No, don't think about wasting your money on this mid food!! Take the negative reviews as a sign. I love wings, tenders and wraps so decided to give this place a try. I was thinking how bad can they mess up a wrap? Well it was disgusting. The chicken tenders tasted old, barely warm, soggy, no crisp at all. The fries were cold and sad. The chicken tacos were also not good due to the poor quality chicken. I was excited to try this place but now totally regret it! You'll probably be better off eating at the McDonald's near by. I have ordered Flip-a-Lo's twice through our lunch delivery service at work. The buffalo chicken salad meal was simply chicken strips with a side salad and a breadstick. The salad was very rough with mostly cabbage and carrots, not much lettuce at all. The chicken that came with the salad was very dry and overcooked. Bummer. So next time, I opted to get the chicken wrap and I'm SO glad I did! Success. The wrap is a really nice size and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The hot buffalo wasn't spicy at all so next time I'm going to try something more flavorful like the Flip-n-Gold. I'm getting this wrap again next week so stay tuned. read more

I usually go for their chicken wraps but absolutely anything on the menu is 10/10. This is a great little wings joint, if you can you find it, that is. It has a narrow storefront and is located beside The Fresh Market in the Carmel Commons Shopping Center. Their main thing, of course, are their wings and they have never disappointed me in the past; however, they also offer chicken strips, salads, chicken wraps and soft shell tacos. Most everything is accompanied by their killer (garlic knot-like) breadsticks. The salad, at $8, was fresh and substantial. I'm not sure if it's made in house or delivered but it was delicious as was the medium hot strips that were served separately with the breadsticks. The tacos were just okay but the fries were better than reported by another Yelper. Did I mention the breadsticks were delicious?! Service, although limited, was friendly and attentive. During our coronavirus lockdown, we decided to try out a new place that came recommended by a few other for our take out of the day. Let's start with the service. They were so friendly both on the phone when I had questions and when I got there to pick it up. They have curbside pickup parking spots. Call when you arrive and they bring your food out right away. My food was ready 15 minutes after I placed my order (barely enough time for me to drive there). Obviously this is very specific to this point in time, but it makes me think they always have great service. Now for the food. We ordered a large wing meal (10 wings), 10 just wings, and a regular buffalo pizza sticks (with medium sauce). For our wing sauces we got lemon pepper, garlic parm, medium buffalo/honey BBQ, flip'n hot buffalo/tangy BBQ (5 of each). It's awesome that they let you do half and half and combine two sauces on one wing. As for the wings: the flip'n hot buffalo/tangy BBQ combo was my favorite (the honey BBQ was a little too sweet on the other one and covered up the medium buffalo flavor). The lemon pepper was also very good. The garlic parm wasn't bad, but the flavor was a little weak. The buffalo pizza sticks were my favorite. These were the ultimate comfort food. The were perfect dipped in the delicious ranch. Their bread sticks were surprisingly tasty as well (come with meals). It has been way too long since an update! We love Flip-A-Lo's (hard to say it sometimes, we like their old name Flip'n Chicken better :) ) and have been going here for 7 years! They are our absolutely favorite chicken/wing spot! I want to give Flip-A-Lo's a huge shout out and thank you for staying open during these COVID times. They made it easy to be one of our weekly local places to support. We ordered online and called them once we arrived to notify them of our arrival. They came right out and handed us our order. So simple! As far as the food - it is still excellent. I always get the buffalo chicken wrap which is amazing, my husband gets the wings - 1/2 buffalo and 1/2 lemon pepper, but this time we also decided to try the buffalo pizza sticks. OMG! Don't Sleep on this place for too long. I came out for an event and can't believe I haven't taken advantage of this place for lunch or takeout since it's so close to my office! It's tucked away in a shopping center off of Carmel rd so you will need to look for it, but if you see Party City then you're in the right shopping center. The place is not big so you won't be hosting any birthday parties but it's great for quick eats and wings to go. All food in the building is made from scratch, yes EVERYTHING! Another cool tidbit is you can create your very own sauce. You want sweet but with a spicy finish, they've got something for you. Or how about a crunchy dry rub seasoning finished off with Parmesan...yep they've got you covered there too! Hands down my favorite wing of the night was the lemon pepper! That has never been my go to flavor and clearly I've been missing out! I tried them boneless so I can't wait to go back and try them with drums and flats. I also tried the Buffalo Pizza Sticks and secretly wanted to sneak off with the whole pan. It's a spin on bread sticks but obviously with buffalo sauce. Try this cheesy dish! Totally worth it. For me a bit pricey since I am not fond of bread with this type of meal and would have preferred a salad instead of bread and the carrot and celery sticks. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken breadsticks!!! The base is homemade breadsticks, cut into bite sized pieces, topped with buffalo sauce, melted cheese, and chicken. Buffalo sauce has 3 heat levels - mild, medium and hot. I am a bit of a woos, so I went with mild. It was not spicy at all - in a good way! Comes with a side of HOMEMADE blue cheese. You can also get ranch instead (not sure if that is also homemade or not). It's a good sized cup. I would recommend getting a small side of carrots and celery to clean the rest of the dressing from the cup!!!! The small came with 6 generous bites/pieces. The breadsticks are more like deep dish pizza style crust, so they are heartier than a breakdstick you will find at say Olive Garden. They were a lot more filling then I expected! read more

The wings were good, flavorful and saucey! It comes with bread, which is a bit weird... I thought it would come with fries (which is why I did not order any). When I started eating the bread it was a little underdone, so I ate about half. The owner was working that night and did a great job of explaining the menu options as well as the different wing flavors that were available. The chicken tenders were meaty, juicy, and tender. So delicious! I will say that I haven't met a buffalo sauce I haven't liked. I think I could eat it on anything! It's located near Amelies on Highway 51 with plenty of parking. So tonight I went to FlipN'Chicken for my first time, although I was really excited I became very disappointed QUICK! I posted a picture of where I was sitting while waiting on my Togo order. I spent $17.00 which included my tip, waited for about 15+ minutes on my food to question my money back just as they were about to pack it up. So as I was sitting watching my food being cooked and prepared a young lady with blonde hair walks in. She goes behind the counter, types something into the register and immediately starts putting chicken in the fry. YES... She did not wash her hands... I watched very closely because I was hungry and also praying that whatever she was doing it would not involve her touching my food. She walked around touching other food and things and still... NOT WASHING HER HANDS! My skin began to crawl because I have no clue where she had just come from, but where ever it was her hands needed to be cleaned before touching mine or anyone else's food. Then it happened, she went to assist the gentleman with my food. Opened my box of fresh chicken wings, sticking her hands in the bread bag that would hold my breadsticks and still NO CLEAN HANDS!!! I got up, and it just so happens that she was the one to walk over and assist me. I asked her if I could have my money back. She didn't ask why, she just said "oh you're food is coming up right now!" My response: yes I see but I would like a refund thank you. The guy who took my order and prepared my food came over and asked if everything was ok. I said politely and quietly because I didn't want to ruin the other guest dinner that she did not wash her hands. She walks over and says "but I came in to fix my own food". My response was: You did not wash your hands, plus your food was not the only food you handled. You opened my box of chicken and opened my breadsticks bag, putting your hand inside before putting in the breadsticks. The gentleman gave my a refund as the lady walked away. And I kindly said to him, she did not wash her hands and that's nasty. It doesn't matter if she is handling her food or my food, that's unsanitary and for this to be my first experience here.
