We chose smash burgers from the STREAT Kitchen. I got the Street Smash and upgraded my chips to tater tots. The burger comes on a large, Hawaiian bread type bun which holds up well with all that's going on in between the bun. The sauce they use is very flavorful with the pickles, cheese, and lettuce enhancing the taste of the burger. I highly recommend. Hubby got the American Smash and really enjoyed his as well. If we were staying in the area longer, I would come back to try other food and play some of the games.

We completely understand that a preferred table may not be available immediately, and we are always more than willing to wait. Unfortunately, our request was initially met by the hostess with an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. She acted as though accommodating my dad's request was unreasonable or impossible, despite us making it clear that we were happy to wait. Her behavior was disappointing and lacked compassion for someone with an invisible disability. After speaking with the manager and explaining that we were willing to wait for a suitable table, they were able to accommodate us without issue. This made it clear that the request was not unfeasible--it simply needed to be handled with a little understanding. To make matters worse, once we were seated, the hostess threw the menus onto the table and walked away without saying anything. It felt disrespectful and unnecessary, especially considering the circumstances. My hope is simply that staff receive more education about invisible disabilities and the challenges many veterans face after their service. A little kindness, patience, and empathy can make a significant difference for guests living with conditions that aren't always visible.
