Horrible service - the worst I have ever experienced and it was so bad that I signed up with yelp to be able to comment on my visit. Took more than 40 min before they even brought water, did not check in if we need anything, brought no plates or silverware with the starters, were very slow to refill softdrink. Lots of staff present but totally inattentive. Restaurant less than half full. Waitress not to be found over a prolonged time. Honestly, I don't think it was only our waitress's fault that we had such a horrible experience, I think the main reason is total failure of the management and staff oversight. read more

It's Ruby Tuesday. It is what it is. You go there for Americana, not five-star cuisine. Still, it's probably the best salad bar around, and you know that it'll be fresh no matter what store you go to. A few things can be said about this location, not any of them good. First, the men's room looked and smelled like a bad gas station restroom that would cause me to never stop there again. Extremely Nasty! Second, the food order took a very long time to come to the table. Third, the staff didn't care to inconvenience you when asked for refilling items on the salad bar. Additionally, instead of choosing an open path, they struggle to get through the waiting crowd to get to their tables. Finally, my daughters kids meal had plastic fried into her chicken tender. I hate to post such a negative review...however, 2.5 hours for burgers and pasta, which came out cold accompanied by non existent staff. My husbands "avocado" sandwich had maybe a tsp of avocado. When you're paying $11 plus for a sandwich and fries, I expect it to be somewhat decent. The salad bar was good and the manager began to serve us as our waitress ignored us for an hour. They comped chocolate cake for our experience but sadly, we won't be back. I have always loved Ruby Tuesday's but perhaps our experience was due to the lack of staff and poor management. Went in this evening withy wife. We were seated promptly an our order was taken in a timely manner. My wife had the Bourbon salmon and i had the ribeye. When our order came it the first thing In noticed was the steak was not the shape of a ribeye and. Lacked any caramelization. I took two bites and after chewing nothing it gristle that was totally tasteless I stopped eating. Spoke with the manager and told him the meat was not a rib eye, it was tasteless, and it was poorly cooked. The manager offered to provide a new steak, but it was too late. He did comp my meal. Absolutely the worst and I mean the worst experience I have ever had in my life! We get there around dinner time and we were excited because it didn't seem busy for a Saturday night 2/12/2022. We walked in and we were behind another couple that had been waiting. They get seated and it's our turn. We have a a party of five. Going to the table I knew right away that it was going to be a disaster. There were 6 tables on the entire floor with guests including us. There was approximately 5 tables that were never bussed the entire time we were there. We ordered our food and got the salad bar as well. The salad bar was a 5.99 joke! Veggies frozen to Containers low dressing looked like mold on the bits of ham. The we waited 45 min for food that was over cooked and made wrong. I overheard our server mention the manager was cooking the food because the cook no call no showed. Also our server was probably the most incompetent person I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Brings refills but leaves old mugs on the table. Then gets snippy because we left low tips. Out of 5 of use he still made 20$ and still had the balls to mumble things under his breath. I'll be honest this RT needs to be blessed burnt down and rebuilt. Idk what happened to this place. I've tried to order carry-out from this location on two separate occasions. The first time, after being on hold for about 5 minutes, I was told that it would take 2 hours. I politely declined and chose another restaurant. The second time I was placed on hold for upwards of 15 minutes. What made it worse was that it was clear someone was picking up the phone and placing it back on hold quickly, hoping I didn't notice. I think the phone starts to ring on their end when it's placed on hold too long and picking it up resets the "timer". Either way I wouldn't recommend. Don't! First impressions are so important and the first thing you see is the very messy salad bar. There was food scattered all around the counter and outside the serving bowls. We were seated in a booth. The table was sticky needed to be cleaned. The tables adjacent to us were also dirty the entire time we were in the restaurant. Menus were dirty. We had ribs which were marginal at best. The other person in our group ordered chicken Parmesan Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and the chicken was not cooked. We stopped at this Ruby Tuesday while passing through town on a trip. The salad bar that RT is known for was pretty sparse and not well kept. There weren't many people in there so being busy wasn't an excuse. Food from the salad bar was on the floor and needed to be stepped around while making your salad. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job but our food took a really long time to come out. I ordered the California turkey BLT. I actually expected turkey to be the main ingredient of this sandwich but it would have been more accurately described as a lettuce tomato sandwich with a couple of very thin slices of turkey. You honestly could not even taste the turkey it was such a small amount. I would definitely recommend skipping this restaurant and eating elsewhere. read more

