This is located in Social on Main which is another review entirely!! Very cool concept. This is a wood fired oven pizza joint with many many different choices in pizzas, it can be hard to decide!! They've also got some really cool varieties of crushed red pepper flakes. Everything is made fresh so obviously you have a bit of a wait as they assemble your pizza and then cook it. The lady taking orders was knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions. Sweet heat pizza has an excellent combo of, well, sweet and heat. The jalapeños aren't overpoweringly hot as is often the case on these pepperoni/jalapeño/honey pizzas that are all the rage with the hipster kiddos.

A solid 5 star meal. I got the Greek Freak pizza. It was flavorful and delicious. The crust was a touch overdone. But that can happen with woodfired pizza. And I watched the dude doing the cooking actively working to cook the pizza as evenly as possible so that the top is melty and hot without overcooking the bottom. Not only was the pizza delicious but they had a lot of different pepper combinations. I love pepper and this intrigued me. I tried a couple different ones. They were fabulous. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. This is inside the Social on Main establishment - which is like an upscale food court. That description doesn't do it justice. It was pretty cool!!

The pizza place inside Social on Main. The food is a little pricey but made fresh and pretty tasty so be prepared to wait especially when it is busy. There is shared space for tables to sit as you wait then dine. They sell some non-alcoholic drinks and you can get your alcohol drinks at the bar. Definitely worth a taste.

Head over heels in love with this place. I am always crying about how Etown doesn't have any places that really knock your socks off. This one is it, and I will be coming here loyally for any and all pizza needs. So many great things to say. I love the variety of their menu! There's definitely something for everyone, including snobby me. You can get a simple pizza (nothing wrong with that, especially ones of this quality), or something a little more adventurous and thoughtful. I've never had a bad pie here. I've been loving working through their menu. The Italian meats one has my heart at the moment, but I have a big heart and there is room for many favorites. I also need to venture out of pizza and try their other offerings. Everything looks so good! The staff is awesome, and the locale being inside the new Social on Main building isn't half bad either. I am always feeling like I'm having to drive up to Louisville when I want something nicer, more elevated. Thank you to Maillard for saving me the gas money and being the best new part of my rotation.

Wood Fired Wings - Memphis BBQ

If you are a fan of Wood fired pizza, this place has some of the best crust in town. We had the Italian sausage pizza, which was 12" - and 6 piece wings (Memphis bbq style.) This was the perfect amount of food for two people to split. The staff were friendly, and the food came up quick! They have plenty of spices, seasonings, and sauces for to go. They are also DoorDash friendly and easy to find, just to the right as you walk in. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting social on main!

Ube cheesecake

If you're not from here, take note, it is inside Social on Main!! This hidden gem was worth it! The chicken pesto pizza had the right balance of chicken, thinly sliced red onions and sun-dried tomatoes. The Ube cheesecake was a tasty surprise. Who knew vegetables could taste so fabulous! It was so pretty I had to take a picture. The service was pleasant, fast and educational! We will be back!

Rustica Pizza

This was by far one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Great char on the crust and phenomenal flavor combination.

We ordered a half Popeye and Olive Oil and half margarita pizza. Delightful!

My mother and I enjoy a good lunch lately on our Saturday outings. My mother, who has a wood-burning pizza oven, was ready willing and hungry to try some professional wood fired pizza! The staff were very kind and helpful. She shared with us the best sellers and her favorites. She explained their twist on some of the pairings. All of their pizzas are 10"- great size for sharing or a hungry individual! We landed on a 1/2 and 1/2 of the margarita and Popeye and Olive Oil. The Mozzarella cheese thick yummy chunks. The tomato sauce was flavorful. The feta, caramelized onions and mushrooms *chef's kiss* perfect! I had to go back and rave to them about our lunch and promised to spread the word. They said they hope to start salads so

Now that they have established in Social on Main. My review for the pizza doesn't change. Still some of the best brick oven pizza I've had.

Family legend has it that my ancestors left Ireland for the new world to survive during the great…read morepotato famine, little could they know that generations later, an offspring would come face to face with the great Elizabethtown McAlisters potato famine. One month ago, I stopped in for lunch, I had a real craving for a baked potato. I stood in line for over 20 minutes - the lines move slow when you want a baked potato in this restaurant. I got to the counter, knowing full well I'd be late back to work due to the slow service at this particular location, placed my order for a delicious baked potato only to be met with "we don't have any spuds" I felt a stronger connection to my Irish kinfolk that day. I changed my order for a bowl of potato soup. The soup was a typical mediocre bowl of potato soup with maybe 4 actual pieces of potato in a creamy sauce. Boring. Approximately four weeks after this visit, my entire family decided they wanted to go to McAlister's - the same location nonetheless. I thought to myself "self, surely they have potatoes now!" (Foreshadowing). We arrived and, dreaming of delicious baked potatoes, we all each ordered a meal with a half spud. I had the honor of paying the large sum and I even left a generous tip because I was so excited that they had baked potatoes (they call them spuds). I usually don't tip for counter service - but I was just so excited. Finally, the Irish curse was broken. We Will Have Potatoes! We got our gigantic, flimsy tea cups and made our way to our table. Many minutes later. 8 or 9 minutes? A person came over to announce "we don't have spuds. You need to reorder." Suddenly it was the 19th century all over again. The entire family decided to migrate to another restaurant next door. I asked for a refund. The employee left then came back and said "they are going to refund your money and give you the food even still" Oh my. Decision time. Free food that we don't really want or go next door. I voted to leave. My ancestors have been through this before. Not again I said! I got out voted. We spent the next 10 minutes deciding and working to re-order all the food again. The food came. It was ok. Perhaps I was jaded because of the whole potato (um...spuds) thing. The next day I checked my card account online. They didn't refund the meal. We ended up paying for food we didn't really want. We should have gone to the place next door. To be fair, the folks were nice and pleasant. The store was clean and well organized. One last thing: Don't get the cookies. Not worth the cost. Save the money and the calories and find something better at the Bundt cake store! So long McAlister's, I must honor the ancestors and bid you farewell. I'll be getting my baked potatoes elsewhere- maybe that new giant Kroger has a good deal on potatoes....i mean spuds. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on the spuds.
