Bubs was a great spot. I had some time to kill and was craving breakfast, I'm glad that I picked this spot. Great value and service, coffee was also great. The early morning crowd was very friendly and the lighting in the restaurant is good for early morning, I can appreciate not being blinded by bright LED lights at 6am. read more

I love this place to death, anybody asks me where they should go for breakfast I tell them Bub's. The people, the food, the decor, it's all equally amazing. I love small places that make you feel comfortable and welcome, and they sure do. I'm really fond of their waffles and bacon, I get it almost every time I go. That and a coffee. The only downside is that I wish they were open for longer because their lunch is REALLY good too, which honestly says something due to them mainly being a breakfast place. However, them mainly being a breakfast place explains the hours, so I can't complain too much. Besides, me being a late riser and them an early closer saves me some money in my wallet, and makes it an occasional Treat. read more

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Good service in spite of large crowds! Enjoy your visit!

Jacob and Ryan are the best. Food is delicious and service is always great. We usually do lunch there once a week.

I do not care for the style of cooking. But I do appreciate the fact that they give free soup and a sandwich once a week or in extreme cold weather. read more

Best , ( mom pop) breakfast place. I'm down here building the new ford plant. This is our (rain day, breakfast spot) I'm not a drinker but I guess you can get breakfast drinks here. . Typically kinda quiet.(normal talking) lots of older home town people that love to talk it up with anyone. Service is quick and they'll do anything possible to make you happy. Shirley special is my favorite. Definitely filling. Prices are normal. . You'll definitely enjoy. read more

Bub's is what we refer to in Jersey as a "great Greasy Spoon" diner! There is no greater compliment for a breakfast/lunch joint like this. Small menu, everything executed perfectly, the friendliest service in Kentucky all at a more than fair price. Bub's is where the Etown locals go to eat breakfast, drink coffee and visit. Regulars include retired military, first responders, local business leaders, but whether you are are a regular or a first-timer you are treated as FAMILY. All of the food is good, but my faves are the French Toast, any of the omelettes and the Biscuits and Gravy. Hands down, the Best Breakfast in Etown! read more

What a surprise.... I've been going past this little gem of an eatery for over a year. On a random shopping trip, I decided to explore the different shops and decided to try Bub's. I love the atmosphere and the food. It is my now favorite breakfast / brunch place. read more

A good local diner, where everyone knows your name, if you're from Etown. They definitely have their "Saturday morning regulars", as I've been here a handful of times and noticed the same groups at the same tables. The menu is small, offering your basic breakfast items, and they do a good job with those. I've heard they have pretty good chili but they only offer it during the winter months. The staff isn't overly friendly but are attentive and service is fairly quick despite it always being busy during the breakfast hours. A local diner serving not too greasy, good, unpretentious breakfast. read more

Had breakfast here. You can't go wrong with their waffles, or anything else that they serve. Waffles are new though. Wait staff is excellent. We come here often. Nothing spectacular about the ambiance, just a good mom and pop diner. read more

While traveling we were looking for a local place. We had a good home style breakfast. It was one of those places they know their regular customers by name. It was great service . My husband is kinda of a pancake snob, he really liked his pancake , and the coffee was good. read more

I always eat here, I always will eat here. Even after I retire, I'll drive the 45 minutes to come eat here. The place is always clean, the service is always prompt, polite and professional. The atmosphere is almost like what the show Cheers was like. Everyone is friendly. And if you like bacon OMG! The bacon is the best I've ever had anywhere hands down, and I've been around, 11 1/2 years Army, 22 years state police. If you're around Elizabethtown KY looking for a good quality breakfast at a low price look up Bub's Cafe, you'll be glad you listened. read more

Great service, nice tuna salad for lunch. They even gave me an extra pickle. I'll be back Bub.

In the area for a baseball tournament and wanted a good breakfast. This place was amazing. You must get the bacon

Great food and service....our go to for breakfast when we visit Etown....highly recommend for breakfast.....

Decided to have a little breakfast at Bub's with some of #myladyribe. As soon as we walk in my daughter is instantly enamored by the decor. Bicyles and several minature cars dangling from overhead. In the mist of this locomotive display, a clown is parachuting into the center of the room. I realize you probably didnt pull up this review to read about the interior design but my 5 year old spent the entire breakfast pointing out various details and asking questions about the signs and little trinkets here and there. For all you parents with littles....This would be a great place to play "I spy!" with the kids! Uhhhmmmm.....moving on I'm giving Bub's 4 stars. I ordered the biscuit and gravy platter. My food felt a bit rushed. My biscuit was very crunchy on the bottom and the sausage was a wierd pinky color. One the bright side though...the gravy itself was a homerun! And the bacon was the best I've had in awhile. The staff was very polite and our food was delivered 12 minutes after ordering. All and all, the consensus for the table was that this is a solid breakfast spot!j read more