Talk about landing in a place with everything wrong with it. Came here to Kentucky for training purposes and stayed in a hotel nearby. When me and couple buddies spotted the Ruby Tuesday we picked that over Texas Roadhouse. Worst mistake in coming here. First off, the cooks were all complaining because people were still coming into the restaurant. Second, they forgot bacon off of my request for a "Bacon cheeseburger". Last but not certainly not least I asked for medium rare turned out to be more like medium raw. The environment here after 830pm is horrible. Staying in Kentucky while taking a break from the road for the night, I decided that Ruby Tuesday is the place to go because the Texas Roadhouse next to our hotel is SO PACKED that you can't find a parking space. The service was good, with the orders placed perfectly and the food arriving at perfect timing. The salad bar I had was delicious, but I was very slightly disappointed with the Spaghetti Squash Marinara. It tasted okay. My mom's tacos were kind of messy, but good. First, I will say the food was pretty good and if you plan to order for pick up, then you will probably enjoy your experience. Previously my fiance and I have had poor experiences with Ruby Tuesday Restaurants but we were given a gift card and thought we would use it. There were several issues with our most recent dining experience: 1. We waited for 10 minutes before we were even asked how many were in our party. 2. My fiance never received a refill during the course of dinner, which was quite long due to the other issues. 3. We ordered an appetizer, the shrimp fondue, but were given the wrong appetizer, the shrimp po'boy flatbread. 4. I had ordered spaghetti squash with my meal and I was given French fries initially. 5. My fiance ordered cheese grits with her meal and was given French fries initially. 6. I ordered my burger without a bun, and it was served on a bun. 7. The cheese grits that my fiance ordered showed up when we were ready to leave and though we were able to bring them home, grits are not a food that reheats well. 8. We asked for additional chips for our shrimp fondue which also did not show up until we were ready to leave. All-in-all this will be our last experience with Ruby Tuesday unless someone else pays, and we get it for pick-up. read more

I'm not going to claim that this is the fastest service or that this is the best place in Kentucky, but I'll tell you: this is as good as you will get in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The steaks are cooked appropriately. Rare is rare. Baked potatoes are baked at the correct temperature and kept fluffy and moist while waiting for your visit. The wine selection is adequate for an evening of drinking with my personal favorite cheap wine, Bonterra, always stocked. The bar, being one of the few in town, is hopping most nights with a good mix of locals and visitors to the local hotels. This tends to create a rolling atmosphere where moms discuss little league ball with traveling salesmen. Hi jinks ensue. Star deduction for chain failings, not necessarily the failings of this particular restaurant. The fried goods at any RT are poorly executed with a definite off flavor that is indicative of cheap oil that comes solid in a block. The fried items leave a film of disgustingness in the mouth that cannot be cut with any acid wash. Their fresh items are fresh and one should stick with "real" food when dining at any RTs. read more

I also like their burger with the onion strings & bbq sauce. I wouldn't recommend paying for the salad bar. The food was fantastic and fresh. My steak was cooked just as I ordered, medium rare, which is often the thing restaurants struggle with the most in my opinion. Everywhere I looked staff worked to restock the garden bar and other tasks. My waitress Thrissie was amazing I never waited for a new drink and the lemonades she told me about when I arrived was by far the best lemonade I've ever had. I went last night (have been several times before to this location) , it was ok. My husband had some seafood thing drowned in sauce but he liked it. My salad bar underwhelming as usual. Lettuce seems to always need filled or is slightly brown depending on what type of lettuce. No bacon bits, what the hell? My wife had never been to ruby Tuesday before so we stopped in and placed an order. I ordered an 8oz sirloin with Asiago cheese and crunchy shrimp with sweet potato fries and sautéed mushrooms as the sides. Wife got the same thing except she ordered a 6oz steak and her sides were mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. We started off with a drink each and some shrimp fondu with chips. We were done with the fondu and our drinks and 10 minutes later my wife had to get up and found our waitress sitting at the bar, told her we need two more drinks. My wife came back and sat down and a couple minutes later the waitress came with our food. Let's say I have had bigger burgers at McDonald's that actually looked better than this meal that ruby Tuesday tried to serve us. The waitress left and came back with our drinks. We told her to keep the drinks and the meals. Paid for our other drinks and left. The manager said since we are not paying for the meals did we want to take them home? I don't usually post a review when we eat out, mostly because we don't eat out very often. However, when we do, we expect a decent meal for a decent price and courteous service. This did not happen today, on Father's Day. We decide to go out to dinner. The place we like to go to was packed, so we decided on Ruby Tuesday's because it was close by and the lot was not crowded. We found out why. The young male waiter took our drink orders and then came back to take our food orders. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. He went around the table and totally skipped our granddaughter, then he skipped me. I said something and he acknowledged her and me. He came back and asked my wife what sides she wanted because he forgot to write them down. He didn't even ask my daughter-in-law what sides she wanted until I corrected him. We had to ask for refills. The food came. He forgot our granddaughter's french fries and my son's green beans. When mine did not arrive, we asked and he had forgotten to turn it in. My wife's steak, ordered med rare was well done. OK, I guess that could have been the kitchen, but with everything else, I wonder. When mine did finally arrived, everyone else had mostly finished eating, so I asked for a to-go box and the manager. She arrived and listened to all that had happened, apologized profusely and, to their credit, said she would talk to the server and comped the entire meal. That did not make it an enjoyable meal but helped some. We had not been there in a number of years. I now remember why. We may not eat out again for a while if this is what we have to look forward to. Ruby Tuesday's used to be a wonderful place to have a nice meal.
