I really appreciate this deli for going above and beyond for me during a difficult time while I was in the hospital. They were kind enough to help with a special favor, and that level of care meant a lot more than I can say. My daughter also had a turkey sandwich from them, and she said it was the best she's had in a long time fresh, well-made, and really flavorful. Overall, the experience was very good, and I'm grateful for their kindness and quality food. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is just to leave a little room for growth, but I would absolutely return and recommend them. read more

Groucho's is a small sandwich shop that provides a nice experience. They have a variety of sandwiches and are priced fairly. I came on a weekday for lunch. The place was half-full, but it was later in the lunch hour. My server was a nice young lady who greeted me quickly. She got me a soda and took my order, the Reuben. It was delivered quickly. The meat was very tasty, and the sauerkraut and dressing offered nice counterpoints. Honestly, it felt a little small, but that's how many places are controlling price, so I get it. I enjoyed the sandwich. I'll visit again, but maybe not a lot. read more

We were in town for an appointment and had to get lunch. Glad i had a chance to try this place. Very neighborhood feel deli, plenty of room inside and out. A lot to choose from on the menu, The staff were on top of things. Very prompt service. The sandwich was delicious and came out pretty quickly. Was in the area and stopped for lunch. Really solid sandwich for a fair price. Got the STP dipper and got it with provolone instead of Swiss. Normally not a fan of Russian dressing but the formula 45 sauce was very good. Like that they give it to you on the side, and also give you a large amount of it. Definitely a well-portioned sandwich for the price you pay. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again. read more

This place never disappoints! Groucho's Deli in Rock Hill, SC is my go to lunch place! They have the absolute best salads. My favorites are the "Bacon Cheddar Salad" and their famous "My Wife's Salad Bowl" (which is the ultimate salad experience)! Both of these salads are HUGE so you can plan to share or take some home for later! I always order an extra container of salad dressing, because, as I said earlier, their salads are huge! Took the family here after seeing all the great reviews but unfortunately we were very disappointed. We must not have ordered the right stuff. Every sandwich we got was extremely dry as there was no sauce, not even mayonnaise, on any of them. Then when I asked to try their famous sauce, it would be an extra charge. Ok, that's fine, but if you're gonna charge for your side sauces, at least include Mayo on the sandwiches. And the bun for the hot dog for our 4 year old was very tough. First time ordering here and I am very disappointed. I received no cutlery to eat my salad with. I ordered Italian dressing and it is nothing but oil with a little bit of pepper in the bottom. I am not sure how they expect people to eat without silverware (common sense people) not everyone is at home. And please, if all you can afford is one small package of crackers with your salad you should probably leave them off as you look cheap. What possibly is 1 package of crackers going to do for anybody??? So sad. I had great expectations for this place. read more

This place seemed good by all the reviews so my dad and I went not that many people there at 2 pm but I had the white moose and loaded potato soup. The soup wasn't my taste but still good the sandwich was amazing!! Great service. I would come again if I lived closer but you should definitely come here! Excited to try the new grochos location since added more tables. Waited over 15 minutes and no one would take our order even after asking if needing to order in line now vs order at the station. The line for people to pay was at least 10 people and not moving. We finally left when we waited another 5 min and still no drink order. Without a doubt my favorite Deli shop in the Rock Hill and surrounding areas. Service, food quality and value are tip top here. I absolutely love the STP Dipper and Apollo Dipper. The bread and quality of meats are just the absolute best. Their 45 Sauce is great, but it's their Danish Blue Cheese Sauce that makes me weak in the knees. I always have to order extra everytime I visit, so, so good. You simply can't go wrong here whatsoever. I would have never know about Groucho's if Groupon didn't introduce us, so I must thank Groupon for hooking us up. I checked out Groucho's this afternoon and felt like I was back in college since it seemed to be all Wingate kids, except I had no rubber stamp on my hand from the night before and wasn't hungover. Regardless, it was so packed we ended up sitting at the counter facing Cherry Rd and WU campus. I thought the situation would be like a typical deli but turns out it's a sit down kind of place. Service was super quick and friendly, we were greeted right when we sat and had our sandwiches about 5 minutes after we ordered. I got the Brown Moose which was fantastic and you must try the Formula 45 sauce if you go--a nice combo of 1000 Island and French dressing. Funky? Yes. Tasty? Hell yes. Plus they have Dr. Brown's soda which just knocks my socks off so I was pleased with that. They have a lot of sandwiches so it can be overload but they have a decent selection of salads as well. They had a good number of beers and different coffee drinks on the menu (at prices cheaper than Starbucks) Parking in their lot was a bit tight but you could also do street parking if you can't find anything.
