Looking for good, affordable Mexican food in Lancaster? I'd choose this place over nearby…read moreMariachi's any day. Why? The prices are comparably better, the staff is friendly, and the food feels a lot lighter on my stomach than the brick that Mariachi's always seems to deliver. The people that work here are very friendly. My dad goes weekly, sometimes with a friend, and they ALWAYS remember them as well as what they order! Not all of them speak the clearest English, though, but I deem that a seal of authenticity! Don't see exactly what you want on the menu? Ask for it! I usually get a single chicken quesadilla with rice. The plate is always completely full and steaming hot when it reaches me; it's just the right amount of food. And for how much? Something like $4. You can't beat that! My dad usually gets the buffet, which has a bunch of different options. He and his friend even like their wings, which is surprising for a Mexican restaurant. The buffet also comes with a dessert item - sopapilla, a fried tortilla with cinnamon sugar, with optional honey to drizzle on top. If you ask, they will put a scoop of vanilla ice cream to finish it off! :) Their complimentary salsa is DELICIOUS, made fresh, and can vary in spiciness depending on the batch that day. The chips that come along with them are light and crispy. Best ones I've ever had. Overall, if you're a Lancaster resident, I'd recommend you give this place a try. You may just become a regular! EDIT: And to address the naysayers - let's remember here that we're talking about cheap Mexican food in Lancaster, SC. You're not going to get 5-star quality, but that doesn't mean it isn't tasty!

My daughter loves this place, and while I had a taste for something else, I'm glad I agreed to come…read morehere today! Mark was absolutely great & Raina was a very attentive waitress. The food was super fresh and good, and I allowed myself to try new items on the bar. That said, don't judge all of the food you're about to see on our plates. Just as "objects in mirror may be closer than they appear" is stated on side view mirrors, let's apply idea that to our plate(s), respectively lol. The sesame & general tso chicken over shrimp fried rice was very good. How about everything we had was very good, and I'll just name it all below: Shrimp fried rice, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, plantain, crab legs, coconut shrimp, broccoli, crawfish, corn, potatoes...

I will not be returning to Giza Buffet. This place seems to have zero understanding of basic time…read moremanagement when it comes to food...dishes seem like they have been sitting, unmoved for months..., and keeping the buffet stocked and 'fresh' seems like an afterthought. On top of having to wait around for basic food items, most of the staff members are so rude and unbothered that it makes for a completely unpleasant experience. There are far better places to eat in Rock Hill where you don't have to deal with cold...empty stations and bad attitudes. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Located inside an old chair, this place was amazing! Cool,…read morecasual yet elegant, service was outstanding and the food was really delicious and fresh. We came for brunch and they almost had to roll us out of there. They passed around oysters, shrimp cocktail and grilled pineapple with honey. Three different food stations: meat, vegetable and shrimp skewers was one; your choice of southern ham (prosciutto basically) or crab cake eggs benedicts was the second one and the third one I don't remember (mostly because I didn't quite make it there). In the middle they had lobster deviled eggs, assorted tea sandwiches and a small section with desserts. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Yes, it's expensive but so well worth it!! Parking can be an issue but the good thing is, you can walk off a little of everything that you ate so that's a win!

It wasn't worth the price tbh for brunch. I will update my review or make a new one if we go to…read moredinner and maybe that was our mistake. $78 per person from brunch wasn't that great. They barely brought around food like the French toast bites. They kept bringing around oysters and literally no table wanted them that I saw. It wasn't that busy either, tons of empty tables. Instead they held off the arguably best dish of the house: French toast bites. We FINALLY got them at the end of our meal before we left but had to stalk the waiter for them. For $78 there should be way more rotations of the better dishes. Our waiter was great and atmosphere is gorgeous. Playing, food quality and everything was average. The highlight was the poached eggs, eggs Benedict, bacon, potatoes, skewers and everything else was okay. Not better than like Golden Corral or a standard buffet. My opinion is skip the brunch for that price, unless you really like oysters LOL. Also if I had little kids, would never waste money on brunch here.
