I went to a birthday party for my great grandson. I was asked to pay 12.95 for the buffet at the register to get in. I explained I was just attending not eating due to gastric surgery restrictions. The manager said, "They signed a contract and it is posted on our door." I asked if there was anything we could do since I can't eat. She just stood there with a blank face and said, They signed a contract. You can eat all you want." I explained no I can't eat all I want. She Then told me I was welcome to leave. That was so Insulting and passive aggressive. I said, "It's my great grand babies birthday!." I paid the 12.95 but was very unhappy and it put a damper on my greetings to family. The manager had no compassion and was very dismissive in her facial expressions and lack of response to me and my grandson who came over to the register. He asked her if I could buy a drink or something small to attend. She did not even answer and just stood there looking blank. First off let me say ive not ben to this location in a very long. Reason being there were a bunch of kids running around playing and not doing their job. No manager in sight. However we went in today for lunch it was my grandchildren and myself let me tell you the new manager they have working is amazing. I cant remember her name but I know she has red and black hair and tattoos. This being said she had that crew on their toes working and the buffet and salad bar were phenomenal. Even with them being a little busier than normal I feel. Pizzas were fresh salad bar was clean and well stocked. She really stayed on top of the store and her crew. Aside from all of that she went out of her way to make sure my grandbabies had fresh smores pizza and even remembered one wanted the outside and the other wanted the inside no crust. If the owners see this hands down she deserves a raise x2 this is the best ive ever seen the store and on top of that its so much cleaner than before and it was never "dirty" honestly. This location has "Gattiland", which is a large room with multiple arcade games that are huge and overpriced. Maybe the addition of this arcade dimishes the quality of the food and service here. Maybe the location is understaffed. Not that one expects a wonderful dining experience at a Gatti's, but there is an expectation of cleanliness. I'm not quite sure of the issue, but this place does not inspire me to return. On a Saturday at 3:30p, it was half full of people, but the staff could not keep up with the demand for pizza and clean tables. After my 1st trip to the pizza buffet I wanted to just leave and go home. The salad bar was an unkempt mess and the pizza was rubbery and tasteless. I only stayed because of a family child's birthday party. Otherwise, I would have been "outta there". So, because of the family children, who were having a grand-ole wonderful time, I tried to enjoy, or at least withstand, this noisy, unclean place. This is a kid's pizza place. A step up from c.e.cheese, but a step down in class. It's an all you can eat trough. The Golden Corral of pizza. The workers are nice and the place was clean but it's food based on quantity, not quality, in my opinion. My pizza box was soaked with grease, there aren't really any healthy toppings and the sauce is put on top instead of underneath which makes a mess in the box. This location has a drive through so this must be a common problem. They also slid a $3+ tip on my carryout order, which I didn't see until it was too late. Forshame. E-town doesn't really have the pizza options Louisville does and it shows. I love Jets and Marcos, for example. read more

Excellent every time. My favorite place to eat.I change my stars from 5 to 3. I ordered, to Go. A chicken bacon cheddar ranch pizza for pick up. The pizza I got, versus the pizza I got was Half the thickness of the one I got on the buffet. When I pay $16.00 for a pizza, I expect it to be what I'm used to getting. Im just a little disappointed. Won't be making that mistake again!. I owe Mr Gatties an apology. I've been back to the buffet twice sense my last comment. I noticed the pizza on the buffet and the pizza I got to go, were in fact the same size!!! It looked smaller in an actual box. So they definitely are 5 Stars to me! I hold firm to the belief that there is no BAD pizza, there's just OK pizza up through OMGEXCELLENT pizza. This was OK to good. The salad bar was fresh, lots of good veggies there. Terrible place !!! If u want critters in your food . Went and got lunch that was ordered online and it simple spaghetti and cheese stick pizza . Its always been good . The sticks had a garlic sauce that was yummy . Later one of the guys I work with was eating the sticks and dug down and found two roaches in the sauce!! Yep you heard it. The girl who ordered it called and asked to speak to the Manager. The manager wanted to insinuate that we did it! She never apologized or offered anything. She only could say that there was no way it was in there etc etc. The manager said we could call back in the next day and speak with the DM. We called both the health dept and the DM. The Dm was more apologetic and was truly upset but this really didnt help the fact we all ate it. This is pretty sad that the first response was to blame the customer . read more

