evening my husband and I went there there were only a few cars parked outside. Definitely not busy. When we walked in, there was no line so we were happy thinking we'd get quick service. Wrong! We stood around waiting by the empty foyer. No host, no waitress, no one around. After a couple minutes a server walked by and said "someone will be right with you." Took another few minutes before that happened. We chose to go there that evening because we were traveling through Florida and knew of the awesome salad bar they usually offer. My husband ordered an entree with a side salad, and I ordered a salad as my meal. This salad bar was awful. It was around 7:30 pm and a few of the items needed to be refilled. We were able to fill our plates with whatever was left. A few minutes later a family came in. One of the patrons ordered the salad bar as her meal. She went up to the salad bar but came right back to her table, telling her group that there was barely anything there. She informed the waitress, waited a few minutes, went back, and it still wasn't refilled. I don't know what's wrong with that particular Ruby Tuesday, but I definitely don't recommend going there at all. read more

I was actually pretty pleased with my recent visit to Ruby Tuesday. I came with some former coworkers on a random Wednesday afternoon and there were a good amount of people inside much to my surprise. I just opted for the salad bar which really hit the spot. I would just recommend Adding some sort of salad option such as a chicken salad or a tuna salad to give a little more protein to the options that were available. Our waitress was pleasant however after our meal came we didn't see her for a while and we needed our waters refreshed and plates removed pretty badly. read more

1/26/25 4:30pm, the service by our waiter was terrible. We were never given utensils or refills on water, we waited 30 minutes for our food, and many of the tables had food and dirty dishes on them that needed to be picked up. Those dishes were there before we arrived and was still on the tables when we left, ruining the ambiance. Overall food quality was mediocre because by the time food came out, our fries were cold. Our waiter told me that the chicken tender meal had 5 tenders, then I find out 30 minutes later that it was only 4 and all he said was "Oops, I guess I'll know for next time". If I knew it was 4 I wouldn't have ordered this meal, and it's frustrating he didn't try to compensate for being wrong by giving me an extra tender! Also the fries were bare on my plate, I could get a 4 tender meal at chilis for the same price, and getting double the fries! I do not want to go here again after this experience. Hi I was on last Monday 02/24/2025 for dinner there. It was easy to get seated in low traffic The seat bench was still damaged as the year before. No beer except Miller Light on Draft but it advertised 7 Beer on Draft including Samual Adams. So, we took bottles of Beer. The advertisement order wasn't offered only when we asked, we could get it. As the second drink was close to impossible to get, we needed to ask another server. To ask for additional drinks we gave up. After that we got our check, which we didn't ask for. The burger that we ordered was okay the Fries were fresh but not crispy and needed a bit more cocking time. The best was the Salat buffet which is probably the best you can get in Tallahassee. So upset with this place today. I hope management can do something about their processes. I stopped in to place a to go order for a home bound person. I knew what I wanted because I'd looked at the menu online. I went in and the hostess asked how many and I informed her that I had a to go order. She just pointed at the bar. Stepped to the bar and there were three people standing behind it by the cash register by the kitchen. No one greeted me but they did see me. Another lady walked up and asked dining in and I said again, taking out. She walked into an office not to be seen again. So I waited. And I waited some more. Others left but the bartender started making drinks. I asked if someone could take my order. She informed me that a take out specialist would take my order. This person was no where to be found. I asked the bartender if she could take my order to which she replied she had a lot of drinks to make. There was a waitperson for the main dining room which had one table of four. That's it. Total customer count was 5 including me. I counted 6 employees and that is not including whomever was in the kitchen. I had to get the food to the person's house before his nurse left. I stood up hoping someone would take a hint. By then, the hostess had disappeared as well. Frustrated, angry and sad that this happened and my friend would not get a Salmon dinner! I tip at least 25% on a to go order and more when I eat in. The overhead for that restaurant today was probably very high compared to the income. This all happened between 2:20 and 2:50. I was afraid of ordering anything that's going to be cooked because I don't know when it would get to my table, so I just ordered a garden bar salad. I usually come here every few months to dine with my in-laws because it is their favorite restaurant. Their salad bar remains the best out of all chain restaurants and they have added tasty healthy choices to accompany entrees (such as the grilled zucchini). I do miss the mashed cauliflower, however. My usual go to is the top sirloin cooked medium. On almost all occasions it is cooked to perfection. Service is usually in line with a 5 star restaurant, more recently our server Thaddeus went above and beyond. They tend to have drink specials and send out coupons monthly. read more

