Day After July 4th! They were very busy. I came to dine in late breakfast around 1pm in the afternoon. I was the only one to dine this time around, and I ordered the Steak and Eggs breakfast platter: two eggs sunny side up, Texas toast, their delicious home fries, which never disappoints, and perfect hot cup of coffee to start me late day or rest. Being the only one dining this time around, understanding that when a single person does dine in, usually the wait is a bit longer, and that is understandable, but I did wait quite a bit for my food, even though I was very distracted with posting updates on my social media and texting my family and friends on my Fun times last night with Fireworks and food fun! My waitress named Niya took special care of me, regardless of the long wait time for my food, and i never complained and just patiently waited to observe how crazy busy they were. Finally getting my food, and everything was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and all around delicious! Niya was so polite and very tentative of my patience; noticing I hadn't received my food yet, she was very kind of offering anything I needed while I was patiently waiting, and Niya offered me a discount because I was so patient with them, and I was very grateful for her service. Regardles of the long wait time to get my food, as my last visit, my experience at this location is still a wonderful place to dine it. The staff and Service is very professional, clean, and presentation of their food is "SPOT ON". I review places all over social media, and I still am pleased with EGGS UP GRILL in Rock Hill, SC. I highly recommend this place as one of the best breakfast and lunch places to enjoy and eat, if you have nowhere in a "RUSH" to go to with friends and family, or just like my solo visit, just all around a good warm atmosphere leaving you feel like you just ate a home cooked meal. Comfort Food and chill Vibe Brunch! If you're looking for a spot that has great food, nice ambience and amazing customer service, then you have to check this spot out in Rock Hill South Carolina. Our waitress Emily was so sweet, attentive and friendly. She made sure to break the menu down for me so I won't be surprised with any extra charges and I was very appreciative of that. The eggs were cooked so soft...my country style potatoes were seasoned great and delicious, my pancake was cooked to perfection and still Fluffy. My son enjoyed his breakfast as well. Let get the basics out of the way. Parking is easy. This place is in the same parking area as Harris Teeters so ample parking. The atmosphere is pretty laid back. Think diner vibes. Similar to early 2000s Denny's, but less sticky floors lol. The server was very friendly and made some great suggestions about the food. The vanilla cold brew was delicious 10/10 but the Mocha Cafe Coffee... was a hot mess, literally. Within a few seconds of getting it the heat had melted the whipped cream all over the coffee cup making it a sticky mess anytime we tried to take a drink. Taste was good but wouldn't order again due to mess. We order 4 dishes, one regular French Toast, one creme brulee French Toast, one regular eggs Benedict and one crab cake eggs Benedict. Listen here you get that Eggs Benedict right now! Stop looking at this review and just get it. Yes, it was so good I ate it before I could even get a picture! As for the French Toast it was a hit or miss. The Regular French Toast was good but the Creme Brulee French toast was very burned. So I would not recommend that. What an experience. Came in to enjoy a blessed Sunday breakfast with my friend and when we came in we were sat rather quickly but once we had sat and ordered drinks the waitress who already came off very "doom and loom" with just our drink order took 15 minutes before checking for our food order. Once our food came it was ice cold, we tried to be as gentle as possible in explaining how the food was cold and the attitude of our waitress was terrible. I know this is a chain, and it's actually quite popular in Rock Hill, so thought I'd check it out... First of all, when we arrived around 9 am, it was packed...but luckily, we were still able to slide right into a booth. The place itself is just as I had anticipated...casual, bright lighting, kind of basic...with no music overhead, but very loud noises of locals yapping-yelling. I wasn't craving anything with eggs or even something sweet, so I decided to go for one of their lunch items, BBQ Chicken Melt, with their Home Fries. Well, for starters, the Iced Coffee was possibly the worst tasting Iced Coffee I've ever had. Not sure if it was the coffee itself, or the cheap cream packets (it didn't even come with milk)...but it tasted AWFUL! I basically lost all hopes for good food then. Sure enough, the BBQ Chicken Melt was equally bad. Truly, even I would have made a better version at home. Theirs was this sloppy looking sandwich...all greasy and salty...yet with no flavor. I barely ate half. The Home Fries were terrible as well...SO flavorless, yet overly salty! Just AWFUL!! My buddy got the French Toast with Bacon...and that, too, was shockingly bad. First of all, it wasn't really the plump "French Toast"...just a thin, standard, buttered toast with some powder over it. HUH?!? I was actually shocked at how a place with such crude foods (salty, greasy and bland...what lovely combo!) could be so popular. Sorry for being harsh, but this HAS to be the worst breakfast eatery/restaurant that I've ever been to...as long as I can remember?? For that, I can't rate higher than 1 star. One positive thing was that our waitress was quite perky, and did her job well. Also, we got our foods in a timely manner...so no issues with service really. Obviously, I DID have issues with the foods though. Given the high ratings here, I really thought the foods would be MUCH better than this. :( read more

