The good was the person who took my order- she was professional and courteous. The salad was ok for a fast food salad although a bit overpriced. I frequently use the drive thru. It is a wonderful experience whenever Ms. Myrtle is the staff member on duty. No matter how busy she is, Ms. Myrtle takes excellent care of the customers. This store have to be the worst in the Elizabethtown/ Louisville area. Coming here is playing Russian roulette with your money. It's always slow with long lines, order be missing items and not correct. Some days the lobby be closed for a thousand reason. Today my Zensation salad have ingredients missing. The new chicken tacos were actually good. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with the chicken strip taco, but the chipotle, ranch, and the pico de gallo set it off! It was a little messy to eat and definitely was messy in the packaging. Overall, I would come back and eat this again. My only complaint with this location is the lady who works the drive-through. I don't understand why they always put Myrtle on the drive-through. She is not the most friendliest and welcoming person. And placing your order through the drive-through speaker with her is always difficult. You would think that you would want a friendly inviting welcoming person greeting your customers as they come through the drive-through. After Myrtle handed me my card back, and my order I politely said thank you, (as I always do everywhere) and she shut the window on me without a response. We don't have Zaxby's in South Florida so we decided to give it a try since we love good chicken items. Spent over $27 on two chicken sandwich combos and two sides. The $4.39 fried pickles were just freezer to fryer and the $4.39 cheese bites were flavorless. I was hoping for something similar to cheese curds. But these had no flavor or texture to melted cheese. I had asked for the spicy version on my sandwich and the other was original. Both sandwiches came plain no spicy one. They had just opened but our fries were Luke warm. Sorry if this sounds like a launder list of complaints but just an honest review of our experience. On the positive side our cashier was friendly and cordial. She engaged us in conversation after our order was rang up. Also the facility was clean and inviting. But this will probably be my last time at a Zaxby's. read more

The kiddo wanted to celebrate the last day of school and requested Zaxby's. It's been a long time since I've been to one. We order the family tender meal with sauces and fries and drinks. The price was fair. It was a lot of chicken strips and not enough sauce ratio. But the chicken was hot and well cooked, the fries were well seasoned and fresh and hot. This Zaxbys location is very good. Their food is consistently fresh and hot. Service is also consistently good. The drive though is sometimes a little slow but that's because they make everything as it is ordered. I always get the big Cobb salad with fried chicken. It has egg, bacon, fried inions, cucumber, and cheese. It also comes with fresh toast. They have the best ranch dressing and I always order an extra pack. Pretty sure everyone has already had Zaxby's. Only difference for us was we were in a different city. Store had the entrances marked for enter and exit only. Employees that we came across had a mask on. They had an employee working the drink and condiment counter. There was a large glass/plexiglass section in front of the cashier. Unlike the last couple places we have been with no air - they had the air cranked on freezer mode. Tables were marked which ones available to sit at. At inside as well as several other customers. I can't understand why places like this charge for extra sauces. The meals are already expensive enough. Then if you try DoorDashing, there's no way to actually order extra sauces. In the seven years I've lived in Elizabethtown, I've always loved coming to Zaxby's and getting their chicken finger plate. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. If you go through the drive thru, you can hardly understand a single thing the employee is saying because their speaker is almost broken and pretty much only projects static. Also, if you want any extra sauces, you have to pay 25 cents for each and aren't guaranteed they'll be in the bag. I ordered an extra ranch and didn't realize until I got home that they didn't include it. Overall, I'm disappointed with their service and food and likely won't return. Update: A year later. My favorite things to order are the Zaxbys's club, Kickin Chicken Sandwich and the Cajun Club. The wings are fantastic, especially boneless. This Zaxby's always has hot food and great fast service. Went through drive thru tonight for some teriyaki and hot honey mustard wings. I wasn't too crazy about the "Hot Honey Mustard" wings I ordered because to me--its sort of false advertisement because those wings aren't hot but I suppose for people who can't stand true heat, those wings are probably hot to them. Luckily, I also ordered teriyaki wings which served as a perfect compliment to the (2B Thai) Fried Rice I ordered prior to going to Zaxby's. Yeah, I know....some hell of a combination and it's a lot to go to two different places for a meal, but I'm a foodie so I'll go to the ends of the earth trying new things. Each Zaxby's is franchised so there is nothing that can be done. The food is fine, thus worthy of 2 stars, but that's if you get what you order.
