First time trying Buffalo Eatz new location off S Tryon and it was ok. I ordered the 1/2 cheese steak and added crinkle fries for $4.99 and a 20oz drink. I also ordered the Biscoff banana pudding which didn't actually have bananas in it. Overall the steak sandwich was small the fries were fries and the banana pudding was ok. I will probably go back just for the steak sandwich and skip the drink fires and desert. I ordered off the app and paid about $23 after the 15% discount because they do have a rewards program.

SMALL Philly

Busy inside and took about 15 minutes for it to be ready, but not bad considering they're new here. The waffle fries are fairly average. The Philly with cooper sharp was very flavorful and the meat was cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the sandwich is tiny, it's basically the size of a hotdog! It's by far the least amount of meat I have ever seen on a cheesesteak. I would get a large or ask for double meat if hungry, but the flavor is great!

Buffalo eatz is not the best, it is just another Chex grill, the only difference is the fries.

Best Chop cheese in NC. We drive 50 minutes to come eat. So worth it. And I highly recommend the egg rolls. Everything is simply amazing.

Great spot for wings and sandwiches. It recently opened and the food is fire. Be prepared to wait if you walk inside and order your wings.

The waitress recommended the mimosa carafe since we were both ordering mimosas. They have the juice and champagne separate, and it's more than enough champagne. We were given more juice, too. We ordered the omelette. I added onions, peppers, smoked Gouda, and bacon to it. The Gouda set it off. It was delicious but could use more cheese on top or something. TN potatoes were flavorful and crispy enough. The toast was standard. My fiancé ordered the WWIII with chicken thigh. The waffle was okay. Nothing special, and the chicken was seasoned almost too much but was pretty good. Both paired well with the syrup. The music was great. Explicit but it was like they took my Spotify playlist and put in on the speaker. The waitress was fine. Wish she would've told us how much the mimosa carafe cost when she suggested it, but it was worth it. If we are in town again, we may go back.

I had the sweet potato waffle, and it was so good! The rest of my family ordered more traditional breakfast items, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times, it was worth it for us!

Flights from Guatemala would arrive, and passengers would walk off the plane carrying bags of Pollo Campero. The aroma was unforgettable. Ever since then, I've been curious about what made this chicken so special. Fast forward to Charlotte, and now I finally understand the hype. I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the four-piece roasted chicken meal with sweet plantains, coleslaw, and a roll. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The chicken was juicy and packed with spices that set it apart from your typical fast-food chicken chain. It's hard to explain until you try it, but the seasoning has a distinctive flavor that makes Pollo Campero uniquely its own. The sweet plantains were excellent. Soft, caramelized, and sweet with those slightly crispy edges that make plantains so addictive. The coleslaw was cold, creamy, and crunchy, which paired perfectly with the chicken. The service was friendly, the value was excellent, and my order was accurate. I always take a moment to check my order before leaving the drive-thru, and everything was exactly right. If your fried chicken experience begins and ends with KFC, Bojangles, or Church's, give Pollo Campero a try. It's a delicious taste of Guatemala and a reminder that great chicken comes in many forms. Life is too short not to eat well, Charlotte.

Several excellent local restaurants, too. So I had high hopes today for Pollo Campero. PC was clean when I arrived at 12:30. Quite busy with about a third of the tables in use and the remaining were clear of dirty dishes. Surprising because they don't have a trash can that I could see - the staff bus and clean tables, clearing them swiftly. I ordered a three piece at the counter and it didn't take long until a running found my tent card and I was able to start. The chicken was thoroughly cooked, still moist. Not much for flavor in the skin today, it needed some hot sauce to bring out the taste. The cole slaw was creamy and crisp. Still good but also a little bland. The small dinner roll wrapped in plastic was fresh and fluffy. Overall, it's a nice little fast food spot. If you're looking for something in a known quantity along South Boulevard near the light rail, this will work nicely. [Review 728 of 2025 - 4162 in North Carolina - 24288 overall]
