Not a fan, especially this location. They messed up the most simple order the other day with no other customers in the store but myself! I didn't realize it until I left since I got it to go. Overall, the sandwich is bland and the bread wasn't the freshest tasting. I would skip this chain if you want a decent sandwich, it's not worth $15 for a mediocre medium sandwich combo! Plenty of better tasting options around that provide good service. Update: the owner reached out asking me to talk with the manager which is humorous considering I already went through that channel on the corporate site. First and last time trying this restaurant. I got the New York sub and ended up throwing half of it away; the meat had a bunch of tough gristle spots that were not edible. The only complaint I have is for the prices because I paid $18 for a large combo - I know it's a large but I was hungry, I usually pay $13 for a medium combo (why so expensive firehouse subs!!). So this newest location is found in the Waverly shops on Providence Rd. On the same end of the property as Starbucks just a bit further back. It's a clean and very nice store. The line had five or more employees working so the process of getting a sandwich " should" be fast ... "should" however being the one word that would suggest something but it just was not happening . The employees are all lethargic and seemed unhappy . No one had energy or urgency to serve. The entire process felt painful. It's as though they all seemed to wish they weren't there. The employees serious expressions had neither joy or concern for the pace in which all the customers standing around waiting were being inconvenienced. Walked in and ordered 2 large sandwiches. Waited quite a long time, and 2 others customers that ordered after me received their sandwiches before me. Seemed to focus on the web and phone orders before mine. One of the employees scolded a customer for not wearing a mask properly, so I was put off by that. Once I received the order, I should have checked it. After I drove home and unwrapped it, I discovered that one of the sandwiches was completely wrong. I called and spoke to the manager, and although he apologized, he didn't offer to fix things the next time I came in. I didn't have time to drive back and have them make me a new one and explained that to him, but he just said sorry again and that was that. I had an incredibly poor experience with this establishment. I had purchased firehouse subs before but not from this location, and I will not be returning. I decided to go for lunch here with my friend. We enter (both wearing masks) and the employees of the establishment immediately gave us dirty looks and were not even attempting to look like they were wearing their masks correctly. Secondly, when we approached the counter the gentleman taking our order was extremely rude. When we were trying to order he kept interrupting us to talk to his friend and kept not listening to what we were saying. We were taken aback by this but decided to carry on and when we sat down we heard the employees talking about us in a rude manner, calling us "fat a**es" and that they "hope we never get food here again" trust me, we won't! 1 star. read more

Where do I start. I ordered the large cajun chicken and figured I'd take the rest home for my brother. Well I didnt because it was so good I ate the whole thing. The chicken was so tender and the cheese was so flavorful. Their drink machine is also top notch. They had anything you can think of. But what was even better than the food was the service. Was very disappointed with this place because I enjoy their philly cheese steak sub. Found the high school kids that were there very rude and apathetic, unhelpful and very unenthused. The whole time we were reading the menu and when they were making our sandwich they kept whispering, smirking and laughing amongst themselves. One girl had a side ponytail over her shoulder while she was making our food which didn't seem sanitary. Didn't even see one manager around. Very clean. We come here often and it's always great! Delicious subs with fresh ingredients. They are incredibly friendly, but you might have to wait a couple of extra minutes. It's definitely worth it though. After a couple of frustrating times waiting a long time in a fairly empty restaurant, we went back again today and were pleasantly surprised that we only waited 5 minutes for our subs and it was pretty busy! This location is AWFUL!!! I ordered them by postmates 3 times and I spent almost $100 each time. I clearly didn't learn from the first experience because I kept giving them chances. EVERY sub was WRONG!! They barely put any toppings and the toppings I requested 2 times on each sub to be taken off was not only on the sub but drenched and then taken off of the subs I never asked to be changed. After this 3rd time of mess ups I called and spoke to a very RUDE and UNHELPFUL manager who said there was nothing he will or could do!! That is BULL, he is a manager and can't help?!?
