Service was slow but everything came out right. We're picky eaters so I'm kinda a pain to wait on. The waitress was patient and my food came out correct. Worth the wait. Thank you for actually understanding eggs over medium means the white is done and the yolk is runny. AND crispy bacon is not burnt like some places do. read more

Had a great breakfast here! There was plenty of seating with a very open floor design. The staff was super friendly and reminded us to what we bought came with endless pancakes and asked if we wanted more. The portions are good and fed our family for a reasonable price for a delicious breakfast that made us all happy. read more

My husband and I returned to this IHOP in Elizabethtown Kentucky this evening for dinner. The service was phenomenal! The waitress Jennifer quickly greeted us with a huge smile, welcoming us and seated us very quickly. There are so many new options on the new menu to choose from. We absolutely love this IHOP and the food is delicious. Not to forget they have the best coffee anywhere in town! We will always be returning customers. Hope everyone that is looking for a new favorite restaurant will most certainly check this IHOP out as they have the very best breakfast, lunch and dinner on the menu. The atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxing. Thank you always IHOP in Elizabethtown! We will most certainly be back soon! read more

Not worth a rating, the place is run down, the parking lot itself is a indicator of the lack of ownership, took my wife out for breakfast, walked in waited 10 minutes to be seated, there was no greeter the entire time we where there, they where taking turns seating people, finally seated and waited again to get drinks, the waitress was cleaning tables instead of being a waitress, the ceiling vents had condensation coming down all over the place, we had to be careful not to get dripped on, the health department needs to do something, it's a hazard just walking in the place, back to the waitress, the people that came in after us got there food before we ordered, way under staffed, when we finally did get food the eggs were crispy, the hash browns tasted funny and I just lost interest in eating, we waited to pay for the food a good 20 minutes, the place was very cold in uncomfortable was happy to leave. Very dirty place as well. Windows had hand prints going in the kitchen areas, nasty! read more

Beware IHOP is outrageously expensive & very little value. I ordered the biscuit gravy combo & coffee. Bill came to $17.47. The coffee not that good was $3.99. There wasn't enough gravy but to cover 1/2 a biscuit. Give me a break. Inflation has taken a toll in many restaurants & consumers alike but IHOP is raping its customers. McDonald's offers a better breakfast for 1/2 the cost. read more

This is the best IHOP I've ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was great. She had a dry sense of humor and was a great addition to our enjoyment of our meal. Unless you have been to multiple IHOPs in multiple states, you might think they're all alike. They're not. Elizabethtown has the best in their own back yard. read more

The smell of the restaurant was absurd and the food was just as bad. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

I got a steak burger and it was delicious they had Pepsi product. And I got a. Starry and it was good.

Went in for dinner May 5, Andrew and his wife were the only two on staff an amazing couple and oh my gosh the meal was amazing and presentation awesome. If I could give them a 200 plus I would that's how good everything was and he was handling the floor like a pro. Owners And managers should be proud of these two on their staff. read more

IHOP - AMAZING. MY BACON EXTRA CRISPY AND GOT IT PERFECTLY SCRAMBLED EGGS n PANCAKES FLUFFY HASH BROWNS BROWN JUST RIGHT .GREAT JOB ANDREW - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Despite being clean I saw 4 centipedes in the span of at least 12 minutes. The first immediately after getting my drink, the server looked a bit annoyed at my mention of it and simply wacked it with a menu that I'm 80% sure she just set back up with the others without wiping it. Second after moving to another table. Third after standing up in discomfort and the fourth on my way out. Never experienced dining with CENTIPEDE PROBLEMS I might've been more comfortable with regular roaches honestly. read more

Me and my family frequent IHOP restaurants all the time. My mother especially enjoys their dinner meals as well. We always visited and traveling to the Fort Knox area and visited this location for the 3rd time last week as we're visiting and traveling from the Nashville area and this was the best experience we had at an IHOP in a long time. The server, the food and the I think manager as he checked us out was super awesome and they all had smiles on their faces and we were checked on like we matter. We told them the experience they gave us was very caring and attentive. Most restaurants employees especially the young ones are not attentive. I hope they know by their owner how valuable this team of IHOP workers are the best and we definitely be back in 2 weeks. The 5 star not given is because the building needs some TLC so the employees and customers have a better looking refreshing looking place. Not complaining for free anything as that is the norm now. I know I have two businesses myself. Take care your team and take care customers they are both needed. Me and my family will be back. Thanks. read more

Came in as a group of 20+, and service was immaculate. Lots of check-ins; made sure everyone's needs was met. Orders were taken in the first 10 minutes, and food came out not too long later. Shout-out to the awesome servers! Also gave us to-go water on the way out on a hot day! read more

Service awful. Fresh fruit warm and mushy. Sat 1 hour before breakfast came to the table. Waitress (there were 3) did not check on us... Nope. Never again! read more

