Overall rating was just ok. Service was a bit slow. Salad bar not kept up with items nor with plates. We had to ask for our silverware. Took a while to get our food. When food brought to us (not by our waitress) we weren't asked if we needed any condiments etc. WE had to ask for it. Not really checked on through the meal but surely as we were leaving! Got together with a bunch of classmates for dinner on the lanai. Our server, sorry forgot her name was excellent. She described the dishes, took our orders and gave us attention without being intrusive. Everyone enjoyed the food, most had the bourbon steak and some added ribs. I had my go to assiago peppercorn steak. For a large group, we had 9 people, the lanai is great. it is separate so you aren't bothered by noise but you are not forgotten. So we decided to give this location a try as I wanted something "healthy" and didn't want to drive all the way back to Ewa before eating dinner. It was a Monday night, and when we signed in there were a few people waiting outside. They told us the wait was about 15 mins but it went quick and soon we were sitting inside ordering our drinks. For whatever reason, it was kids eat free night. SCORE! My son and husband got a burger and fries, and me trying to be healthy, got the hickory bourbon chicken with spaghetti squash and onion rings (ok not totally healthy) and a salad bar. I really like their dark rye bread crutons and the fact that they have egg as one of their toppings. I don't really care for the pasta salad or potato salad there, but the broccoli slaw is okay. Some of the items on the bar was empty, but they were promptly refilled when it was brought to their attention. The wait for our main meal was a little long, good thing we got the salad bar. When our food finally came, my husband inhaled his burger. He said it was good, but I am not completely sure if he actually tasted anything when he barely even chewed his food. My onion rings were kind of stale, like they were cooked but were left out for a little bit. I was pretty stoked about the spaghetti squash since I eat it regularly at home, but theirs was very bitter and bland. My chicken was small and BURNT. They had a glaze on it that kind of covered the burnt parts of the chicken but it was evident in the taste. The chicken was very dry and burnt tasting. The glaze was sweet but VERY SPICY, which I was not prepared for. I like spicy foods, but that's not what I was expecting out of a hickory bourbon flavor. I ended up sending it back and asked if I would have to endure another long wait for my food, the waitress assured me that she would have her manager make sure that it was quick. She brought out a plain cheeseburger. It was so fresh that the cheese was still bubbly but unfortunately I could not eat it as my son got sick and threw up all over his plate. At least it was kids eat free night. :/ I ate a portion of the burger patty later, and from what I could tell it was cooked right and was a good All-American burger. Our waitress was sweet and understanding and the overall surroundings were clean . I don't think I would go back there again though if given the opportunity. The wait was too long for food even though it wasn't that crowded in the restaurant. My chicken was horrible and I didn't think that it was a good value for the quality and amount of food. We have been to three Ruby's on O'ahu. Do not love the Ala Moana location, four visits earned a fair grade of 2. However, this Ruby's is really well managed. It is always BUSY and you may have to wait, but never for long. It is really handy for when you need to meet someone near the airport for a visit. We have friends that fly though here and meet with them for drinks and pupus. The waitstaff is great and the place is clean. The menu speaks for itself - yum. I will not visit this Ruby Tuesday again. I had horrible service. The wait was very long but that was the least of our problems.. The person I was eating with had her veggies burned. When we told the waitress she said that there was nothing wrong with them, but that was just how they cooked them. She had an attitude and it was obvious. Then they gave us another batch that was perfectly cooked. It seemed like she was making excuses at first and didn't wanna bring them back. I got a steak and they took so long to give me my steak sauce that my steak was getting cold. When the manager came around he just said he'd get it. Why does it take 2 people to get steak sauce? My breaded shrimp was still raw on the inside too. When our waitress finally came around, we told her all our issues again and she acted so fake nice that it was almost sarcastic. By that time we were so annoyed we asked to get our checks. When we said we were not satisfied with the service and food, they gave us 15% off. GREEAT. Horrible servers and horrible management. Just out of curiosity My son and I