I am absolutely blown away by this sandwich shop. I always hated subway and back in the day I was a Blimpie gal. Wanted to try something new. I was starving so I ordered three mini subs to try. The Bobbie is thanksgiving in a roll. The turkey is so fresh. Not deli sliced turkey. This is the real deal. The only think I wish was added was gravy to dip this magnificent sandwich in. Next up was the wagyu sandwich. Heavenly. The meat was delicate and moist and so flavorful. Finally the tuna mini. It was a good solid sandwich but after the other two, it seemed less extravagant. What I love the most is that they have the sweet peppers that subway got rid of. Jersey Mikes only has banana peppers. I love the sweet pepper strips I used to get. It just keep getting better here! I responded to a FB post to join their VIP club and received a BoGo offer for an 8 inch sub of my choice via FB Messenger. I was out of town so it took me a few days to get back to town and go and redeem the offer in-store. What a great experience from Dom. Love love love their customizable salads. Awesome value! My favorite creation is with lettuce/romaine, Bacon, mushrooms (cooked/raw), GORGONZOLA cheese, cranberries, pecans, white onion, tomatoes, and Raspberry vinaigrette! The half sandwich and half salad is a good deal but i have found a sandwich I really like. I've tried tuna and Italian. I would come back for the salad alone. They make a good ranch dressing. Maybe the Philly cheesesteak or thanksgiving sandwich is the best. Service is always attentive and nice. Restaurant is always clean. Parking is easy to find but good luck crossing the road to leave. read more

Capriottis has made its was to Fort Mill SC and they have a very different take on sub sandwiches. I had very high hopes for Capriottis when I saw info about them opening in the area. I was quickly let down during my visit. First impressions stick and overall we had a rough one. I felt very rushed during the order process and it wasn't a busy time. The staff was very cold and unpleasant. Our food was poorly made and the sandwiches fell apart. The flavor also wasn't there for us. The menu is very different and I'm not sure if these types of sandwiches just aren't for us. I would like to say I would give them another try but I know my family and Capriottis left a very bad taste in their mouth. We've eaten in here 4 or 5 times now. It's pretty small inside but looks like they get more online pickup orders than people actually eating in restaurant. We've tried several different subs and all have been excellent. Even the smallest size is plenty to eat. The fries are wonderful....the small fry is more than enough for 2 people! It's her favorite food and we order one for pickup pretty regularly. Today was the fourth time the sandwich literally MADE HER CRY and while that sounds dramatic -- have you ever met a hangry child? I feel like it's a complete roll of the dice to get what you ordered when you order this sandwich. Will it be real Turkey? Possibly. Will it be a vegetarian cheesesteak that they added lettuce and mayo to because they are completely delulu and didn't think that was weird and maybe they should double check the receipt? Could be! Will it be real Turkey again? Most likely! How about the Cole version covered in crap your kid won't eat? A fun surprise! Easy to find sandwich shop in a growing area. Plenty of parking and there's some outside seating as well. The interior is pretty cool with Edison bulb fixtures and high ceilings. We were greeted right away by a very friendly gentleman who explained the menu and pointed out a few favorites. He showed us the in house roasted and hand pulled turkey which led me to order The Bobbie, their most famous sandwich. Hubby ordered an original Philly and customized his to taste. There is a graphic on the counter to illustrate the size options, but I still wasn't prepared for the big beauty that I ended up with. The Bobbie is truly Thanksgiving in a sandwich. Warm and comforting is how I would describe it. It's a hefty bite for sure and certain to knock you out if you over indulge! Hubby's Philly was just as impressive. He's got a healthy appetite but he was no match for that sandwich that was anything but regular. We both look forward to enjoying the leftovers! If you are looking for your typical sandwich shop, this isn't it. Capriotti's is a unique more upscale option with sizeable portions and high quality ingredients. Confirming what others have already mentioned and it's sad to see that the business owner/manager clearly registered and addressed that issue, but nothing has improved. The proportion between meat and other filling is just off. Wayyyy to stingy on the meat! I even asked the gentleman at the register about this repetitive complaint and his response was "I don't see it that way." Well, when I picked up the sandwich from the counter it already felt suspiciously light. After unpacking it at home my suspicions sadly got confirmed! Barely a couple layers of thin sliced meat and despite the flavor of the sandwich being ok, it just didn't give you the mouthfeel of having a decent amount of meat on it. When you pay $13+ for a small sandwich that is supposed to be somewhat premium, at least be generous with the good stuff! This business will keep collecting one star reviews if they stay on that path and the owner/manager responding to those reviews apologizing and making people write an email is not gonna save the business from being affected by those reviews in the long run. If the way you've been trying hasn't fixed the problem, maybe it's time to try something new and actually put a good amount of meat on a meat sandwich like the whole world expects it! And no, I don't want to give you a second change until you change your mindset. I'd rather take my money back. read more