Restaurant was observably understaffed so we expected to wait. We did not expect to have to ask the status of our order after waiting at our table for over an hour. When we asked, we were told there would be an additional five minute wait. We asked to pay for our drinks and leave, the waitress came back that the manager would comp drinks. Everyone seemed really nice, and really incompetent. read more

Came here on a Sunday morning... so it was pretty crowded. We waited a long time for our food, which was to be expected since it was busy. However, my pancakes were burnt and they gave me a tiny thin hashbrown, when theirs are usually thick. The burgers were good and the fries were salty. Not the best experience I've had at an ihop, but they were very busy today with the church rush. read more

I ordered my food online and it said my food would take 20 minutes. I drive to IHOP, wait a little while and they didn't have my order...but I look at my card and I was charged more than once. They ask me what I ordered and proceed to make my order. I live 3 minutes from IHOP, not even that...I sit down to eat my food and it's was rock hard... this is the 2nd time IHOP got me. Never again. I promise you I will drive to the other side of town to go to dennys before I even look in IHOP's direction again. AND guess who had to pay for their food again before they left. Me. Husband and I thought, we haven't had IHOP in a while. Our experience was cut short, the place is completely empty and still no one came to even sit us. The restroom is nasty, there's no soap in the women's restroom. For the place to be empty, why is there no soap in there? How are employees washing their hands ? No wonder why it is a ghost town read more

The food was served lukewarm at best. My drink sat empty for the majority of the meal. The waitstaff and assistant manager were rude to my wife when she politely asked for the check as they openly talked to each other about how "Everybody seemed to have a bad attitude today." Bathrooms were gross. Paid $50 for my family of 4 to be ignored, disrespected, and served old food. My mistake. Won't happen again. read more

Miranda the greatest waitress in all etown the food is always hot and fresh quick delivery time but the service is always great

We enjoy going to IHOP but this location is short staffed. It doesn't matter if you have 2 or 5 in your party, you'll get seated, drink order, drinks arrive and they take your order, and 45 minutes later your food arrives. No checking on you between. When we do go, I always ask for double drinks bc the likelihood of getting a refill is poor. We've been going to this location since Dec '21 and to date the service remains lacking. read more

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but just can't. One of my friends and I like to go here for breakfast on Saturdays about once every couple months. We go just to catch up and talk. So, we are never in a hurry and don't mind the enormous wait for our food. Usually, our food is pretty good and service is fine. My last visit, however, was horrendous. My sister and I had to wait at least 20 minutes for a table when there were plenty of tables open. I'm assuming they were understaffed on a Saturday during lunch. When we finally were seated and got our drinks, it took forever for someone to take our order. Then the longest wait I've ever had for food occurred. It was so long that I FINALLY asked the server if she had any idea how much longer it would be. She went to check and came back with our food. My eggs were over cooked, the bacon was burnt, the hashbrowns were burnt, and the toast crumbled in my hand. I had to send the food back even though I was starving. Luckily, it did not take long for it to come back out. After all of that, they still charged us the full cost of the food. We were in there over an hour and a half. Most of that time was spent waiting on food. I don't know that I will ever be back. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. The only reason I have given it 2 stars instead of 1 is because my other experiences weren't quite as bad. read more

The whole place was filthy and not from just things that fell on the floor today It appears nothing has been cleaned for awhile Ladies restroom was looked like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks Panels popping off walls in hallway Floors had black grime everywhere We had to drink coffee from paper cups because the dishwasher was broken The only positive experience was our waitress was exceptional Melinda read more

It was obvious that the wait staff was short, but they had a wonderful, friendly attitude & moved as quickly as humanly possible. See NOTE below. In spite of the shortage, we didn't have to wait for our food any longer than we normally would have. I tried the Poblano Omelet (without beef), and was extremely pleased. There were plenty of seasonings, the bell peppers & onions were cooked perfectly, and the avocado was fresh. Hubby ordered something with hash browns (sorry; I wasn't paying attention to his food!), but I sure noticed those hash browns because they looked so good that I almost swiped them. The one thing that disappointed us both were the restrooms: the men's room was out of paper towels, and the handicapped room in the women's restrooms was filthy. The toilet would barely flush, & there was trash (including a tampon wrapper) on the floor. In fairness to IHOPE, there was a nearly-empty trash receptacle in the room but apparently some trashy female couldn't be bothered. Overall, given the wide-spread difficulty obtaining & keeping restaurant staff, we were completely satisfied with our experience. NOTE: An elderly woman, obviously handicapped & barely able to stay on her feet came in while we were there. The waitress escorted her back to the tables, and asked the elderly patron if she preferred a table (of which there were several clean) or a booth (which were all dirty). When the woman said she preferred the booth, the server seated the woman on a chair while she rushed off to get what was necessary to clean the booth. The worker was very respectful and KIND and THOUGHTFUL to the woman, and I would give the restaurant another try based on her performance alone. That type of courtesy & respect is almost never seen these days, especially among groups that are already over-worked, under-paid, and stressed. The workers earned my respect Saturday afternoon! read more

