I eat here five to six days a week. Jodi and Kristie are amazing cooks. The wait staff, Debbie, Jamie and Jeanie are super nice and very good at keeping you in coffee and whatever else you need. I have never had bad service or food here. I'm glad they finally stopped the up charge on the eggs. I highly recommend you stop in and taste some of Jodi's cooking and Kristy cooks awesome also. Slow service. Waitress cleaned a table with no one there. We waited at least 5 minutes before our table was cleaned. A different waitress delivered our food. Also, refilled our coffee. Went to men's bathroom to wash hands. Sticky floor, no paper towels (or broken dispencer), and very little water flow at urinal. Our first time time here. I will be back she said 10 minutes later we are still listening to the waitress complain about everything but we have not even ordered. It is not the food or the restaurant. We weren't expecting to see this in York, but happy that we did. Staff was super-friendly and the space was clean. Expect a diner/waffle house feel. The menu is pretty extensive. I was only expecting to find breakfast items, but they have so much more than that. My husband tried the peanut butter pancakes that were seasonal or new. I had a loaded turkey sausage biscuit. He loved the pancakes and they were a huge size. Mine was a layer of hash browns with biscuits and sausage covered in white gravy. It was breakfast in a bite. It was tasty. We had sat down at a table our waitress who was the only waitress brianna had a big attitude while taking our drinks.After she had given us our drinks the manager stared at our table and went and sat down with 2 men flirting and joking around with them knowing tables needed to be waited.Then the cook was sitting at a table eating food for a while.Once he had finished eating he didn't wash his hands before putting gloves on.The manager had to tell him how to make an egg.Finally the waitress came to take our food order and still had an attitude.While we were waiting for our food the cook sat my turkey on the counter not even wiping it off no plates underneath or anything.My friends order a chicken bowl with cheese and bacon.They didn't get either of those on their bowls.The waitress then proceeded to talk about customers and previous workers to the manager which I find very un professional.The cook had to ask the manager on multiple occasions do we have bacon do we have chicken do we have cheese sticks.the food was ok but the time it took to get our food was ridiculous the customer service was terrible.I wouldn't recommend going there. read more

This place can be very expensive for breakfast. 4 of us went for breakfast including 1 child and total bill was over $70. Be careful if ordering extra ingredients for hash browns. Server asks if you want to add to your hash browns and so you think that sounds good and ask for different thing. Shocker when you get the bill! Each ingredient cost over $1 and you end up paying as much for them as you would a meal.I should also add that the serving size of hash browns is about half what you would get at Waffle House or any other breakfast restaurant read more

Walked in and waited by the door to be seated. three tables were available,but were waiting to be cleaned after 10 mins of standing a server got it done, walked to our "wet "table and noticed trash on the floor . Took ten minutes for our drink order. We ordered our simple meal, after 50 minutes of waiting I gave up and walked out , shouldn't take that long to get an omelette lol , they only had six tables to provide for due to covid. We noticed multiple online orders being picked up. The cook definitely doesn't know how to multitask . we used to frequent the restaurant, but it been in a sad decline. Hopefully a hardees will take the place of this badly ran establishment. WONT BE BACK read more

Horrible horrible service! Waitress took our order and after 30 minutes, we asked if our food would be coming up soon because couple that came in after us were already eating their food. Waitress said yep, food is about ready. A couple sitting next to us said they waited over an hour for their food and doesnt seem to be an order that they cook the food in. After an hour of waiting I stood up and looked at the grill and there was no food cooking. i went up to cook and asked if they've even started our food yet (which was only eggs which is about easiest thing to cook) and she said she didn't have an order! Apparently waitress never printed or gave cook our order, so we left. Avoid this place as totally incompetent and unclean staff! read more

I travel all over South East every week, GA,SC, AL, NC, TN. All meals in restaurants. For breakfast I judge all places by this Huddle House. I can expect good food, friendly staff and no surprises. I loveeee this place! Me and my grandmother and her boyfriend go in a decent amount, the food is amazing and the waitresses are so nice! The tables are always extremely clean and if you ever need anything, the waitresses are always quick to provide it. My only issue is that it's always freezing cold in there, so I'd suggest bringing in a jacket to wear. Other than that, this is one of the best restaurants in York in my opinion. read more

My sausage was so cold and hard that when we dropped it on the floor it woke the baby up. And when we got there she said she put syrup on top of the bag.... THE SYRUP WAS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG UPSIDE DOWN SPILLED EVERYWHERE. I never wanted to smack a b**ch so bad broski. To make a long story short. I came in not expecting much. It wasn't very busy when I pulled up so my first thought was "they must not be too good if they are this dead at 5 o'clock". I could not have been more wrong. Walking in I was greeted by everyone there, most memorable was Rebecca. Her smile was immediately uplifting. She was also my waitress. She came over just radiating happy energy and you could tell she was happy to be there. I was given my silverware and a few napkins, had my order taken and not longer thanabout 7 minutes later my food was at my table piping hot!! Amazing service from the girls - they are all so sweet!
