I bit into a whole tooth pick in my Birria Burrito. I called and they were so cheap that they only refunded the burrito and not anything else. I ended up calling their sister location in Etown to speak to the owner also. At the Radcliff location (where this happened) they said chips do *not* come with queso and guac. First time while in town for work and I look forward to future return trips for this. Tried the Hot Cheeto Burrito + chips & salsa. Chips may be fresh in house, definitely warmed at least. First time at the Radcliff Papis. I ordered a burrito that I always get at Papis in Etown. It has eggs in it and it is amazing. Ordered it today and it had egg shells in it. I was unsure what was making the crunch in my mouth and quite honestly got scared. I have texture issues and so I quit eating it. I pulled egg shells out of the second half. The Mexican food is Kentucky good. I am from NJ, been to TX and lived in SoCal. This is as good as it gets and it'll do the trick if you're craving some Mexican food. The Cali burrito was good, sucks that you have to pay extra for other fillings especially it being a small ish burrito. The adobada tacos are on the dry side but I've had worst. Hands down the best Mexican food in the area! You can tell a lot about a Mexican restaurant based on their horchata. They also have Jamaica and a variety of Jarritos. The indoor seating gives you that cozy mom & pop feel. The dark walls and natural lighting with Spanish music playing brings a very warm and welcoming vibe. Service is great as well. I'm definitely coming here more often. The food reminds me of the same Mexican food I grew up eating Southern California. Found this place on accident. Oh what a happy delicious accident!! Went next door to do our taxes and had to wait. Just happened to catch the sign waving out front that said TACOS. We went in and gave it a try. The smells coming from this place are heavenly. I tried the crunchy taco. Wow I think that's the best taco I've had. I also got an order of French fries. Yes I know! But they were little and good. My husband tried the Picadillo ground beef on a soft taco. He also tried the supreme burrito - chicken. That thing was so heavy. By far one of my favorite spots in town. The Hot Cheeto Burrito and the Hot Cheeto Fries are the items I would recommend the most. The Papi's burrito is also a solid choice. I really like Papi's Tacos! I swing by there on my way home often. I usually get the Mar y Tierra burrito (basically surf and turf with shrimp and steak). Normally I don't like green peppers, but their's in the burrito are really good. I also love their crispy tacos when they are fresh out of the fryer. They have a variety of drinks including some special Mexican drinks like horchata. The decoration looks nice and it has a nice environment. Parking was fine and the cashier was super friendly. I ordered a steak California Burrito and an horchata. The horchata was bomb.com. The burrito in the other hand. The meat was too salty. No seriously, it tasted as if someone poured mounds of salt into the Carme asada. I could not finish it all. It literally reminded me of swimming in a salty ocean.