One star is too many! Absolutely horrible food. It was cold and smelled awful. 2 weekends in a row my To go order was not ready. First weekend they had no record I even ordered anything which was a call in. So I waited about 30 min for them to cook everything. They were great at accommodating. Today I went in and decided if I ordered online that there would be a record and everything would be ready. I even decided to wait at home past the time the meal would be ready....when I arrive I asked for a to go order and the hostess went over to the machine and saw my ticket...brought it to the back and said your food is not ready yet. Well yes it's not ready because it was just taken back lol 40 min after it was placed online. But good all....just have to go in and make the order in person from now on lol. read more

Was in there for more than 20 minutes and no one ever came to take our drink order. They had several employees just standing around. There was only 4 tables with customers at them, one of which was our table. Needless to say we got up and left. Very trashy service and we will never be back. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to eat, especially if you ever want to eat or drink anything. This photo might as well be the restaurant. read more

Three stars because the night manager at this location is an asshat to his employees. Several visits on a Saturday night and we had to lis to him berate a server. The food is typical ihop but the service is good and any issues are the fault of lazy management not helping out when needed. Updated: this place has gotten worse. Staff doesn't know the menu or specials and the coffee tastes watered down now. Sticky tables, broken chairs, and slippery floor means no one is cleaning this place. Not a lot of breakfast choices in etown and this one is definitely off the list. read more

So much wasted potential. Do not go here! We were seated rather quickly but then after 20 minutes of sitting there... no greeting, no "one moment and I'll be with you" nothing. There were maybe 3 other tables with no food either. There were plenty of staff... but they were too busy sweeping the floors that looked clean and wiping tables that no one was sitting at. Your guests are your priority and then you clean as you're waiting for the food to come out, like come on! Sadly, we just left to go elsewhere after waiting with no service at all. Horrible place!!!! read more

Every time I come to this IHOP, the service is terrible and the food takes more than 25 minutes to come out. When it does, it's cold. I don't understand that even with only 10 tables full in the restaurant, it's so slow. I don't recommend coming to this location at all. read more

I don't know why I keep trying to give these guys another shot, but I do. Here we are this morning, and yet again I'm disappointed. We were the only ones standing waiting to be seated and we stood for a little over 10 minutes with ZERO acknowledgement from any staff. I kept attempting to make eye contact yet not a single employee would even look our way. After finally being seated we sat another 7 minutes before our order was taken. The waitress we had smiled and was pleasant. When our food came, it wasn't quite right. My request of extra crispy bacon was almost raw. My daughters French vanilla coffee and a large film of grease on it. My husbands lightly cooked sunny side up eggs, were burnt around the edges. All the staff walks around as if they would rather die than be here. The only time we saw a smile was when our waitress would attend her tables. Hopefully I'll learn my lesson and stay away. read more

The food at this restaurant is good. The staff, on the other hand, is a different story. When I last went to this IHOP, the restaurant was short-staffed, so it took quite a while for us to take our orders, and to get our food. It also meant that the manager was busy in the kitchen and couldn't keep an eye on the entirety of the restaurant. These things do happen every once in a while, so that isn't something to get angry about. There were two notable incidents, though, that were. First, one of the waitresses just stood at the back playing around on her cell-phone, out for everybody to see. There was one chef, and they had to yell for the waitress to get the food and deliver it to the table. She yelled "I'm coming" in response, took the food and delivered it to the table, and just got back on her phone. The front of house manager was aware that she was on her phone, but didn't do anything about it. Again, the restaurant was short-staffed, so it was understandable that it took so long for customers to get their food. However, this waitress was just straight-up being apathetic and incompetent. The second incident is after the people who were sitting behind us left. Two of the waitresses cleaned up the table, and one of them asked if they left anything. When the second responded that a child who was sitting there left his necklace, her response was a nasty and sarcastic remark along the lines of "Oh, great! That's going to pay my bills." I'm well aware that since waiters and waitresses are underpaid, and tipping how they make most of their money, being upset that people didn't leave you a tip is perfectly understandable. However, you shouldn't make these types of comments where other customers can hear you. If it weren't for those two specific incidents, the experience at this restaurant would be a whole lot better. The food, as I've stated before, is good. The problem with this restaurant is mostly the staff. read more

Is it just this location that has absolutely terrible service? I've here a few times in the past couple months and the service gets progressively worse each time. Today, we went at about 9 am. (I understand that it's a busy time for most restaurants) We we're seated almost right away, and then didn't see a waitress for over 10 minutes. We orders our drinks and it took almost 10 more minutes to get them. We ordered our food at 9:12 and got it at about 9:30- which is pretty reasonable. We ordered the New Mexico Chicken Bowl (which I totally recommend) with fruit, and the Quick Two Egg Breakfast. They brought out everything but the fruit within 20 minutes, but it took another 15 and 3 waitresses to get the fruit. The food is 5-Star, but the service absolutely sucks. If you have time to waste I 100% recommend this place. read more