went to Ruby Tuesday Mililni location I went with high hopes because I heard good things about this place.We went at lunchtime and only waited a short time and noticed it was a lot of military families,I think they have military discount which is good. Wait help is local but our waitress was acting like we were a burden to her( I heard her telling another waitress she was supposed to be on break).My son ordered rack of lamb that was good but when he finished he was still hungry,salad bar was extra.When I go to a new restaurant I see if the have sampler appetizer plate that had four items.That way I can sample 4 things instead one,everything was good but salad bar(extra) but had a small selection Overpriced for mediocre food.I never went back again. read more

I'm not normally a huge fan of Ruby Tuesdays, but there's something that can be said about good service at even a so so place that makes an experience top notch and that's where my fourth star is coming in. We had lunch here a few weeks ago, and were seated immediately and greeted immediately by our server who was honestly the most pleasant and friendly server I can remember having in some time. The table near us was finishing up a late breakfast with their young son in tow and she was interacting with their son as well as the couple and it was clear that talking to people was something she enjoyed about her job....not just something she "had to do." When we finally decided on what to order both my husband and I not so shockingly wanted to make changes to the side dishes and she was more than accommodating and even advised us that changing things up is not a problem and that the side dishes advertised on the menu is just a suggestion. Our food came out quickly, and our waters remained full throughout the meal and she checked on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. The food itself was also quite good. We both got something on the healthier side of the menu, with my husband getting the BBQ chicken and I got the chicken with mushrooms. I don't remember what sides my husband ordered but I had the zucchini and the mashed cauliflower both which were really tasty. We both left satisfied and happy not to have eaten over 1,900 calories for lunch after just have spending an hour plus working out. We came here on a Friday night for dinner because it was the only fancy place nearby after finding out Sam Snead's was full due to hosting a large party. We were seated in the outdoor area which wasn't bad. The first bad sign appeared and I knew it wasn't going to be a good meal. Our waitress didn't come to greet us until 10 minutes later. She appeared and asked what we wanted to drink. 10 minutes later, she came back with 7 waters, there were 9 of us. We ordered our food and I also ordered a peach iced tea. Another 10 (or 15?) minutes, she reappeared with 1 more water. Still missing 1... No iced tea in sight either. Our food took a while to arrive. Not to mention, it was missing 1 again! We ordered 8 entrees because a few wanted to share. One of us ordered the burgers. The menu said it came with onion rings but there are none on the plate. I ordered the pesto mahi mahi and it was simply flavorless asides from the oil. I can't even taste any pesto. It came with 2 sides. I was adventurous and got their new spaghetti squash and french fries. It's basically a squash cut up in strands like spaghetti. There was a weird squash taste to it but otherwise, it was flavorless. It seemed like they didn't even cook it. I had to remind the waitress about my iced tea and she finally brought it out. We did receive a random plate of steak which no one ordered, must've been from another table. When we were only halfway through eating, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. We said no, slightly annoyed. 5 minutes later, she came back with the check and offered to clear some plates/get some boxes except we weren't finished eating! At this point, she seemed to pass by us a lot compared to before when we were expecting our drinks/food. We paid and she instantly appeared to grab the check, clear our plates and instantly returned in less than 5 minutes! Then we proceeded to sit around and talk story. She even came by 5 minutes later to pick up her tip! Pros: The baby back ribs were very flavorful and tender. The peach iced tea was very good, albeit a little too sweet. It had a large amount of actual peach bits at the bottom! The fries were fried pretty good as well. Cons: Poor service. The waitress was really indifferent, it felt like she didn't want to be there. The food was mediocre. Their pasta looked bland, it's better going to an Italian restaurant if you want to eat pasta. It's a bit overpriced for this level of food, you can find better for cheaper elsewhere. read more

