Small spot on Main St serving up cool vibes and good hot burgers. The Bush and Vine salad was extremely fresh and best served with the apple cider vinegarette. Very kid friendly, good kids menu and very attentive staff. There is a full bar. Very nice add to this charming and growing downtown area. read more

Solid spot - best restaurant in Clover. Service was great tonight. We arrived n a Saturday around 5:30. Not too crowded yet - that's why we came when we did. We got the last booth. The place does have a buzz to it though. Not too loud. Their wings are the best in York county. I asked for mine "as hot as you can make them" and they had a kick. Very good. The blue cheese still lacks that punch but at least now it is chunky. The Southern Belle is very good - I got it with 2 patties. The fries are excellent. One suggestion - a tad less seasoning. One of the owners stopped by our table and chatted us up. Really good dude. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and providing the best food and service he can. read more

Our waitress, Skylar, greeted us warmly and took our drink orders while I asked a few questions about the menu items. She said we couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu and she wasn't wrong! We chose to order different things and sample each others:) The Amtrak burger with a double smash patty and sweet potato fries for my husband. Kids burger and fries for my son. My Mom chose the Southern Belle with fries and I went with the Pennsylvania with the green peppers on the side and orzo pasta salad. I took my son to the restroom and our order was delivered as soon as we returned. Super fast! We were all immediately wowed by our entrees. My husband is a burger critic and he loved the Amtrak. I am a huge fan of a smash burger, but I really enjoyed the Pennsylvania cheesesteak. We will definitely be back! read more

Cattle Car was everything and then some! Great brunch vibes, cool atmosphere and wonderful service and food! My wife had the Breakfast Crossing and I had the Billy's Bowl. We tried The Cattle Car for the first time today and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Triple B and the Gamecock burgers--both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Our sides, the orzo pasta salad and fruit cup, were fresh and tasty additions to the meal. The spiced pineapple old fashioned was amazing, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Me and my uncle decided to try something new. This is a small place in the heart of Main Street in clover. I got the blue cheese burger on Texas toast and it was absolutely delicious and I am very picky about my burgers. The patties were thin which I love. The seasoning and ingredients tastes fresh. After reading many positive reviews of The Cattle Car, we decided to give it a try. We started with the fried pickle appetizer, which came with ranch dipping sauce. Unfortunately, the cup of ranch was already over halfway empty when it arrived. I politely asked if we could get a full cup since three of us would be sharing, and while our waitress agreed, the additional ranch never came. For our meals, I ordered the Pennsylvania, and my wife had the Gamecock burger. At $16, I expected more from the Pennsylvania--it had little to no flavor, and the accompanying side salad was barely more than a few pieces of lettuce. My wife wasn't impressed with her burger either. Overall, the food and service left much to be desired. We won't be returning, especially with much better options nearby--Hoof & Barrel in York being one of them. read more

Was looking forward to a new spot in Clover. We had high expectation's. Wife and I both got the burgers. The restaurant and staff were all great. Did a nice job making the place look great. We both were totally let down by our orders. They looked great but everything really lacked flavor and seasoning. I have heard other people say the same thing. I have been waiting on a place like this for some time, Finally Clover has a down home feel with a touch of Modern. I have to tell you the food here is amazing, Wait Staff' is phenomenal. There is one of the Staff that seems to stand out. Starr will sit down beside you and talk with you as if she has known you her entire life. That makes people feel comfortable. Thank you so much. I have had two different burgers, my husband has had the fish and the cheesesteak. Everything we have had has been phenomenal! The pricing is fair and the atmosphere is amazing. I took my son here for dinner and couldn't believe what a great little spot this is. The burgers are dynamite. I should've gotten a double patty because they're so good. Service was prompt and so kind! We opted to eat outside which was great but the inside was really nice looking too. 10/10 will recommend and go back again and again. Checked out Cattle Car yesterday (Saturday) in downtown Clover, SC. We got there around 1 PM and waited about 45 minutes to get seated--definitely a popular weekend lunch spot, with a good crowd hanging out front. We started with the Buffalo Dip Spring Rolls--they were just okay. Pretty small portion (only four rolls), so I probably wouldn't order them again. I had the Amtrak double smashburger and it was really good. Classic smashburger done right--crispy edges, juicy, flavorful. Fries were solid too--hot, well-seasoned, and not greasy. My wife had the Farmhouse salad, which was big, fresh, and she liked it a lot. They've also got a pretty decent selection of beers on draft. We tried the Hopfly Cloudhead IPA and it was excellent--super refreshing and packed with flavor. All in all, a great spot for a quality smashburger and a good beer. Bonus: there are a few fun spots nearby to check out while you wait--Bull Pin Sports & Arcade Bar, The Vault Bottle Shop, and Carolina Chocolate Company, which has a kid-friendly ice cream bar and some great flavors. read more

After all the hype we decided to eat lunch here this weekend after sports with our kids. The restaurant was infested with flies that constantly landed on our food and drinks. so let me start with... don't believe the hype. I waited until today to try this Brand New, downtown, Neon sign place . Lots of people have tried it and loved it. ... me, underwhelmed. To small which leads to , to noisey. Food was hot and prompt so there's that . 7 seat bar so no neighbor hood bar feel. Waitress did a nice job. felt rushed to sign bill they wait( table side) . Beer was not cold and sweet tea warm with ice. Beer selection not good. I don't drink Bourbon so don't know if that's good or not. I'm not writing it off just ... eh! read more

Service was really really great. At first, felt like waiter was a little bit in a hurry, but then it calmed and she was making sure we had drinks etc. Buffalo rolls as appetizers are amazing. The pita/pretzel app is decent too we were just left with tons of dip and no more chips/pretzels. Ratio seemed a bit off. The burgers I was really ready for it to blow my mind; but unfortunately I wasn't impressed. The buns were really sturdy and great, but the patty was super thin and not juicy or flavorful. I felt like the patty itself lacked seasoning and the burgers need more topping and sauce. Also ordered the Red Eye burger that comes with an egg, the egg wasn't runny at all so felt like it was just extra dryness added to the burger and had no flavor at all. We will gladly come back, just hope they change the burgers to be thicker and more flavorful and juicy. read more
