So delicious. I got the veggie korma and chili naan. There were so many intriguing options. I didn't know what to get. I feel like the mushroom Marsala would've been great too. The prices were good. Most meals were under $20 and most drinks were under $10. This restaurant is close to most hotels in fort mill. It is one of the best Indian restaurants I've had. There was plenty of seating and Indian music videos were playing. Staff was nice and very fast.

I was highly impressed with this Indian restaurant. First off, the food came out swiftly. They have different heat levels and the waiter warns you about each one. Place wasn't busy at all but had much staff working. Many food options available as well.

My family recently visited my daughter's college in Rock Hill and decided to try Persis Indian Grill in Fort Mill, since we enjoy their location in Columbia, South Carolina. We were not disappointed. Persis Indian Grill, in Fort Mill South Carolina, is located in a small shopping center that offers an array of parking spots that include a variety of handicap spots that are located in front of the restaurant. Once opening the Persis's door, the aroma of Indian spices smothered me with excitement. The restaurant offers lunch from Monday- Friday: 11 am - 2:30 pm and Saturday-Sunday 11:30am- 3pm. Dinner is from 5pm - 9:30pm Monday - Thursday, on Friday - Saturday 5pm -10pm, and on Sunday 5:30pm - 9pm on Sunday. I would recommend going to lunch or dinner once the restaurant opens, because Persis tends to get busy, since there is not a ton of seating. Even though there is limited seating, they do offer tables for those with disabilities. In addition to their wonderful authentic Indian food Persis also has a full function bar that offers an array of cocktails, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. My family ordered a side of Garlic Naan bread, Shaam Shavera Kofta, Kaju Malsa, and Korma; all of the entrees come with a side of rice. Although the prices are pricey, ranginging from $10 - $25, one will not be disappointed. The portion sizes are larger than the average restaurant and the flavor of the food is authentic. You can tell Persis puts love and care into every dish they serve. Two aspects I enjoy about Persis is that they offer an array of vegetarian options and one can choose their spice level of their entree ranging from baby - extremely hot. If going to Persis for the first time I would suggest ordering the baby spice level to see how your taste buds interact with the spices. However, if your dish is too spicy for you to eat, the staff does not have a problem bringing you a new dish because they truly care for their customers. In addition to their delicious food the restaurant was extremely clean without any visible dirt throughout the dinning hall and restroom. If you are in the Fort Mill area and want to try authentic Indian food, I recommend trying Persis Indian Grill.

Updating my review since my post from 4 years ago. Ordered to-go for Cashew curry and Kadhai paneer along with butter rotis. Cashew curry was decent but kadhai paneer was very bad. It seemed there was more added color than taste. Food taste at this place as deteriorated over the years. Food price has gone up and quality has gone down here. Also butter was missing from butter rotis. Will have to reconsider if I would come back here or not. Overall 3/5 .

Persis is a pretty complete Indian restaurant. Large choice of Appetizers and Entrees and both vegetarian and meat dishes. Love the Samosa and the Fried Okra sticks were incredible. We had a big party . Lots of Butter Chicken. Tandoori Chicken. Tandoori Paneer, lots of Naans. Only thing the need to work on is service -- Not much clearing of the plates or refilling of water or drinks , but you cannot forget how good the food is !!!

Another great review for this place! We absolutely love eating at Persis We got some of our tried and tested dishes from the menu and savored every bite. Love it.

Writing my review as I munch on leftovers but oh my gosh. This place is so yummy. So glad there's a place where I can get my curry fix right in town. We had a party of 9 and a child. Some of our group hasn't had Indian food before but throughout enjoyed their meal. Everything we got was delicious. GARLIC NAAN BREAD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I got my usual Tikka Masala and it was yummy. My cousin got the Korna and we all agreed it was so good. I'll probably get that next time and recommend it to people.

My parents got a paper masala dosa and enjoyed it. I split a spring dosa, chole puri (they were out of bathura), and a Manchurian roll with my husband and brother. We could not eat the spring dosa because it was way too spicy for both me and my brother, but my husband could handle the heat. My kids were still hungry after the dosa and I got them an order of idli. The mango lassis are some of the best I've had recently! The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The Malabar parotta and mutton biryani (made with zeera samba rice) were a pleasant surprise. It came with raita and kurma- brought back fond memories of Tamil Nadu. The mango fish curry was finger-licking good, but the crab pepper masala was just okay. The person who brought out the food(I believe he was the chef) was very polite and professional. The bill came to around $90 including tip. Although I felt the food was slightly overpriced, the quality of the food, ambience, and service made it worth every penny. I'd definitely come back again, especially on a Sunday to try their live appam and paya.

Our regular appetizer at $13.99. Many servers are not well-versed in making English translations of dishes, so do not be shy to ask for clarification from other employees. Also, spiciness in terms of heat are set as none, mild, medium and hot. On a scale of 5, with 5 being very hot, we go for a 2 or three, mostly sticking on mild. The kitchen can go overboard, so if it is too hot for you, speak up. We usually split a large bottle of Indian lager beer. There are about 6 varieties available. India does make good lager beers at $5 - 8 per bottle. Another appetizer that I have as a main is the most delicious Pitapuram Prawns Vepudu ($17.99), at mild spice level. A super yummy dish of sauteed shrimp, eight medium sized that you have to cut in half to eat, cooked with onions and green bell pepper in a unctuous gravy, as in rich tasting, of severe flavor. I mean severe to be intense, not ucky. The Okra Masala ($13.99) is a stew of okra with onions and spices, which is delicious mixed, as we like it, with white rice, at medium spice level. We eat whatever is left over for lunch the next day. Bullet Naan ($4.99) is covered with bits of chilies, going well with the curries and stew-like dishes. To control the spicy heat and rescue my tongue, I regularly order a Mango Lassi ($3.99). This is a very nice, smooth, tasty with tang yogurt drink. Try one for your table so you all can try it. Water and beer do not "refresh" the spice...milk and yogurt does. The Asian-Indians eat later, beginning at 8pm.
