We ordered the catfish, whiting, chicken, and a kids' chicken tender meal. For sides, we tried the okra, potato salad, and fries. The standout for me was the catfish with the mild seasoning. The flavor was excellent and perfectly balanced. I couldn't taste the seasoning quite as much on the chicken, but it was still good. We also tried the Hot Honey sauce, which added a nice sweet-and-spicy kick. The sides were decent, the portions were satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable. I also noticed they offer daily specials, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a solid spot for fresh seafood and chicken, friendly family-business vibes, and good value.

That's a good sign to say the least. I ordered a chicken tender combo meal to try this place out since everything's good ! I got it hot with fries and a drink. The chicken was great with the homemade ranch dressing. It had just enough heat and yet still great flavor. I took my last chicken finer to my son and it was at the peak of his heat tolerance but he still really enjoyed it. Next time I want to try the seafood. Only downside is the deep fryer smell that lingered in my clothes after being in the restaurant. I think next time I will call ahead and limit my time on the restaurant. With that said, everyone was very friendly from the staff to the customers. Helen's know how to fry up some goodness. O

There was only two people in this very cute restaurant. Lots of table and chairs inside and outside for seating. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to take everything in. They have a counter top where you can see them cutting actual chicken and potatoes for the fries and placing them into what appears to be high pressure deep fryers. This place has been set up to make you the best pieces of chicken you can get. I ordered The Beaut (minus the mayo) a large chicken breast covered in a crispy batter and perfectly deep fried! There was a good amount of pickles with the sandwich, like 4 or 5 which really covered the entire sandwich so you always got a bit of them. The bun was not my favorite. I'm not sure how to describe it. A little smushed is the best way I guess. I also ordered a 6 piece bites package. These things were full on huge chunks of chicken they seasoned and deep fried. I don't normally like to take pictures of food partially eaten but I had to show what one of the bites looked like after taking a bite. They were large, hot and cooked to perfection. I did try some of their BBQ sauce. Not a big fan but it wasn't bad. I also got an order of the skin on hand cut fries! OMG they were so good! They gave me a large bag of hot fries that just totally completed this meal! And I'm talking they should have come with a warning they were so hot! Loved it! As I was waiting for my order to be bagged I notice the large cookies and the glazed hand pies they had on the counter. This isn't like other major food chains so the price is a little higher but you are getting quality food. If you are looking for some good fried chicken and hot fries then I highly recommend this place!

From the service, to the cleanliness, to the level of deliciousness, this place nailed it! I enjoyed the hot honey sandwhich, which I was scared of being too hot, but it wasn't, it was the perfect balance of spice and sweet. My husband enjoyed the buffalo ranch sandwich and we ordered the cheesy bbq sandwich for the kids to split and they devoured it. Now let's talk about the fries....the portion is very respectful. An entire tray for $6 is mind blowing. You can tell they are real and fresh and definitely on my top 2 fry list! Super Chix high five!