Another chain restaurant that I like because they have one of the most interesting salad bars around. We don't go often, but always at lunch when there are several inexpensive options that include the salad bar. My wife likes their "small plates", usually the sirloin. Today I tried the crab cakes. They were small and thin and some might consider them too small and thin, but knowing the price of crab meat these days I appreciated that there was plenty of crab. They tasted delicious. I much prefer small and thin, but full of crab to them adding more filler to make it look like you are getting a lot. This location is very well decorated and comfortable. The service is always good here. And the salad bar is wonderful as always. read more

I usually like this restaurant. Their prices have increased a lot since I last visited. The salad bar alone is over $12. I got a meal and the salad bar. Everything looked beautiful, I didn't eat dinner later, and that evening and the whole next day my insides were completely liquified. I don't know if salad items were being kept for too long or the temperature was insufficient or something else. Nothing looked old. Nothing tasted off. Maybe the tomatoes looked a bit watery. But it did a number on me unlike anything I've eaten in the last two years. $20 seems high for a small lunch followed by food poisoning. At least I never threw up. Crafty crab is across the street. They advertise $9 lunch specials. Never been there but maybe I'll check them out next time instead. I do love the Ruby Tuesday salad bar so perhaps if I'm brave I'll avoid the pasta salad area - those look like they might be updated every day. read more

First let me apologize but I forgot to take pictures of the main course meals. I don't know what's happening to this place but it kinda get worse and worse. I'm afraid if they don't increase the food quality or cooks this place is gonna shut down soon. Food: I came with my family and we all got the 3 course meals. 2 steaks and 2 chicken dishes. All of them were below average to maybe average. The steaks were really bad. The chicken was ok. The desserts were also pretty bad. Brownie was really dry as well as the key lime cake. Only thing I actually maybe liked was the salad bar and that's not a good enough reason to come back. Service/decor: Service was good and friendly and our waitress was really nice. I am guessing they take barely warmed up leftovers from the day before and hand them out for their to go orders hoping the recipient will not notice. Ruby Tues proferred a confusing online mobile Ad indicating BOGO and $9.99 specials. The fine print that indicated BOGO for entrees was buried in the ad, and requires sigining up for a new Rewards App. (On an iPhone, the fine print is pretty tiny). The signup for that was extremely complicated, and an older Ruby Tue App with an older password prevented the new App from working. You have to sign up with a new ID and new Password to get the BOGO, but the new signup refers back to the old URL. Worse, it is not explained that the BOGO offer sends you an email with a coupon code, which is needed to get the BOGO. The email finally showed up, while at the restaurant, but due to the login issues, we could not login to the new app to get the code. Even Worse, the online Mobile App at quick glance gives the impression of a $9.99 BOGO which inlcudes the 6oz steak. The staff was completely confused on how to make this work. We finally figured it out. It was two separate offers. The choice was either an Entree BOGO, or buy two $9.99 specials. The manager couldn't make the BOGO entree offer work. He gave up, and gave us the BOGO offer, one salad bar entree and a 6oz rib eye steak. Final Bill $21.48. We packed a ToGo Salad, so that sort of made up for some of the hassle. But the 6oz Steak? See the Ad photo vs what came out of the kitchen for a 6oz steak. What we received was more like a flat iron Hors d'Oeuvre, about 1/4 inch thick and 5.4oz. See photos. So the BOGO Ad was a bust, the implementation of the new App was a bust, the Steak shown in the Ad was not what was delivered and charging $21.48 for an a flatiron like steak? was absurd. You get a much better steak meal and service at Texas Roadhouse. The only thing Ruby Tue has going for it, is the $9.99 Fish Sandwich and $9.99 salad bar on Tuesdays. Based on today's experience, though, we won't be back. read more

I only gave 1 star because you can't give 0. The service was very slow and the food was cold and bad. On top of that it's empty so it's not like they're busy. It took 30 minutes just to get a drink. You would think they hatched the chicken and killed it in the back as long as it took. McDonalds makes a burger better than them. Husband and I visited last night for dinner. We were so looking forward to a big salad with all our favorites. Wow we're we disappointed. We'd been there before over the years and as often as two months back. This was different, everything was different. Limited selection, dirty, half filled containers. The pre-made salad mixes were off as well. Husband tried the macaroni with ham salad and after one bite pushed the rest away sighting he could not recognize the taste. Nice quiet dinner last night at Ruby Tuesday's. A nice location with a lot of parking there is a back parking lot no one uses. Descent size salad bar if that's your thing. For me it's not. Some great specials and in the mail we get coupons regularly for free appetizers or buy one get 1/2 price meals etc. it was graduation night so two restaurants we wanted to goto where over booked so we stopped here while driving by with low hopes. But it was excellent, our host was friendly and kept refilled are huge drink mugs like knights getting drunk at the inn. The chips and dip appetizer where fresh, the steaks and shrimp where cooked to our liking. No it wasn't a steakhouse steak but was forty dollar night out probably one my cheaper dates ever. read more

