There was not an empty table for lunch and we had a quick wait of maybe ten minutes before we were seated. Even though it was 12 noon, I wanted breakfast which is served all day. I ordered the Southern Sunrise Breakfast and was not disappointed at all. I got with two fried chicken tenders with sausage gravy, grits, two fried eggs and a biscuit. The plate was full and I ended up not eating the biscuit. It tasted very good. I was very happy and look forward to my next time there where I plan to get the same thing, The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was very clean.

Unless there is a sporting event next-door, I can usually find a place at the bar or get a table. If you sit at the bar, hope Mariah is there. She makes a good cocktail and she's incredibly sweet. Food is consistent and very good. Their smoked wings must be the best in town get the lemon pepper rub in the house made blue cheese dip. You won't regret it. The restaurant was nice and clean, save for something that was splashed on the wall in our booth - but it's a restaurant. There's going to be little picky things here and there and I'm sure it was wiped down by the end of the day! Our hostess was also our server and she was so knowledgeable about the menu. I took her suggestions at every turn and did not regret it. We started off with the Bang Bang Brussels Sprouts app and let me tell you - I could've eaten that as my entire meal. They are SO delicious and I'll be dreaming of them until I can return to Rock Hill. Holy cow, they were good - crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor and just enough spice to give the sweetness a little bite. So good. My husband had the country fried steak and he said it was very good. Not the best he's ever had, he said, but good enough. He wished there'd been more steak and less crust, but the flavor was right on. They were out of the salt and pepper flounder, so I changed my order to the ranch chicken. Ummmm....excuse me. Who says not to order chicken breasts at restaurants? The portion size is SO generous and the chicken is SO DELICIOUS that I, the girl who rarely bothers to take leftovers, boxed up what was left and brought it back to my hotel and ate it as a midnight snack. The grilled zucchini served on the side of it was delicious. If I ever get back, I'll ask if I can skip the potatoes in favor of more of that zucchini! We didn't really have room for dessert, but when we heard about the warm banana pudding, we were curious. DO NOT SKIP THIS DESSERT. If you're a banana pudding fan, this will blow your mind. Absolutely incredible! It's both warm and cool at the same time, caramelized bananas and a torched meringue topping were bowl-licking delicious. However, another server named Cody truly stepped in and turned things around for us. His effort did not go unnoticed and made a huge difference in our visit. We also want to shout out the wonderful lady who brought out our food with the dinosaur checkbook..she was a breath of fresh air and added such a positive touch to our experience. I called an hour and a half before my party arrived of 20 and spoke with a large party manager Montana and my party had to wait close to two hours after our arrival for a table. What blows my mind is that they will put parties of a smaller number on their weight as a call ahead and they don't have to wait as long. However, large parties don't get that same courtesy. I feel like this policy is completely backwards and it frustrates me to no end. I'm not sure if it's because the majority of the staff is young or they just don't care but I have a hard time interacting with them. There were several interactions during our visit they ruined the experience. For example since we had to wait the long period of time I told all of my family to know what they wanted to order. I asked the hostess for a menu for an older family member to look at and she told me they didn't have menus that I could either scan and look at the menu on a phone or stand and look at the menu tucked away close to the To-go area. I said I need the menu for a person over 75 yrs old and she looked at me like tough cookies and continued back to what she was doing. I'm so glad the Steele Creek area is getting a new location and hopefully we won't have to deal with some of this. Probably won't fix the large party issue (since this seems like a general company policy) but it makes me happy we won't have to travel so far to get to a location on a regular basis.