Eggs Up Grill is a solid place for breakfast. I'm sure they have good lunch too, but as many times as I have eaten here, I cannot pull myself away from the omelettes, founder's corned beef hash, and lattes to find out. They have 2 locations just outside of Charlotte and both give efficient friendly service. Food quality is consistent and there are satisfying portions (not overwhelming). The menu is very comprehensive and there is something for everyone. I definitely recommend joining the email club. This is the only restaurant that celebrates your birthday with a fully free meal and drink, you can't beat that! I enjoy a nice no-frills breakfast from time to time and this casual spot checks the box. I'll be back! read more

I was meeting a friend and arrived first to get us a table, The wait was relatively short for a Saturday afternoon. However, I sat at the table for nearly 10 minutes before being greeted by a server. I ordered coffee and a water which were promptly delivered. After putting the right amount of cream and Splenda, I took a sip of my coffee and nearly cut my lip on a chipped cup! I requested a new cup and actually enjoyed my coffee. I ordered the Little Deuces with crispy Turkey Bacon( trying to eat healthier) & a side of grits. We were talking a lot but I think our food arrived quickly. However, my crispy Turkey Bacon was barely cooked. I wish I had taken a picture of it. I requested for it to be cooked longer. The picture shows my crispy Turkey Bacon and my now ice cold eggs! So I had to request more eggs. The pancakes and grits were very good though. Not sure if I will visit again. read more

I was in Rock Hill so I wanted to check out this location since I had recently been to the one in Ballantyne in the CLT. There menu was essentially the same but they had a few extra specials so I opted for the Crab Cake Benedict. I added grits and whole wheat toast as my sides. Everything was great, the bottomless coffee and the service, all excellent! This location is in a shopping center adjacent to the Rock Hill Harris-Teeter. The service was great, I got regular coffee refills from my server, Savanah. The difference with this location is they don't have a breakfast bar with stools. This location does not offer outdoor seating, there is plenty of free parking. read more

This was a great breakfast spot in a regular shopping center. Not the sort of place you'd think to stop by but definitely worth it if you'd like a classic, tasty American breakfast. Our waitress was very sweet and prompt. She could see I was struggling to make a choice and suggested I mix and match, which I didn't even realize was an option. I ended up getting a piece of the banana foster French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy. They were both so good and I would definitely order again. The French toast was exactly what perfect French toast dreams are made of. My only complaint is that the host who seated us was a little weird about pushing two tables together for our larger group, even though we'd called ahead to make sure they could accommodate our group and a baby stroller. Our waitress, Erica was a delight. I start my review with recognizing our waitress as she was awesome. Along with the food Erica was a star. The restaurant is located in a strip mall. We got there on a Saturday morning. The place was almost full. We arrived and were seated immediately. The place had a line shortly after we were seated. The corned beef has is home made, it made my selection easy. I had the corned beef omelet with Swiss cheese. My wife had the eggs over easy on top of the corned beef hash. We cleaned out plates. They have a very full breakfast menu, but have enough sandwiches and the like to make it a lunch option also. My wife and I stopped for lunch. She had the egg bomb BLT with grits, and I had the Brunch burger with potato salad. We both thought our meals were very good. We enjoyed a late breakfast here. It's a typical strip mall breakfast joint, but the decorations are cute and it's clean. We really enjoyed the photos of the founders! We tried a wide variety of the plates. The shrimp and grits omelette is good, but the fire roasted tomatoes overpower the taste of the grits. The omelette was light and flaky with plenty of shrimp. They have some crazy fished, like Key lime waffles and banana pudding pancakes that look amazing, but I would have to order a side of insulin to eat them. We liked it so much we that we tried to eat there again on Sunday morning but the line was out the door (for good reason), so we went to a First Watch nearby.