The staff tries hard, but you know that they're pretty much on the home stretch at 8:30pm on a Saturday. I had the Turkey Burger/ fries platter with chicken quesadilla appetizers. The quesadilla was pretty OK, nothing good, nothing bad, nothing too mind blowing, just... passable. The turkey burger was delicious, but messy. But again... not bad, not good, pretty okay. So, how do you rate something that hit consistant "pretty ok" for the whole experience? 3/5. I do have to give props to our server, because he kept it moving and was very attentive. This is a great place to meet up with some friends after work for a drink. I'll be honest though, I wouldn't come here because I was craving their food. I've been here a handful of times and have never been impressed with their food. This location does have ample parking. If you come at peak times, you will wait for parking and for a table, but it isn't that much of a wait. The establishment itself is fairly clean. The staff is friendly, for the most part. It is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a really cool, really friendly waiter/waitress. Other times, they aren't as attentive as you'd like them to be. Arrived at 8:30p, greeted & seated immediately by Angel. Our server, Chastina (Chas) timely took our beverage order, delivered them, then took our food order. Service was very good, i.e. efficiently refilled our drinks, came by our table to see how we were doing and with friendly smiles. My husband really enjoyed the Bourbon chicken with its 2 sides (broccoli and rice pilaf) and the bacon cheeseburger was very good ... cooked medium as ordered, juicy and very tasty. Though the location of this particular Ruby Tuesday is central and ideal for an after work meeting spot, I'd much rather have driven some distance for better service. My husband and I decided to go there to catch the last half of NFL's Thursday night game. Upon arrival, the bar area wasn't really that busy so the server approached us in a timely manner. As the game went on, maybe about 30 minutes after getting there, she was no where to be found. Waters and Teas were near empty and near by tables were complaining that they've been asking repeatedly for another beer. Heads were constantly turning and necks were constantly stretching to search for ANY server. Quite annoying when you're trying to watch and enjoy the game, yet distracted by NOT being served. Can't complain about the quality of the food there. I've been there for lunch and dinner before, and though only ordered burgers (turkey ones), I never had a bad experience with the taste. I want to think that this was an "off" day and that should we decide to return, particularly to the bar area, we wouldn't have a repeat of this evening. Lovely morning brunch with a friend to plan our itinerary to Europe in 3 weeks!!! Outdoor seating, cool, and mostly quiet until a family came with loud screaming kids. Luckily that happened toward the end of our meal. The chefs were able to sub avocado for eggs/hollandaise sauce to meet my vegan diet needs for their AMT Benedict menu item. She is attentive, polite, funny, nice, and if you don't know what you want she can give you great personal selections. She picked out this dessert for me last time I went, and it was DELICIOUS!!! I can totally trust her taste in food, dessert and drinks! Restaurant itself is very clean also! Manager is really nice and attentive as well. He's a funny guy! Went in about 1pm and was seated right away, party of 2. That was about the only good thing about our visit here. Our waitress had no idea about the menu and the different dishes that we popular. We had many questions about the menu, and she had to constantly refer back to another waitress to give us the correct answers. I ordered the spicy fish tacos and it came with the create your own salad bar. Both the salad bar and my tacos were a disappointment. First of all the salad bar looked like the ingredients were not only past due, but all of the product must have been sitting out for the entire day. Everything was wilted and dry. The dressings had that film on top and everything look unappetizing. We waited almost 25 for our orders to come. I only received 2 very small tacos. Although the fish was hot and cooked correctly, my taco was over flowing with too much lettuce and cheese. That was my meal. Just the tacos. No other chips or sides to accompany it. My boyfriends meal of half rack of ribs and shrimp was also a disappointment. The shrimp was not fresh seeing as it was those tiny pink variety that you find in prepackaged Asian noodles. The ribs were also a let down, they were dry and clearly over cooked. This visit may have been my last. The prices are completely over priced and the food is not worth eating. read more

