According to my friend, the have the best burgers in Etown! ‍ There are a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant (maybe 5, with 2-3 slots being reserved for handicap). My partner and I did not have to wait to be seated since the friends we were meeting had already arrived and got a table. We greeted our friends then reviewed the menu. Since it was around 12ish on a Sunday, only the brunch menu was available. Not long after, our waitress arrived to take drink orders. Shortly after that, and after the drinks arrived - pineapple mimosas, apple juice, and water, we ordered our food...mostly everyone had a burger. I had the Texan burger/sandwich which came on a Texas toast, hence the name, and my partner had the Newberry Smash burger (double). Each came with a choice of "regular" fries or tots. I wanted sweet potato fries, but again, since it was Sunday, only the brunch menu and what was displayed was available. So, I settled for regular fries. My burger was good albeit a bit messy with the sunny side egg running everywhere! The bacon topping the burger was perfectly done with the right crispy/crunchy consistency. My mimosas was refreshing except I did not get much of a pineapple taste. The fries were fresh and appropriately seasoned, not too salty and not too bland, just right. We were all full from our meals so we did not even consider dessert! The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded, so the atmosphere was quite. In my recent experience they brought us a bottle of water shortly after sitting but no glasses to pour the water into. 20 mins later we finally received glasses for our water after going to the bar and asking, only to be told that she was filling them. 10 mins later a basket of dinner rolls was brought to us with no plates to put them on. After another 10 mins of wonder if our meal was on the way, we decided to just start eating the dinner rolls. 15 mins later they came around with a cart and asked if someone wanted beef. I took the beef but the three ladies at my table preferred chicken so I paused to eat but figured with the delays that they wouldn't be coming soon and decided to eat. It took the sponsor of our event to tell the staff that there were three people at this table who needed a plate. By that time, I had already finished my meal, the server had taken my plate, and nobody was hungry anymore. We decided to go elsewhere for a meal after paying our respects to the family. The menu changes often, which is great for anyone who frequents Tony's! You can't get bored or be too familiar, there are new menu items every time we go. Not only does Tony know what he's doing, but his staff is on point - so attentive and friendly. For a seemingly upscale place you're free to be as casual or dressy as you like and you will be welcomed warmly. If the fried green tomatoes appetizer is available it is a must! I also recommend the cheesy bites/cheesy puffs, I can't recall the exact name. My in-laws are huge fans of the hummus too. For dinner I cannot even tell you everything I've tried - lasagna, steaks, oysters, a hot brown, various pasta dishes - and all were amazing! Tony's does not disappoint! There was blackened chicken, fettuccini and penne, meatballs, Alfredo and marinara sauces, as well as a homemade dill ranch for the salad that everyone kept asking about. (I'm probably forgetting some things.) Tony's also did our cake and it was delicious! There were layers of chocolate, ganache, and whipped truffles with a white buttercream and cream cheese frosting. We provided a topper and told their baker to arrange it however she thought looked best and it was lovely! She also coordinated everything day-of and helped is out by arranging the mini cupcakes we had ordered elsewhere around the cake table when our venue coordinator was MIA. Everyone was a pleasure to work with leading up to our big day! So easy, I wish all of our vendor experiences had been so smooth. The homemade strawberry ice cream was recommended by Tony so we got it for dessert. It was a disappointment. It was served in a very small glass tea cups and was a liquid with slices of strawberry. The waitress knew it was not appealing since it didn't freeze well when it was made yet served it to us anyway. I didn't eat much of mine. The strawberries were good. My friend paid the bill so I don't know the total cost of my meal. But, the prices on the menu were all very reasonable for the quantity of food. Glad we tried this restaurant.
