Swiss cheese was not even melted on chicken and fried. Chicken was barely warm. Bossy sauce was great fries were barely warm and it was 11:35 am so everything should have been hot !! Terribly disappointed as I drive 15 miles as I had loved my previous experience at the one in Charlotte

My second or third visit still a wonderful staff, great food probably the best fries around and reasonable prices for what you get.

We came here for the Grand Opening in Fort Mill. We waited 3 hours in line to be one of the first 100. After a long and hot wait, we were greeted with warm welcomes from the owner and staff. We ordered The Beaut as a combo and a 1/2lb of chicken wings. We ordered a ranch and a bossy sauce as well. First impression of the food was a tad bit disappointing to be honest-the fries seemed a tiny bit soggy and our Beaut was not very beautiful as it was a mangled chicken breast that barely fit on the bun (but it delicious!) The chicken wings were incredible- even for the price of 4 for $10. One of the owners came by and gave our children a cup of their homemade ice cream which was delicious - the flavor was Carmel today. Overall - in the chaos of the opening day everything was great. We will definitely be back as the location and ambiance is light and fast and the food is delicious! Great job Bossy!

Bossy Beluah's serves up truly delicious food! My meal was incredibly fresh, the service was outstanding, and the location overlooking the park added a relaxing touch to the experience. Definitely worth a visit--you won't be disappointed! The nice times are a nice touch as well!

The fried chicken sandwich was exceptional. The chicken was very tender and the seasoning was so on point.

Awesome chicken but I didn't live the doughy bun. Fries are good. Homemade ranch is fantastic- I would put it on anything.

Ordered the gizzards and 6 spicy chicken wings with honey mustard and some Asian sauce. Opened it right away - the gizzards were not hot and fresh, it was like they were sitting in the bin for a bit too long and luke warm, not crispy hot, I was displeased with them. And to add salt to the wound they gave us regular wings instead of spicy even though it's on the receipt and he even repeated back "spicy / hot" wings to us on the speaker. Total double downer. I wanted to go back to get new order / exchange for fresh gizzards and spicy wings but he did not want to bother. But the wings were also not piping hot yet they were still pretty good. I do like the crispy coating / breading on them. May try them again but double check your order for accuracy. That's why just 3-stars - if food was hot and fresh would be a 4 to 5 star experience because the wingies were good and service was fine. Happy Thanksgiving 2024!! YEEEEE HAAWW!!

It was a bit chilly so we sat inside even though the outside patio was heated. It was a good choice because it was a little breezy. We shared the okra as an appetizer, it was as good as I remembered! They had a special which we both decided was good, surf & turf with NY strip and lobster tail. I also brought a bottle of Freixnet Cordon Negra which was so good! We were a bit disappointed that the steak we ordered as medium rare, came out rare on both our entrees. Overall it was a memorable evening and just what I had hoped for a special occasion!

The setting alone makes this place special -- the river view is stunning and I can imagine it's even better at sunset. Our reservation was for 7:00 pm, so we missed the sunset, but the nighttime view was still great for a date night atmosphere. I started with the she-crab soup and I'm very glad I did -- it was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the meal. My girlfriend ordered the meatballs as her appetizer. They were good, but not a knock-out. After tasting them myself, I'd agree they didn't quite stand out compared to the rest of the meal. For our main course, we both chose the surf and turf and this is where everything really hit. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, and the shrimp served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The shrimp were labeled "blackened" -- they may have been lightly blackened, but either way they tasted great. We both thoroughly enjoyed the entrée. We also ordered a shareable bowl of roasted garlic mashed potatoes, which ended up being a bit disappointing only because we didn't realize our main course already came with a generous portion of the same potatoes. Had we known, we would've ordered something different. That said, our waitress Lisa handled it perfectly -- she agreed she should've mentioned it and had management remove the extra order from the bill. That level of service was very much appreciated and says a lot about the staff and management. We finished the evening with the milk chocolate mousse, served in a decorative edible chocolate/white chocolate bowl -- a really nice presentation and a sweet ending to the night. We paired our meal with a Moscato d'Asti (Codero) which complemented the dinner nicely. Overall, a romantic setting, strong entrées, great service recovery, and a memorable Valentine's dinner. A couple minor misses on appetizers and communication about sides, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. The Pump House is definitely a great choice for a special occasion or date night.
