I had bad service last time I came. I don't know why I came again. This is my fault. I told the server what I wanted. It took them three separate times to get my order right which was crazy because it was just two biscuits with two kinds of meat that's on their menu And two eggs anyway you want them. So when I initially received my food, it wasn't even warm and every time they took it back to fix it which was two separate times they didn't replace anything and so the food was cold by time. They finally got it right it was really disgusting to eat, but like I said it was my fault I came back won't come back again. It cost me $19 for breakfast. Food was some of the worst I have had in a long time. My scrambled eggs were flat and rubbery (I was not even able to eat them). My "toast" was like stale. Read (no brown on them at all). I sent them back to be done again, the hash browns were requested to be crisp (they were not, one side not even warmed and cold on one side). These also got sent back. I should Have sent the eggs back but had already made the waitress (Megan - who was very good) take back stuff so I just didn't eat them. The bacon was good. My first impression of this place was not good. There was a wait even though the place was half empty. Part of it had to do with the lady working the front of the house. They had her doing triple duty. She had to seat new customers, check-out those leaving and roll silverware before seating people. She just couldn't handle it all. Once seated things got much better. The server was good and efficient. She greeted us pretty quickly and got our drinks to us right away. The food was decent. I had some kind of breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuits/gravy. My sister had an omelet and my mom had a breakfast bowl. Everyone said their food was good. I hadn't eaten at a Bob Evans in years but it was the only place open serving breakfast at 10:30 when we exited the highway. The food was solid--the menu had many choices, a lot more than I remembered and the lunch items looked pretty great as well. While our service was friendly it was (as many have noted on this page) incredibly slow. I'm pretty sure you should be able to serve a couple of breakfast platters in less than an hour. Plus, the homefries my wife ordered (forgotten from original plate) were served up fresh from the heat lamp. However, the bulk of our food was decent. read more

My parents and I treated ourselves to Bob Evans for breakfast after our morning coffee. Good. I had a craving for bacon. The restaurant was busy but not packed. We were seated reasonably quickly at a window table. However, the tables were set close together so it was a bit difficult to get comfortable. We all ordered coffee and breakfast platters. Mom and I got the Farmer's Breakfast with French toast and bacon. Dad ordered steak and eggs, medium. Food came out at a reasonable time. (Seriously, between a family selfie and web surfing, who cares about wait time?) My breakfast was hit and miss. Bacon craving fulfilled! I also like chewy bacon over crispy and the cook nailed it. Overeasy eggs held their yolk. However, the hash browns were very bland and both French toast slices were a bit burned on the bottom. I could taste the burn despite powdered sugar and syrup. Mom was indifferent toward her home fries, but dutifully ate the rest of her plate. Dad wolfed his down. His medium leaned much more rare, but it was flavored very well. (Thanks for the bite, bro.) OMG! This is problably our 1st time here...and it was amazing! On a rainy day people tend to find comfort food and saturday we all flock to Bob Evans! It was pretty busy but it didnt take long to be seated. Their menu had a feel of country style options- like cracker barrel, to our surprise and so its staff! A very friendly staff. New on the menu were sweet crepes! (Blueberry and Strawberry.) All our food came together. Our poor waitress had her hands full but she was able to handle her section and loudy babies -some were crying and others just screaming loud! Along with picky customers- A+ on that! We heard her saying...its never this busy and crazy! She was a champ. My eggs benedits were delishhh!! And my blueberry crepe was also yummie. Next time I will order my dessert (crepes) last. The misses and I were out and about and noticed these guys were actually busy for once, so we decided to stop in for a bite. I ordered the honey chicken & biscuit breakfast and my other half ordered the Double Meat Farmer with Brioche French toast. The menu claims that the chicken for the honey butter chicken is a breast, but what I was served was nothing more than a mere tender. I could have shrugged it off if it were not the fact that my tender was completely overcooked, easily seen by the scorched breading, and the meat itself was rubbery. The honey butter, I'm convinced, was just plain ol' butter. My first bite of the chicken was the only one. The hash browns were undercooked in the center. The scrambled eggs and biscuits were ok at best. The fair lady's dish consisted of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and the french toast. Her hash browns were fine, and the eggs and bacon were ok at best, though we are pretty convinced that their eggs and bacon are premade and sit in a warmer. That wasn't the kicker, though. While they battered and cooked one side of both pieces of the french toast, they absolutely ignored the other side. Not a very satisfying