My Son Ben told me about taking his 4 kids here and how much they liked it. Then I heard/read where they had some unfavorable food inspections results. Today, I decided to go and determine for myself. I took a photo of their 'A' rating by the SC State Inspectors. I found the place to be very clean. There were actually employees dusting and cleaning while I was there for lunch on a Sunday. When you enter, check-in with the seating hostess. They will bring you a beverage and explain how things work. There will be someone assigned to your table to answer questions and bring additional beverages. You can also pay that person or check-out at the entrance/exit. There is a massive amount of food. I didn't try any of the sushi options but they had a lot. I had the salt/pepper shrimp which was not good. I had the crawfish which was not good. I had the Korean beef which was very good as was the Baow Buns and Shu Mai. The bbq ribs were cold, even though I got there just after 11am when they open. They also have a nice selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. My favorite was the hot and sour soup, it was very good. You can also opt for the Hibachi style where you pick your entree and they cook it on the grill for you. The place is massive with multiple large rooms. They advertise over 150 items on their buffett. It's well lit and they pipe in happy K-Pop music. At $23.85, better bring your appetite and you'll pay by the pound for your 'go box'. If you're 65 or over you will receive a 10% discount with your ID. I noticed quite a few Asian families, dining in and taking out. Very large free parking area.

Cold crab legs ! Good but served on ice ..

Heard on the radio this restaurant had a horrible health record review recently. Make sure you check it out before you go. It sounded really bad. Really really bad.

Over priced bland large selection of the worst food I've tasted I went for the seafood but the crab legs taste like they boiled it in mop water the crawfish just sitting in brown hot soup and when you open the tail it turns to mush. The fried fish was dry as a bone with no seasoning. The waitress asked me if I needed anything not once. I had to stop the waitress to get a refill and my last refill she took my drink away another one came with the check. I should have read the parking lot and went to Texas Roadhouse across the parking lot I will never eat there again

The food here is always amazing!! You can see how fresh the food is just from the steam that flys off the buffet!!! Mark and Michelle are amazing individuals here who always care for the customer!!! Everyone in this building is amazing and does a phenomenal job at making you feel at home!!!! 10/10 if you haven't been or want the best around come here for sure !!!!!!

Having past by this location many times , it has been difficult to tell by the crowds or cars in the parking lot due to the trees in front if they are open or busy. This is in front of the Rock Hill Galleria mall. Since Covid many buffets were closed. This was no exception. One day I made it a mission to seek this place out and try everything which was offered. The parking lot was half full. The food was well stocked and the restaurant guest were very busy at the buffet. Since this is a buffet. People will generally be in and out pretty quickly. I guess they have about 300 chairs so the tables rotate very quickly. I have added a few pics of a variety of food but they have so much more. They kept the food fresh and rotated on the food bar the entire time. Best buffet in town. Service was very friendly and removed all plates quickly. I would definitely recommend to everyone. It's a very good value for the largest selection of food to choose from. Looking forward to the next visit. NcFoodguy

We saw a post for this buffet and I've been dying to go to see what the hype is about. I've been to a few buffets in Columbia and I have a favorite so I wanted to see if this could top it. Sadly it didn't but if you have a certain taste for something, definitely try this out. This is the only one I've been to that has crab legs so If you want that and crawfish, this is definitely your spot. They do also have a way better sushi station than most with rolls, nigiri and sashimi options. There were some things they didn't have that I wanted which was different types of chicken options (I like honey chicken at blossom) and they didn't have coconut shrimp . But they had everything else I typically love at the buffet. Their egg rolls were filling and pretty good with a nice crunch. They had these sesame balls that had a mochi like consistency that I really enjoyed as well. They actually have pork steam buns and shumai that other buffets dont have and they also have a lot of americam options for picky customers and kids. The restaurant itself looked pretty clean and they have a beautiful lobby/waiting area. The pond with Koi fish was so pretty to look at. I'd give it a 6/10 tbh.

Came here thinking it might still be Ambers but it's now Ginza which turns out to be delicious too. We were greeted and seated fast and headed straight to the bars. They have so much to choose from even during lunch that we went back and forth a few times. The egg drop soup mixed with wonton was delicious, the shumai was also very good. The fried calamari was amazingly tender and flavorful, salmon and fried fish were good along with the cheesy crab. Most of the things I tried were good but the sweet and sour was a little different than what I'm used to at my local Chinese restaurant. I'll need to come back a few more times to actually see what all is good and not but almost everything was worth eating.

Well, it went from being decent to ...maybe I'll be back for soup and crab legs if I'm antsy and in the area. Quick quality drop.

The presentation on the food is consistent and extremely appetizing. Food comes out hot and usually on their red and black designer bowls and plates. If your table orders several sushi rolls they have these decorative platters (some shaped like a wooden boat and some shaped like an ornate disc) that are almost too beautiful to eat. I say "almost" because there is no way anyone could leave a single grain of rice unattended at our table! It's definitely a breath of fresh air from how overcrowded other restaurants in the area can feel. My husband had their sirloin bento and I had the tofu hibachi bowl. The rice was cooked perfectly and we loved how thinly sliced the vegetables were. We will definitely be back!

The staff is great and adds an authentic touch to the atmosphere with the unique headbands they wear The food hits the mark every time. The Crunchy Roll is great, and the heavy crunch layered on top makes it stand out. I also ordered the Atomic Roll, which was perfectly executed. Overall, Konnichiwa offers great food at decent prices, making it a top-tier option for a quick pickup.

It was a little dark though it was more quiet than the sunlit front. I ordered the Old Town Cobb and my husband ordered the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and a Caesar salad. The focaccia croutons in the salad were out of this world delicious and different. Their flavor of the croutons burst in our mouth. The meatloaf's presentation was superb. Hubby said he would order meatloaf again. I had a bite and it was crispy and smoky tasting. My husband ordered 2 beers and the bill was under $50 which we thought was a good value. Pros: water served in glass tumblers. Menu is very creative. Food is really delicious. Location. Plenty of other spots to grab a coffee, tea or hot chocolate while walking around Main Street after eating. Cons: tomatoes under ripe in Cobb salad. Caesar salad dressing was more sweet than anticipated. Depending when you come, parking will be challenging if a person is unable to walk. Parking is generally plentiful around downtown Rock Hill within a short walk. Verdict: Both dishes were good. Would come back and would order them again.

On the menu for today I chose the Blue plate Special ($23) OG, bacon wrapped meatloaf, swirl potatoes, veggie du jour, stewed, collards, steakhouse, vinaigrette, cilantro Crema. The dish was Tender medallions of meatloaf, wrapped in savory bacon. Topped with a steakhouse vinaigrette, tangy, and savory, which had an amazing flavor by itself, I just wish it added more to the main. Which was slightly bland. Unfortunately, this cilantro Crema had no hints of cilantro. The actual star of the show is the collard greens. The Collard greens has a subtle kick, which is amazing and flavorful, and gives that little extra punch. Hand slammed fries ($5) Parmesan - rosemary dusted, roasted tomato malt vinaigrette. Tasty especially with their house made ketchup, but unfortunately, the fries were a little on the soggy side. And a Blake's cider (5). crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a southern Carolina afternoon. Overall, food was delicious, but could use just a hint of attentions to flavor. I would definitely recommend you give Kounter a try. I would love to come back here again and try some more of their menu. Follow me on Yelp and Instagram @noodlesoupr as I travel the world in search of delicious food encounters.
