    Jalapeño cheddar burger

Stopped there on the way to Nashville. Just a very short hop off I-65. Definitely worth it. Ordered the Jalapeño burger. Whoa! Not sure where they got the jalapeños, but they seemed hotter than other places. Burger was nicely done, even though the lady (one person tending tables and counter) didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. Fries were great. Wife ordered chicken salad sandwich on a crescent. Really good and had added touch of cranberries in it. Large portions all around and not large prices! We drive through this area frequently to go to Nashville, so, probably will make it our lunch stop place!!

Stopped in here on our way to James B Beam distillery for a quick lunch. It was very good. We arrived around 11am and they had just finished breakfast but the server let us know if we wanted breakfast it was still available. We ordered the fried mushroom appetizer and two of the bacon jalapeño cheddar burgers with fries. The server was friendly and our appetizer was brought out promptly. Mushrooms were good with a nice batter and served with ranch. The burgers were very good. They use their own "secret" spice on the fries and they were delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. They offer milkshakes and desserts as well. The diner itself is decorated with nice railroad decor. Good meal! I would recommend stopping if you're in the area. It's just off the highway.

The triple burger with fries. It is a monster and only $11! This place is a gem and just a few min off the highway. Well worth it.

LJDepot diner is a small country diner located in the downtown portion of the small city of Lebanon junction Kentucky just off Main Street. located right across the street from the towns city hall and there memorial city park me and my family along with some family friends came in here this past Saturday late morning for some breakfast. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was playing Swiss Army knife and doing it all. Greeter, waitress, cook and table bussing. She as super nice and accommodating to our large parties needs. The decor here is very nice and gives you that authentic small town country diner feel. Which is good because it is truly and authentically a small country diner. The decor here pays homage to the city and town and Lebanon junction. The menu is pretty straight forward and they do have some things I'd like to come back and try including a taco Tuesday menu and the all you can eat breakfast platter (we showed up past 11am so missed it). Our group started out with an entree of fried green tomatoes. Nothing I'll eat so I didn't try them but everyone at the table who did loved them. For entrees we sampled the menu well. I personally got a fried bologna sandwich and when I asked the owner if they can put an egg on it she gladly did. And it was really good. Very tasty and cheap sandwich. Was very satisfied. The rest of our orders included a chicken salad sandwich, phill cheese steak, crispy chicken salad, cheeseburgers and a jalapeños cheddar burger. Everyone raved about there meals. Everyone was happy with there order and had no complaints. So compliments to the chef/waitress/greeter/owner. Overall very adorable and cozy diner and we will come back. They also offer deserts and milkshakes so that's on our radar in the future. I believe this Saturday they have an Elvis impersonator so it looks like they have live music and events here. Maybe we will stop in on that. Either way we will come back. Cool and tasty place. Owner works hard and deserves good fortune and praise.

Great diner! Friendly staff. Small town feel where the people who come in to pick up orders are greeted by name. Across from a small park. They have a few kids toys for little ones. The food was great. Fries were flavorful, crisp on the outside, and hot. Not far from the highway. A great spot to stop for lunch on a road trip.

Very kind staff and great home comfort food. I recommend the Philly cheesesteak or any of their breakfast food.

We loved having a pre-Derby lunch here! Visiting a friend who lives nearby, she plans to come back!…read more We shared the Duck Poppers which were small but yummy. A nice little treat. Then I ordered the soup and a side of grits, which were both delicious. My husband order the Beef cheek Po Boy - yummy! And my friend ordered the Cuban. The fries are tasty and everything tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared. Of course we saved room for dessert and shared the Banana Cream Pudding. It had a roasted marshmallow top and probably the beat Banana pudding I've had! For drinks, we got the Filly Lilly, A specialty Mint Julio with Thyme in it, and the winner was the Strawberry Rhubarb Buck. Wow! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We sat inside because it was a dreary first half of the day before the sun came out for the Derby! But, there were a lot of nice outdoor areas to sit and enjoy your food or beverages. You will find something you love at the Kitchen Table. I highly recommend!

Order: deviled egg with country ham marmalade with redeye aioli. The perfect bite. Just order it and you will be so happy. Creamy egg with the crunchy texture of the ham. Yum! Duck bomb with cane sugar gastrique. Great combo of sweet and salty. The sauce just brightens the entire dish. Cheese sampler was ok flavor. Toast points were deep fried and seasoned well. Brisket dinner. Just ok. Slightly dry, definitely needed a sauce on the side. The bean medley on the bottom was ok. I don't think i would order again. Honey glazed fried chicken was the star of the show. Perfectly crispy exterior with juicy meat on the inside. The best bite of the day for sure. The surprise of the day was the "french onion soup" inspired mac and cheese. Just a delicious play on a traditional mac and cheese.