Ruby Tuesday is often busy at nights when i pass by. I have no idea why. Perhaps location and the lack of nearby competition keep this place going. Though not a terrible place, it is OVERPRICED unless you buy a burger and the food is simply average in my opinion. With that said i can say they play the games and have the fights and I have never had a problem with a server there. Its worth a one time, you may like it. Similar to it's mainland counterparts, but much more expensive. My go to at this chain restaurant is the salad bar. It's a healthy option as long as you stick to the healthy options. Salad becomes pointless if you're covering it in cream, fat, cheese, bread, bacon, etc. You can easily end up with a 1200 calorie salad if you don't watch what your adding to your greens. That's more than half of the recommended daily allowance for just a salad! I was just in Florida and stopped in for a lunch on a weekday and paid $7.99 for the same thing that here costs $14.69. The service is OK, not anything special. Restaurant and restrooms are clean and well maintained. read more

I love it here! You can call ahead, with ease, and find out what the current wait-time is. The employees are always enthusiastic or willing to make a recommendation on what to order. I'm a huge fan of spinach/artichoke dip & there's tastes heavenly! This is also my go-to place for a quick-fix ribeye. The price is right & it's cooked to perfection (of course to your preference). Their pastas are also a great choice & you can request to add/hold ingredients (for a price of course). The ambiance brings a great vibe! Seriously, corporate sports bar? Yep, love it! The salad bar is great, good selection, fresh, and constantly monitored and re-stocked. I like the meals with all you can eat salad. But I also love their burgers. Sometimes, I just want good American food, and this place is very clean, consistent, and has excellent service! And their specialty drinks and margaritas are hard to pass up! We used to go to the Ala Moana one often, but since they closed, we sought out Valkenburgh. Seemed like it was an old order or they just pre make all the fried green beans & leave them on the side til someone orders it. Being a vegetarian I was stoked to see there were a few vegeterian dishes (& I mean a very few, but at least there was something). I got the zucchini pasta w/marinara sauce. The zoodles were weird. There was a bit of water on the bottom but I also had to break them apart as the zoodles were clumped up ?? The veggies on top were just ok. Not crispy, kind of soggy. The marinara sauce had no flavor other than the canned tomatoes that they seem to pour out without adding any seasonings or even cooking it for that matter. Nothing really had flavor. Added some salt & red chili pepper flakes which made it edible but I wouldnt order it again. If I absolutely have to come here again hopefully it'll be during happy hour & I can just eat the fried & green beans or something ...& hopefully the green beans will be nice & hot & crunchy next time too. read more

This Ruby Tuesday is the closet one now to where we live after they closed down the on at Ala Moana. But because for that very reason this location is always so so busy, the wait can get long and because they don't take reservations for more than 10 people in your party you have no choice but to wait. Which is kinda a downfall. But we had recently came here this past weekend to have dinner and it made even more sense because we had gift cards. The wait was about 20 mins for us 3 and that night we didn't wait that long which was kinda surprising for a Saturday night. Once we got in we were greeted with THE BEST SERVER I had ever had. Her name was Oli and I will def ask for her the next time we eat here. She was very patient and let us take our time to choose what we wanted to eat (regardless on if we come here quite often, hah) so when we were ready to order she was giving us more options for the dinner entrees that we chose, I didn't know that it even existed and she said because its not on the menu so we wouldn't know unless your server asks. That's already a good tip starting off. That night we all ordered different steaks and we had appetizers as well with the awesome all you can eat salad bar that you can never turn down. What really topped off our night was how she kept refilling our drinks without having to be waved down by us, and over the years of eating out I have come to realize that if you as a server are continuing to refill our drinks without us telling you to you get a good tip. I was pleasantly surprised with Ruby Tuesdays. It was very easy to find, and has a very large parking lot. I was eating at around 6:30 p.m. with friends. The hostess sat us right away, and the server took our order very quickly. Of course, in the beginning, he came once to ask if we wanted any beverages, and another to order the food. He checked on us a couple of times after a, and also brought us a dessert menu. I had the chicken and broccoli cream pasta. It was very delicious. I've had more expensive pasta for twice the price.