visit here. Quality and care does not exist here, for I feel I paid a $30 bill for a kitchen staff to shat on our plates. And I didn't much appreciate our waitress eager to push us out the door the second we sat down. Please allow your patrons more than 15 literal seconds to view the menu before asking them if they're ready to order. TL;DR Version: Quality won't be found here and you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere, if you value your money at all. The Cracker Barrel in town comes to mind. They took my phone number to call and we went to wait outside (inside waiting area is small and was already crowded). We waited outside for 40min, no call. Went inside to them seating other parties who just entered and our name scratched from the list....they said they called, but no call was received and the phone number was correct..Fine whatever, annoying but shit happens. This was our second time here in less than a year, service was extremely slow as it was the first time. The food was good, waitress was attentive without being annoying. We are both homebound due to illness and injury so we ordered the Family Turkey Dinner to be delivered. At 75 dollars for everything, food, delivery, sales tax, and driver tip, I thought, "Well that's a little high, but we need to eat..." and did not have anything thawed out to cook so it was like, "okay, we'll try it." Our family sized meal of turkey, dressing, green beans, coleslaw, cheddar potato soup, and four big cookies arrived sooner than expected and was delivered by a cheerful, friendly driver. When we actually dug into the well packaged food, we found the turkey portions to be 8 small pieces each about the size of two silver dollars piled on top of a mound of dressing "croutons" which were not fully cooked. The green beans were okay, about what you would expect if you were from the city instead of the country. The cheddar potato soup was made from potatoes that were like small french-fries cut up into bite size pieces and of a rubbery texture. The coleslaw was delicious. The dinner rolls were good but not browned. I used the cranberry sauce the next day to make two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The biggest disappointment was the main course of turkey and dressing. There was not enough turkey and the dressing was not as good as "Stove Top Stuffing" which you add boiling water to at home. Never, I repeat, NEVER have I written any review on a meal / business as bad as this place. One star is more than my wife's and my meal deserves. Her cheddar potato soup wasn't even soup. We turned the cup upside down and nothing fell out. It was thicker than a cup of macaroni and cheese. No liquid. No soup. MY Boarder Omelet was nothing more than scrambled eggs folded over a tasteless cheese with diced tomatoes and onions sprinkled on top. The ground up pork sausage resembled a mini-meatball on the side. The employees were fine, pleasant and expressed sympathy regarding our dislike of the meal. Great breakfast with fast and friendly service!

So last weekend I was out doing quite a bit of shopping. I realized that my daughter and I were beginning to get hungry. So I stopped in here. I walked in and saw a host stand with a man standing directly in front of it hanging on the edge. Apparently waiting. He was not staff. I looked forward to the cashier stand and say the host on the phone taking a Togo order. I didn't want to be rude so I waited. It took her about ten minutes to get the order squared away and someone had to help her neither acknowledged me or my daughter. So when they got off the phone one looks up and I say, do I just seat myself here or? ‍ and where goes oh would you like to sit? ‍ like no, Id just like to stand here and watch you take to go orders all day. Needless to say we were off to a rocky start. So I sit down service from my waitress was great food was great. Time to pay.... wellll I walk up to the check out and both girls are up there. Right as I walk up one runs into the restroom and the other stands there. I stare right at her and say, can you take my payment. She says oh sorry I'm off the clock but she'll be right back.... I hope people never walk out on their bills because most of the time it comes out of a waitresses pocket. But seriously had I been one of those people. That would've been my chance. So the young lady returns from the restroom looks at me and asks if I'd like to pay for my bill. ‍ I have never seen so many clueless staff ever. When my cousins' mom passed away, I wanted to get food to my out of state family. I saw there was a Bob Evans in Elizabethtown, Ky where they lived. I went online and ordered the Premium Family Feast. Unfortunately, the online order did not come through, the way I intended. It came through with double the order and I could not tell if Door-Dash was going to deliver it. I immediately called the restaurant and talked with Dee, the manager who jumped into action. She said she would handle the double charge, which came through the very next day. What really surprised me was her stating "if Door-Dash does not pick it up, I will deliver it, on my way home." "Really," I said with somewhat apprehension and astonishment. At 5:15 there was a knock on my cousins door, not only had their meal arrived early, but it was delivered by Dee. In times of Covid, politics and who knows what else is going on in someone's lives, it is nice to see there are truly some good folks in this world.