We come here often for birthday parties and/or just lunches/ dinners from time to time. This evening we came for a birthday party in one of the party room, we did the buffet which was discounted for me and my kid since it was in a party room. We went to get in line for the pizza, when we got there around 7pm there was hardly any variety of pizza just pepperoni and cheese sticks. So we stuck with the pastas. The pastas are plain noodles, then you have your choice of meat sauce or just traditional sauce. They also have penne noodles that sauce less but with pepper and tomatoes keep with light spices. On our second round they had more pizza varieties vegetarian, chicken bbq, sausage, etc. Yay for more choices, then just pepperoni. Their pizza isn't spectacular, just decent and good pizza for the price and venue. The salad bar is great too, lots of toppings and dressings options but only offers iceberg lettuce. The dessert pizza are my favorite, they have a smore one, apple crisp and a coconut one. I didn't have any damage or dirty plates or cups. This is Elizabethtown, KY's version of Chuck E. Cheese but much better. The pizza is pretty good. Their meat sauce and pasta are good. The Cinna Stix are my favorite thing there. Ignore the negative reviews. Go in expecting buffet style food and you will not be disappointed. The price really isn't expensive either. They have a lot of variety too. A lot of the pizzas look the same, but almost all of them are different by a couple ingredients, so keep that in mind. This restaurant is about the same as Cicis pizza, except they don't have a stuffed crust option. And if I'm being honest, I felt like they had more options than Cicis. The place seems more like a cold warehouse than a restaurant and it looks a bit cheap. Usually I like to stay away from buffets because the food sits there for a very long time. At Gatti's, every single pizza is fresh and if it sits there, they make another one and put it out in place of the old one. Lots of pies to choose from, and some of them are very interesting. This is a good pizza place if you aren't in for gourmet pizza. There is always a good variety that they keep fresh and hot on the serving line. If they don't have the toppings you want they will make one for you and announce when it is ready. They also have a variety of dessert pizzas. I really like the cinnamon bread sticks that have a great cinnamon and glaze topping. There is also a salad bar with standard veggies and toppings, fruit, and pudding. They sometimes have a loyalty card providing a good discount although the cards are not always available. A military discount is also available if qualified. Kids will love it because they have a kids favorite food - pizza and when finished eating they can go to the game room where there is an extensive array of games that will consume all of the tokens the parents are willing to buy. They win tickets that they can exchange for prizes. They have separate rooms available for kids to have birthday parties. Bottom line is edible pizza for cheap price. read more

My daughter received a book mark at school that said if she read 10 books she could redeem for $5 in game play. She was so excited when she read all the books and completed writing them all on the card. Went to redeem and the snarky teen behind game counter said that it had to be signed by her teacher and we needed a receipt showing that we paid for buffet. We blew $24 on horrible pizza, wasn't offered a receipt, and she got crappy with me about trying to redeem a $5 game play?! My daughter was CRUSHED! For this to supposedly be a kid friendly restaurant you failed MISERABLY by crushing an excited 6yr olds heart. We ended up paying $5 for her to play games but she only received $4.50 worth of game play because they charge a $0.50 service fee for the card to load it on. One game didn't work properly and took game credit without working, and another only had one basketball to shoot for 60 seconds and kept jamming in the chute that rolled it back down. The cheency prizes that cost $0.01 each will cost you $3.00 in game play to earn because their games give very few tickets at all. $30 for horrible food, terrible games, and a crushed 6yr old.
