My wife and I have now visited Copper Premium Pub in Clover a few times, and it's quickly becoming…read moreone of our go‑to spots. The pub ambience is warm and inviting. They offer a good variety across the menu, which makes it easy to find something appealing no matter what you're in the mood for. On this visit, I ordered the Big Fat Gyro, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife went with the Greek Salad, and she declared it her favorite salad in the area so far, which is high praise coming from her. The beer selection is decent, with enough options to pair well with whatever you're eating. And just like our previous visits, the service was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and consistently reliable. If there's one thing to note, it's that wait times can vary to be seated. I haven't quite figured out the pattern yet, but I suspect Thursday through Sunday dinner hours are the highest‑risk windows. Even so, the experience has been worth it every time.

After 8 years an update! I met up with Michelle and her…read moresister Sherri for a Saturday evening dinner. They got there before me and got a table in the main dining room. When I got there just about 6p, the place was packed and it was LOUD! There was no way we were having a conversation there. We asked for a table on the patio and were quickly switched to much nicer accommodations at a 4 top, open air but covered patio with multiple wide screen HDTV's and one dedicated to MTV music. Our server was a young man named Ean who took good care of us. He knew the menu well and gave us a great overview of the specials. I had the Mahi tacos on flour tortilla with tasty mango sauce. Michelle had the grilled chicken salad and Sherri had the chicken wrap. We all agreed the food was good but there was a problem with a cocktail that Sherri ordered and she had to send it back TWICE. There was NO carbonation in the soda so she ended up with an Old Fashion. This place is VERY busy and extremely popular, especially on a Saturday evening. You WILL BE CHALLENGED to find a parking spot, get there early.

Neither my friend or I have the capability to use it, and frankly we shouldn't have to. I'd like to look at my options in-hand. Instead, the waitress literally had to verbally tell us every single item the restaurant had since there were no menus. I'm taking a star off for this ridiculous inconvenience. The only reason I'm giving 4 Stars is because of the quality and price of the food. The music was loud and annoying for dinner. We could not hear the waitress and we had difficulty having a conversation. Perhaps these reasons are why there is barely anyone in the restaurant despite the food and drinks being excellent. Honestly, the menus and music would make me think twice about returning and has likely affected others the same way as well. It's a shame, because this restaurant has so much potential. On Wednesday they have a $30 special for a 12oz ribeye or salmon, 2 sides, and a cocktail for $30. The cocktails were beautiful and excellent. I got the ribeye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The ribeye was tender. However, I asked for horseradish cream sauce or chimichurri for the steak, but they didn't have either one, which is odd if they serve steaks. The mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection and cheesy. The asparagus were cooked thoroughly and perfect. (Not the silly al dente found at some restaurants). I'll definitely come back again on a Wednesday and bring my husband (who also doesn't use barcode thingies). We live 1 mile away and would love to make this a regular spot. Can you PLEASE have some REAL MENUS ready and turn down the music ?!?!?!

It's never a win on both. The best thing I've had here so far is the strawberry French toast--it's actually really good. Unfortunately, the worst thing I've had was the waffle portion of the chicken and waffles. The waffles were so hard that I honestly can't believe the kitchen sent them out, and I can't believe I actually tried to eat them! I really want to see this place succeed, but they definitely need to work on consistency, especially with both the food and the drinks. There's potential here, but unfortunately, my experiences so far have been more disappointing than enjoyable.

All beer on tap at this place are from local breweries. The pork belly appetizer is more of a compliment to the mean as it came after, but damn was that thing extremely tender. Minimal effort with a fork and knife. If they got rid of the slaw, and put it on some mash potatoes or what all the hipster places do, putting it on 'bao' that would absolutely make it. Prices are on par with the neighboring area. However being from Hawaii, I'm shocked that the prices here and the other places in the area are equal to, or higher than Hawaii. Would recommend.

The drinks were well made, arrived promptly, and hit the spot. Now, about those tabletops. Bless their hearts--they've seen some history. When you set your phone down and it sticks like it's trying to establish residency, it might be time for a wire brush, a little sandpaper, and whatever industrial-strength cleaner is hiding in the back room. A damp rag has done all it can do. Still, good service and good cocktails have a way of making a fellow forgive a sticky situation. We'd happily stop back... though next time I might bring a putty knife to retrieve my phone.

Award-winning since 2005, this BBQ restaurant absolutely lived up to its reputation--not just…read morebecause of the incredible food, but because of the outstanding service. James, the host, welcomed us with such a warm smile that, even though I'm visiting from Dallas, I immediately felt right at home. That kind of genuine Southern hospitality is hard to find and made the experience even more memorable. The food was phenomenal, and the mac and cheese tasted just like something Big Mama would make--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Every bite reminded me why great barbecue is about more than just the meat; it's about comfort, tradition, and hospitality. If you're looking for authentic BBQ, amazing comfort food, and service that makes you feel like family, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

The brisket was tender, the mac and cheese was great, and the coleslaw rounded it out nicely. What really impressed me was that I got this to-go -- and it was still excellent by the time I got home. That says a lot. Good barbecue doesn't always travel well, but this held up. Only thing I'd note is the wait -- had my order in around 6:10 and didn't head out until 6:35 or so. Wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you're on a tight schedule. Overall, great find. Already eyeing the brisket burnt ends for next time.
