Slow service, bread is hardly eatable only a few slices of turkey and didn't even have it on the whole sandwich. Typically my dad's favorite place to eat in town for lunch but it was so bad he said he will not be going back again. SAD. I ordered a 6 inch sub with roast beef (I asked for it thinly sliced - NO MEAT OR CHEESE WAS SLICED IN FRONT OF ME - like previous reviews stated) with Swiss cheese, Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and red onions. I took one bite into it and couldn't bite through it. So I opened the sandwich to find the thickest grossest looking meat I have ever seen in my life. I had to take all the meat off because it was inedible. I won't be back - sad because I love a hole in the wall small business but it just was not good. read more

This was just ok for me. The inside is simple & very clean. They had a special for a 4" sub, soup & drink for a reasonable price (can't remember price or if a side came as well). You can have any sandwich with this deal- which is a nice switch from other place which limit you to one or so! The staff was very friendly & bust setting up since it was around 11-11:30 when I went in. They have a good variety of sandwich choices which I believe you can also make into a wrap The bread was fresh with a slightly crispy crust, but I think he smooshed mine to heck because after sandwich was made and I got it home it was almost all crust. No inside breading to be seen. Which I don't like way to much. But a little more than what I got. I didn't take any pictures as I was feeling awkward in there with the 2 occupied booths watching me like I am not a regular. My negatives are just a personal preference really so don't let that discourage you from trying them! Bread insides missing Only ONE soup choice - potato, I here it's awesome but I would've enjoyed a choice of at least one more. I think that's the only soup they serve. Would love to see a broccoli cheese, chili, chicken noodle, vegetable, minestrone. Anything to give a selection! Limited chip selection- I have an addiction with eating sour cream lays with my subs- no sour cream available at all! And if I'm eating a fat sub I don't want Baked chips! Give me the good old greasy hand chips! I would like to see a sub with ALL the meats on it. Positives (besides previous mentioned in beginning) they slice their meats as ordered-sometimes not a nice even slice like one of my cheese slices was missing about 1/4 of the slice- but WAY better than pre-measured/weighed portions like a national food chain we know! Great array of topping selection- don't remember seeing pickle spears, only slices. So there's a suggestion, if I missed it, then sorry I mentioned it SUGGESTION: besides having a second choice daily that varies on the soup. I would like to suggest a sandwich- a bits & pieces sub. You use all the eve pieces of your deli meats! Yes you chop them up & mix together. This of course would be a limited quantity & availability item. But you will be using it up for profit! You could advertise it as that days daily special (while quantities last) ! And as you know it could be used chopped up in a wrap or a mega Chef salad! Not quite sure why I had mustard squishing out of my sandwich when I asked for very little mustard and twice I had asked to have my bread cut as it turned out there was not a balance between the bread and what was in the sandwich. Very good local sub shop in Lancaster, SC. They have a good choice of meats and also offer special meats from time to time. Also will have soups and stews such as chili beans. First of all the employees were shouting to each other what they wanted on their sandwiches while they were making ours. The " toasted" option was just melted cheese. I got mine toasted twice and it was still cold. The other people in my party, even though we had already paid, had to wait for theirs until mine was finished for absolutely no reason so they got even colder "toasted" sandwiches than I did. So, I have visited this place often and normally it is great. But tonight my husband ordered me a salad and was paying as I walked in the door. Normally they put the dressing on the side in little cups but for some reason today they did not, they put it on the salad. Which, isn't always a bad thing except it was swimming in dressing to the point I could not even eat the salad. I literally did not eat one bite, I got a bag and took it home so my husband could eat tomorrow. So, that was $7 dollars for me to continue to starve. So just make sure you like a lot of dressing or ask for it on the side. read more
