Pulled Pork Sliders

We were at the James Beam Distillery and had lunch at The Kitchen Table which is on the property. We did have a reservation. There were options to dine inside or out, but it was a little cool so we opted for indoors. Our server was good! She kept things moving at the appropriate pace and gave us time to go over the menu. My husband and I both enjoyed the food! I doubt we'll be back here, but if so, we would consider stopping in again!

Be sure to bring your pillow and blanket. The hype is real. I'm still wanting the fried chicken in my life. There is legacy oozing through the entire Kitchen Table staffs attention to detail and craftsmanship. The service was so quick and impressive from start to finish. We had a pork allergy (yep even in the South), and they were accommodating to put the marmalade on the side. The deviled eggs were a yummy starter for the table, but by the time we finished the starter our meal was coming out. The star- oh it was the fried chicken. The lightly battered chicken sang with the hot honey and man-- divine grace.

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Kitchen Table! Located at the top of the hill at the Jim Beam distillery, it is really quite lovely. We made a reservation and were promptly seated and greeted by our server (who was also training a server). Both of them were fantastic. We ordered some drinks and mocktails, which were promptly brought over, and then some appetizers. We got fries (generous portion), deviled eggs (everyone loved them!), and empanadas (tasty pork). For entrees, we ordered some pizzas, and bbq pork sliders. I was so shocked by how quickly the food came out and even more surprised by how delicious my pizza was. The crust was delicious and the pizza toppings were great. I ordered the pepperoni but added ricotta. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop!

Fried chicken. It was smaller than it looks in the photo.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, so I stopped in and ordered the hot honey half chicken. What I was served looked more like a Cornish hen. Big letdown. The service was good and my meal tasted good, but what I paid for was not what I was expecting. It's safe to say I probably won't be a repeat customer.

The Kitchen Table was a perfect addition to Jim Beam. Going on a bourbon tour/tasting and stopping in to grab a bite to eat afterwards is a match made in heaven. The food is delicious, sharable and fun. We got a few pizzas my favorite was the wild mushroom one. I didn't even mind that it didn't have any meat on it. The garlic fries are literally to die for. Go drink some good bourbon and have a great bite after.

Menu from The Kitchen Table at James B. Beam Distilling Co. displays sections for snacks, pizzas, soups, salads, mains, and sweets. Items include smoked pork rinds, Southern cheese spreads, deviled eggs, duck poppers, pulled pork empanadas, smoked wings, Southern caprese, fries, various pizzas, and desserts like bourbon balls and banana pudding. Prices range from $5 to $24. The menu features bourbon and whiskey cocktails, with a header quote about family and welcoming guests. The layout is clean with black text on a white background, and the distillery's logo is at the bottom.

Omg where do I start? Love this place! Beautiful bar and deck area with view of hills. The food was just amazing, our waitress was so sweet and fun. We stopped here for lunch before our barrel tasting. Four of us shared the empanada with white sauce, it was amazing! My husband and I split the crispy chicken and they bought it out on separate plate for us. It was the most amazing crispy chicken I've ever had. I can't wait to come back again for a full meal, and next time, I am not sharing my crispy chicken!

Stopped in for a cocktail after our tour. Food looked so good we ended up ordering the smoked wings as a snack. And some banana pudding! We ate at the bar and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back here again. It wasn't fancy but felt elegant enough for a wedding reception with the amazing views! Beautiful place.

Pros: loved that this was located on the massive Jim Bean distillery property. Nicely designed, and the servers were wonderful. Of course I was enamoured by the different bourbon recipes I watched the bartenders make, and as you guessed it, they perfected a well made old fashioned there. The service was top notch and plated wonderfully Cons: Although the food was presented beautifully and cooked well, it sorta lacked flavor, which was a little disappointing. Also the portions were small considering the price of the food, but I get that this is the price of becoming a popular eating spot. Overall it's really nice with beautiful views, worth the visit!

Smoked wings and homemade pork rinds

Fantastic experience... Great ambience, and perfect location... albeit off the beaten path, if you go plan it around a visit to the distillery, but don't miss out on the amazing food and service of this delicious opportunity!!! The catfish was cooked perfectly, and the collard greens were stuffed with rice with a tomato sauce that somehow worked with the dish... the homemade pork rinds were fine, but the smoked wings were amazing and washing it down with an old-fashioned made by the professionals who invented bourbon as we know it cannot be beat!!! Don't miss out, it's worth the drive...

The Kitchen Table is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Their food is incredible, great drinks, and awesome service! Their brisket served over grits is phenomenal!! Probably the best brisket I've ever had. Their fried chicken is unique. It has hot honey on it so it's slightly sweet--very good!! It's definitely worth the drive from the city. I just wish they were open for dinner. It'd be a great date night spot.

The image shows a parking lot with a designated handicap parking space in the foreground, occupied by a gray vehicle. The lot is mostly empty, with some trees and landscaped bushes nearby. In the background, there is a building labeled 'James B. Beam,' identified as a distillery, with a clear blue sky overhead and the sun shining brightly. The scene suggests a sunny day at a distillery location, with scenic outdoor surroundings.

Wonderful place for a bite and adult beverages associated with Jim Beam Distillery. Only a mile from the interstate makes it nice. Casual atmosphere with very friendly, wonderful service also adds to the experience. Would recommend any of the pizza varieties

Very nice restaurant at the James Bean distillery. Drinks were excellent and the food was good as well. Half rib portion was very good. Our server Haley was very professional and did. A good job.

The last time we went they had a special menu with some high end options and it was delicious!!!! We had no idea and did not have a reservation and it filled up fast so we had to sit at the bar but the service and food was still great. We sat at the bar next to a few other folks, the bartender asked us if we knew what we would like. I asked for a menu, she said she didn't have them out right now and would come back to take our order. The bartender returned and my partner explained that we weren't sure what we wanted to order, that it was our first time in and asked if there was a menu we could view. The bartender responded with, ''no menus, it's easier that way''. I was taken back by not only the comment, but the tone of her voice (clearly not happy with our request). I turned to my boyfriend and said, let's go somewhere else! The speakeasy wasn't crowded, but, was part of the Elizabethtown St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. I don't believe that should have any effect on the regular menu or quality of service. We were disappointed with our experience (lack of) especially on such a special day. We skipped down the road to Bourbon Barrel Tavern and received excellent service and tasty cocktails.