This is a chain restaurant, so the expectation was just ok before going in. Family and I all wanted little salad and this place is known for its salad bar. Son just had bacon cheeseburger, and I had the burger with salad option and wife had just salad. Overall, my burger was well done even though I asked for medium. The salad bar was also a bit messy with sticky serving utensils and food outside of the bowls. Aside from that, everything else was good. The salad maybe a bit messy but it was tasty as well. The service from our waiter was great as he came back to check on us several times and water was filled. As I'm from Texas, I don't get to visit Ruby as often as I would like. Today was my son's birthday so we decided to have dinner at Ruby Tuesday on Capital Circle. First off, there was a nice large parking lot with plenty of parking, even a couple of side parking spots off to the right as you're pulling in. Upon walking in we noticed how clean everything looked and how nice the lighting was, not too bright or too dark. Past by the salad bar and it looked great. Will have to try that the next go round. We were immediately greeted and seated even though it was kind of packed when we walked in around 7:15. We had a wonderful waitress named Morgan, who was very pleasant and attentive the whole time and always had a smile when she came to our table. My son and I both got the Mango sweet tea. Loved it!! Will have to go back just for that tea alone!!! The food...they bring you out these complimentary garlic cheese biscuits that we devoured in two seconds. Very yummy. There were so many choices on the menu I picked out five different dinners before I finally narrowed it down to two...the Thai Phoon Shrimp appetizer and the popcorn shrimp dinner with fries and baked potato. My son got the shrimp fondue with tortilla chips. We were obviously in a shrimp mood. Everything, and I do mean everything, was cooked perfectly. Nice size shrimp with both appetizers and with my meal. Fondue was thick and cheesy, baked potato with butter and sour cream was cooked just right. Nice portion sizes too. Even as much as we ate we still had leftovers to take home. Even though it was full in there our appetizers and dinner still came out pretty quick. I can't say enough about our wonderful experience tonight. The most awesome part of the dinner had to be when our waitress, Morgan, brought my receipt back after paying and she told me that a table had an extra coupon so she went ahead and applied it to our check! I have NEVER had any waiter or waitress to do that for us. EVER. Kudos to Ruby Tuesday for having one of the most compassionate and thoughtful waitresses that I've ever come across in my life. Today, we just wanted to get out and go to diner. No kids, no parents, just us. We decided to go here because we really like the salad bar. We got there, greeted and sat right away. It wasn't that busy in there.. Started out right, feeling good about this. Waitress came out in couple of minutes and we ordered our food and just had water. Still looking good. We ordered the 2 for $24 meal with an extra salad bar. Still looking good. We went to the salad bar and as always, love their selection. Still looking good. Now, 25 minutes and we finished our 1st plate from the salad bar and still no food (hint, the 2 for 24 special comes with an appetizer). Ok, possibly short staffed so we go and get another helping at the salad bar. Now it has been about 45 minutes since we arrived and not a soul has checked in on us. We got the attention of our waitress and asked about our food and she said, "Who was your server?" We then looked at each other and then looked at her and we said you are. She never put our order in. We were going to have them give us the rest of the meal togo but then we were worried it would take another 20+ minutes so we just said that if we could get the bill for what we had. When the bill came, it was over $30. We both handle numbers all day and realizes it made no sense. We asked for a breakdown and we got charged for 2 salad bars @12.99 each instead of getting the 2 for 24 which includes salad bars and an appetizer that we never got and there were charges for cokes that we did not order. We were told that there was confusion with our table and others. The finally adjusted it and of still not what was advertised. Instead of 2 for 24, it came out to 2 for 25. I know it is a dollar and it was a struggle trying to get the other charge handled that we just wanted to pay and go. We were made to feel like they were doing us a favor by reducing our bill to what it should have been. I think we overpaid because we never got our appetizer. We always try to give the benefit of the doubt but when the server doesn't even realize that they took an order from you, that makes us not want to go there anymore. We know that this might not make a difference to a corporation like theirs but it effects us because we get very little alone time and we just wanted to spend a nice evening together. All we can do is laugh it off and try not to let it ruin the rest of our evening.