We have been to Capriotti's 3 times since opening! Each time we have ordered online for pick up and had no issues getting our orders. What we have had: Bobbie (turkey, stuffing, cranberry) - this one is very good, but it has to be hot. We have tried this served warm and cold. The cold is very dry and I would skip that. Italian - love this one and is definitely one of my favorites Chicken Parmesan - it's good - definitely had better, but I still enjoy it. Like that it uses grilled chicken. BBQ Chicken - my husband liked this one, but I did not since I do not like coleslaw, which comes on the sandwich. May give it another go without one day. Kayla and Dom went above and beyond! It was my family's first time visiting and we used an online coupon. Kayla was very kind and explained how to use the coupon and then excitedly told us we could also have a free grilled cheese sandwich for our baby since we were purchasing a regular size sub (a perk we didn't know about!). She also made sure to ask if we needed a water cup for our baby. I was pleasantly surprised, she seemed high school age but was so considerate beyond her years! Our meals were great and Kayla and Dom delivered them right to our table. Dom even brought my son an extra little cup of fries all for himself, and he thought that was so fun! We had the classic cheesesteak, the waygu French dip, fries with chipotle ranch, and the grilled cheese and everything was so tasty. We haven't had this great of food and service anywhere in such a long time, it was so refreshing and for it to come from a chain sandwich shop was just so surprising and sweet, I literally felt like I was being waited on at a high end restaurant. First I will say the staff here are awesome and they work hard. This place reminds me of East Boston where the little hole in the wall sandwhich shops that are totally family oriented make you feel welcome. That welcome feeling is authentic since the first day they opened. I had been counting the day till it opened and I work within walking distance. The day they opened I was right over there ..not realizing it was just friends and family day Seth said to me "dont worry hunnie you come right in". I did and ordered the classic steak & cheese xtra cheese, light on hot & sweet peppers and mayo....it was amazing !! I had my card out to pay and they said again "Oh no hunnie it's on us today! So many ppl review places within the first week and mark down for things that will improve once they've been open longer. 1) Ambience / Decor / Seating - great comfortable space, the flow is clearly defined. Plenty of seating. 2) Customer Service- staff was friendly and helpful and most importantly seemed to enjoy working there. 3) Food. I ordered the Cole Turkey & my husband had the Hot Bob. WOW. First, they are huge so keep in mind that the half is small, the small is medium, the medium is large and the large is extra large. I ordered the small which was too much for me. The bread was soft, the coleslaw was creamy, crunchy and seasoned and the Turkey was fresh and moist. Had a bite of the Hot Bob and it was the very good, the cranberry added just the right touch of sweetness. My husband loved it. Great addition to the area. DO NOT EAT HERE! Had the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered, and they have refused to refund me for an order I never received. It's been 3 weeks and the owner/manager refuses to call back, and has yet to respond to the many reminders the corporate office has left about my refund. This place will steal your money and refuse to even talk with you afterwards. Avoid like the plague. EDIT: Owner responded below and removed all context of the manager being insanely rude for the entire encounter, which eventually led to me storming off and being rude myself. Would love to sit down and watch that video with them. My favorite part would be rewatching the manager yell and point "Sit down", as if I was her child. Two visits. As for the complaints about wait times, service etc. - ehhhhh - the place is brand new! It takes a while for a place to get in a rhythm. Owner/manager was running the register and he was very helpful and friendly. It was busy, but we really didn't wait long to order or get our food. I didn't think the price was crazy high. Lunch with sandwiches, chips, drinks and small tip was just below $30. Unless you're eating off the Dollar Menu, it's hard to get a fresh made lunch for under that now. With all of that said, for me, the sandwiches are good, but not great. They sound great on the menu, but something is just missing. I feel like maybe they need more sauce/condiments maybe? Also, the bread does not taste fresh baked. I'll take Jimmy John's bread any day. Truly, it's not like the sandwiches are bad. They are tasty. Ended up walking next door to get dinner. However I will give them five stars due to the fact that I know owners can't control employees 100% of the time. This was our 2nd time at this location. The first visit was mediocre and we thought we would give it another try. I wish I would have taken a picture of the Capastrami we ordered. It was stuffed with coleslaw and the most pathetic amount of pastrami. We just paid $13 for basically a 10" bread roll with coleslaw on it. My husband and I are very disappointed. We were regulars at Capriottis in Reno, NV and were excited to see one open in Ft Mill. Needless to say, we won't be back.
