Tried the 'on-line' order option for the first time and it worked great! You ever just have a craving for a cheeseburger? They have a good one! A double with LTM & a slice of Swiss!

I was craving a chili cheese dog, I searched for it on Yelp and this place came up. I love that they offer a variety of styles and also dogs. I ordered their beef coney and BBQ Bacon dogs. They were DELICIOUS! So good that I decided to order again the next day. I decided to try their turkey depot and Chicago dogs. The Chicago dog is my new favorite! I love this place!

Very good hot dogs and well worth the shirt drive from Charlotte. The service was friendly and helpful to a first time guest. I wasn't prepared for a drive through only but they have plenty of parking to pull over and enjoy the food while it's hot. I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in the Charlotte area.

Didn't catch the name of the young lady running the drive thru, but she was amazing. So friendly and truly seemed like she enjoyed her job which is very rare to find these days. I got two of the depot hot dogs, they were good but I'll be honest, wasn't anything too special abt them to make them stand out. I did really like the soft hun however. I would go back and try some of the other dogs because they all sounded delish. I got the strawberry cake as well.

The service was fast and welcoming, food always comes out hot and made to order. Homemade ranch is a good option for dipping sauce.

Just visited for the first time and it was delicious! I got their hot honey brat and it was so good! I also got to try what my two brothers ordered as well. They got a cheeseburger and a corn dog and they were both really good! We also got a side of fries and tater tots! The price is great too! Over all everything was delicious and I will definitely be back here! Next time I think I will have to get a cheeseburger!

I was extremely excited! I was anticipating a nice juicy beef hotdog with chili! The chili does not taste good and the beef hotdog was flavorless too. Very disappointing! Maybe it will get better. Sam's Club here I come!

The Depot (Sausage dog), double cheese burger, fries, Tots, FM'er

We visited the hot dog depot after my niece recommended it to us. We got a pimento hot dog, a sausage dog with chili/slaw, a double cheese burger, fries and tots. A spread! We enjoyed it a lot. Everything was hot and tasty. I would go back again and again!

That was the worst Frank I ever had took one bite and threw it in the garbage. The fries were greasy. The soda was flat will never return.

According to the server, we received a smaller than normal order of pork rinds. Which wasn't that big of a deal because it literally looked like they opened the bag of gas station pork rinds and poured them onto a tray with seasoning. Fries were brought out later, but they were cold. The charcuterie board was good for quantity, but my mouth quickly got tired of the flavors. Everything seemed crazier than it needed to be, and none of the sauces really stood out. In fact, all of them were sweeter than I had expected. Oh yeah, when I ordered a Bud Light with a glass, the glass was dirty. So the food was definitely an under achieving moment. Next, the server was actually nice and the ambience was great. It's a smart looking establishment . But you don't go to a restaurant for the looks, you go for the food and in that regard, I was decidedly underwhelmed.

But it seems we had three large families walked in shortly before us. So the wait staff was stretched thin but the manager and our waitress both apologized for any delay. Once we got seated and our drink orders taken things moved more swiftly. The restaurant itself was nice. Lots of tables and booths also a big bar you can sit at including a large outdoor area. To start we got a sweet tea and I tried one of their spiked milkshakes! The sweet tea was just right and the milkshake was very good. A nice hit of alcohol in it with real chucks of ice cream! As usual for me, I had to try the Chicken and waffle sandwich! There were pieces of bacon in the batter that made the waffle and a large piece of deep fried chicken. The sandwich ate a bit dry so I asked for some syrup to pour over the waffle. It did come with a maple aioli but I just prefer regular syrup. The hand cut fries were thick but hot and fully cooked. Very good! My mom ordered the build your own burger instead of getting one of their many signature burgers. Her meal came thick and stacked and juicy! An amazing looking burger and she loved the onion strings. Next time I go back I think I wanna try The Wanderer burger because it looks very good! We also ordered a burger to go for my dad and our waitress was so good, she put the order in as our meals came out, so when we finished the togo burger came out and it was super hot! Amazing service! Fun place to eat with lots of options! Check it out!

Ashley was our server and she was amazing -- very attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. She really made the experience even better. We started with the pork belly skewers topped with ranch, BBQ, crushed cashews, and pickled red onions -- 10/10. Huge portion and packed with flavor. The balance of sweet, tangy, and crunchy was perfect. The chicken Caesar sandwich was sooo good. It's a massive sandwich with a crispy chicken cutlet topped with Caesar salad, pickled red onions, and chickpeas. Fair warning: it's a little hard to eat because of the size, but completely worth it. The dressing leans more vinegar-forward than creamy, which I personally loved. I'd honestly order it again just as a salad. The truffle parm fries were another 10/10 -- loaded with parmesan and full of flavor. The stout braised beef melt was amazing. Tons of meat and the flavors blended together perfectly. Definitely a standout. The pub chips with added Cajun seasoning were okay -- not bad, just nothing super special compared to everything else. As longtime fans of their previous food truck, we're so impressed with what they've grown into as a restaurant. It's clear they've kept the quality while elevating the whole experience. We'll absolutely be back!

came from Charlotte to try Elk Ave Tavern after seeing a TikTok food review claiming it had one of…read morethe "top five cheesesteaks," so I went in with pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, I left feeling very disappointed. I ordered the cheesesteak, which was the main reason for my visit, and it just didn't live up to the hype. The bread was soggy, the meat was very small diced instead of the ribeye-style cuts you'd expect from a good cheesesteak, and the cheese tasted more like Kraft than anything premium. Overall, it was very bland and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. For $18 and about a 20-minute drive, I honestly expected much more. On the positive side, the Brussels sprouts were amazing -- easily the standout item from my visit. They were flavorful and cooked really well. The fries were fine too, but fries are fries and it's hard to mess those up. The staff were very nice and attentive, and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself is a small, quaint place located in downtown Rock Hill across from the public library. I didn't have trouble parking, but it was around 12:30 on a Wednesday and the lot and nearby street parking were both pretty full, so I could see it being tighter during busier times. I also noticed this location used to be called Sweet Tea back around 2020 when they served chicken and waffles, so it was interesting to see how the space has changed. The menu overall isn't very large, and since I mainly came for the cheesesteak and it didn't meet my expectations, I don't see myself returning. In my personal opinion, Cheat's Cheesesteak Parlor still has the best cheesesteak in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. I really wanted to love this place, but based on this visit, it just didn't deliver for me.

For the last few visits, I've gravitated to "Kim's Honey Chicken" which is a wonderfully flavored spiced honey and jalapeño ranch sandwich.
