This place is by far the best Mexican food you'll find in the area or maybe anywhere. Everything I've tried from Papi's has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and most of them know my name. My favorite meat is the adobada meat, and my favorite menu items are the tacos, chimichanga, California burrito, nacho burrito, chorizo breakfast burrito, and the super nachos. Service is slow. They're tacos, a couple corn tortillas, meat, cilantro, onions. I think it would take maybe 1 minute for an amateur to make 4 tacos. Certainly faster than a Jimmy John's sub. It took 20 minutes. It was empty and I know they had other to-go orders and I did order a burrito but 20 minutes?? I say 5 minutes tops. The meat was definitely sitting in a tub of its drippings all day. It had good flavor but the carne asada and the al pastor had hard chunks that were almost teeth breaking. They're pretty sloppy about putting the tacos together, surprising as it took 20 minutes for my 4 tacos. They didn't drain the fatty oil as they topped my tortillas with the meat. Maybe they don't have a slotted spoon. Anyway my tortillas were so oily I could have wrung it out and dropped the oil off at the nearby KFC for their fried chicken. Okay, full disclosure, I did get one crunchy taco, still I don't think it should have added 15 minutes to the wait. I mention the crunchy taco because it's their only saving grace. It was in a word, epic. Simple ingredients in a freshly fried flour tortilla. Freaky slow, but would be a 5 star if they served only their crunchy taco. read more

Hands down best tasting tacos...the place is very small so it's not really a hang out and chill...however the food it's worth it. I expected more bang for your buck from the fajitas the portion was small but def good. Chimichanga was delicious and I don't normally eat chimi. Def worth the drive and get the burritos. First time trying their tacos and they were wetter than wet. additional ad-ons were complimentary when I asked which was great. Some locations charge for additional limes and sauces. Everyone knows how expensive limes are when buying at your local markets. The staff are nice and well mannered. They understand even if it's your first time being at their establishment. Nice location off Wilson rd. I was able to walk and place my to go order. They do require mask insides. I asked the gentleman who took my order for recommendations. He mentioned the adobada taco and I got 2 carne asada and I saw that they had a taco box ( 3 tacos and side of rice and beans). I also picked up a hard to get jarritos Guava and paid and was able to get back in my car and pull around to the drive thru window. It took at few minutes and he popped out had everything bagged up. Everything smelled amazing, the aroma filled my car within seconds. Once I got to my destination, I got to chowing down. The carne asada was soft and flavorful and full to the tortilla brim. The rice was seasoned well and the beans were okay, the cheese was a nice touch and was melted by the time I got to it. The pork adobada was delicious as well. Just hit the taco craving I was having. There are more items on the menu that are definitely worth trying. They have take out, call ahead ordering and even work with grubhub and door dash. Don't sleep on this place. read more

First, keep in mind this is a taco truck so they may not be at this particular address for long. They are so brand new that they weren't ready to hand out business cards or share a web page but that doesn't stop me from keeping in the excitement of finding these guys. It is in hopes that the word passes quickly to get them busy enough to move to a brick and mortar! So, I've only tried one thing so far, but do intend to come back and update on the other items. They list a breakfast burrito, Beef and Chicken burrito (those are on the definitely will try list), tacos (of course!) and the MUST HAVE, DON'T MISS...Carne Asada Fries!!! San Diegans this is the closest option for us transplants near Ft Knox, KY. They do sell Mexican Coke but alas, no horchata. Quality is somewhat inconsistent- some days it is too salty, sometimes they get your order wrong but we do think that may have something to do with a glitch in their POS system. The chicken taco is good, I'm not as obsessed as the carne asada taco but the flavor is good, the chicken is overflowing and the crunch of raw, white onions and cilantro on top is the perfect combination. This is a delicious food truck and probably one of the better food finds in the area. The young people working were courteous and friendly. I had the Barbacoa Tacos and they were an absolute sweet delicious mess. Served with a nice portion of chopped cilantro and spicy salsa this food truck really hit the spot!! I do wish the tortillas were a bit thicker. The wet ingredients (especially if you flood them with lime juice like I do) make them fall apart.
