I have been wanting to try this place for several months and luckily happened to be in RH around lunch. The food- I got the Capital Dog and the Fiesta dog. Capital dog is pictured below with the pretzel bun. Fiesta dog is resplendent with corn. Both were delicious. You have to start with the Capital dog. The quality of ingredients was fresh and top quality. The dog had perfect texture, flavor and was well cooked. The Fiesta dog was like a party for the tastebuds. The mixture of sweetness from the corn, savory cheese sauce and onions were punctuated by sharp little bites of heat from sauce or maybe peppers? The Place- looked very professional. Imagine a Dean and DeLuca that specialized in unique sodas, chips and other sundries. There were many items in there that I am confident can not be found anywhere else in NC or SC. I saw some HERR's baby back rib chips that hope to get back to visit. I forgot to get a milkshake but hear they are delicious. I also was dog focused, but the pizza looked good. Parking is available in about 5-6 spaces up front and I think this is more of a carry out place. I spoke to the owner - was very impressed. He is focused on excellence and it shows. He has been awarded a Heinz 'Black Kitchen Initiative' award. The place looked clean and he made me feel welcome! I hope you get to enjoy Surefire, I am definitely headed back to get my Milkshake and Pizza!

The sweetest, most entertaining bunch, I HIGHLY recommend this company. This was my first time having chow chow and thank goodness I wasn't wearing socks because it changed my life, let it change yours! Try it on a burger, hot dog, collard greens, and some chicken. You can literally put this stuff on anything and it would taste better, elevate the flavors and make you wanna smack a momma! It's good y'all! Incredibly good! I had my very picky 8-year-old try it and he's needed the motivation to try it but once he did it was over, he is in love and I have to buy 3 more jars lol my 10 year old found them while we were wandering around at pride and finished a 1/4 of the jar before we got back to the car. It's simple, buy a jar. Try it. You won't regret it. They are accepting of all people, making dangerously delicious chow chow and best of all they have impeccable customer service!

It had mixed greens, spinach, grapes, apples, strawberries, walnuts, and goat cheese. What it had was a whole lot of salad and a whole lot of not much else. I've seen that there isn't much of a storefront so I opted for the drive-thru. I ordered a variety of dogs to include the Southwest, the Rueben, the Palmetto Smoker, and the Carolina Popper. The dogs came out after about 5 minutes of waiting in the drive-thru. After getting home, I immediately opened the spread and looked at the dogs. The photos I saw online gave it more justice as I was underwhelmed from looking at the dogs. All the dogs tasted good but it was just good. With the place not being servirle orientated, you would expect more emphasis to be placed on the food but I didn't really feel that. More focus seems to be on loading up toppings rather than making a real quality dog that you would even enjoy void of toppings. All in all, I knew I had to try the depot but I don't feel like coming back and I don't think you'd be "missing out" if you don't make your way here.
