It looks like a small mom and pop spot in an older space. Then you walk in and see they are building something strong. The Service was quick, staff was Friendly Helpful and attentive. No issues. Now for the Food. I was impressed. Good Mediterranean food in Louisville is rare. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and the food delivered. She ordered a chicken gyro. Her fries came out fresh and seasoned. Her sandwich was the best gyro we have had in Louisville. I ordered the Sparta bowl lunch portion. Fresh, flavorful, and balanced. Nothing negative to say. Overall. If you have not been here you should make time to visit. Nobody is perfect so here is my minor nitpick. I ordered a Sparta bowl and did not get a fork. I walked back up and grabbed one. If that is the worst problem they have, they are doing something right. I look forward to going back.

Drake's came up in our search so we meandered on over. Best to put yourself on the wait list before going. The place was busy. We were escorted to our table (114) which is the screened indoor patio area. Looking over the menus a young man named Luke came by and apologized for us having to wait long (which we had not been waiting long). Said it was not his table but was willing to help out a fellow co-worker as she was slammed. We told him that we were going to keep him as our server. He's got a great personality and fun to have conversations with. He took our drink order and was allowed to take over our table service. The menu is quite diverse and has many many choices. We placed our food order. Fried bologna sandwich with sweet potato fries on wheat bread. (Ask for a side of caramel to dip, your sweet potato fries in) Tailgate burger, no ketchup no mustard and the Drake's fries. Alison was our food runner. Luke came back during our meal and we were able to chat in a non-rushed way. This is not a local one off place. There are several locations but it did not feel like a franchise chain. Definitely a place for you to stop at if there's one in the area along your travels. Taylor the manager stopped by to see how our experience was. We gave nothing but compliments and admiration. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. And at $43.73 out the door I think it was a good deal.

We told the server we wanted to share with the table 2 orders of sushi rolls of steak & tuna, but weren't given small plates or soy sauce dishes. they chairs are a bit far from the table, so you would have to be sitting right at the edge without having your back supported comfortably. We were celebrating birthdays so we were given complimentary cookie with ice cream & that was pleasant.
