I never hear anyone talk about Pizza Mood in any sort of way, so I thought I'd finally try it. I ordered a small Gyro pizza for $12.71 and was presented with this pathetically tiny thing. This is grounds for a personal pizza, not a small. The price for portion doesn't really check out, either. The pizza itself had a good visual presentation. It had an okay flavor and the edge was nice and crispy. However, they went a bit overboard with tomatoes and onions as that was one of the wettest pizzas I've ever had. It could have yielded a better flavor if it wasn't drowning in juices, and the center was a bit mushy from all of it. Edible, but not the most enjoyable pizza. Service was really the only honorable mention as the gentleman inside greeted me right away and was very courteous. Overall,this wasn't a good first impression and I'll likely stick with other pizza options in the vicinity.

The decor looked like a time capsule from the 1980's, in a good way. The entire experience felt much like I remember Pizza Hut being when I was a kid. My server was very busy and overworked, but had a positive and friendly attitude and I can't fault her. . .she was doing the most she could with as over-worked as she was. The reasons it wasn't a five-star review (and these are all things they could fix) 1. They had an arcade machine at the front (which is a wonderful retro Pizza Hut touch). . .but it was broken! It would have been nice to play some arcade game at a Pizza Hut again. 2. When I walked in when the lunch buffet opened at 11 AM, they didn't have any pizzas out, because they apparently got started cooking them late. There was a line of people waiting to eat when the pizzas came out. 3. They were horribly under-staffed. A busy Pizza Hut with only two employees? One front-of-house and one back-of-house? The server said they were hiring in case anyone needed a job, but being under-staffed definitely harmed the experience.

I am now visiting for the 4th year and I have had two bad experiences here. The service is nonexistent literally, on my first visit the staff pulled some young girl sweeping the floor to take my order and then I never saw her again. I was lucky to get my food delivered to my table. I had to get up to get fountain drink refills from the front while the staff seemed annoyed to help me. I never received a check just left forgotten in the dining room. Now fast forward two weeks, I say to myself maybe I just came at a bad time or they were having a bad night. I figured on a Saturday night they'd be staffed up and ready for customers. I arrive and ask to dine in and the staff acts like I'm annoying them and I'm told by a grizzled gentleman in the kitchen "it's gonna be awhile I don't have any servers". I then wished them a good night and went on my way. They should just close the dining room and remove classic from the sign. I will not be returning to this poorly run pizza hutt.
