other than the iron skillet closing all in all it's still a decent petro clean maintained the Wi-Fi though is works when it wants to unfortunately still have a pool table little game room TV room still comfortable chairs.. showers got good water pressure that's one thing I can say.. travel stores pretty much like any other this one across as a Dunkin Donuts Express and they do keep it fresh in the main building. as far as the fuel Island they still have the deli out there with all the great greasy-spoon goodness at you like their famous fried bologna sandwich is pork chops and all the other stuff the hours of that changed though. sometimes your graveyard shift is completely closed at night depending on who's working the deli. also a running problem for a long time they don't really keep track of their coffee by the times of coffee is not maintained every hour for Dunkin Donuts rules they could be a little sketchy but you let him know they will get off their butts and come make it fresh realizing they screwed up.. the main building always has fresh coffee. Kentucky now getting on board with everybody else with the polystyrene ban. the Dunkin Donuts coffee cups are no longer made styrofoam but paper they don't burn your hands which is a good thing..you will soon see that more and more with the plastic and polystyrene ban of 2021 most places are going into effect early there are still some stragglers hanging around there probably will wait till the last minute I'm still curious to know about a paper straw in a hot drink it's going to suck....but it is what it is too much shit all around unfortunately it seems to be killing fish and getting stuck you could see those on National geographic what plastics have done to our world so I can understand it I just hope it's not going to be like you got to bring your own personal straw and like a glass or bamboo straw every place you go because straws will not be found LOL...but I shall put a picture up here at 1 at Dunkin Donuts new environmentally friendly paper cups I'm holding a cup now sippin it as I type this outand I can't say that yes it is definitely not going to burn your hand it's warm but that's it's not like some of those ones where you grab it and it just burns the living hell out of you where you almost drop the goddamn cup.. the travel store is still good they do keep their product fresh to they rotate that you don't find old stuff here at Glendale one thing they do do nicely and it's like any other iron skillet though but they do also have one of those little country little cordoned-off corners kind of like a poor man's Cracker Barrel with kitchy kinda bric-a-brac and knick knacks.. also like a lot of the iron skillets themselves made by Lodge the good stuff you can buy Here of course it's up to you to season your iron skillet how you like it and everybody knows seasoning in a couple of years worth until it's perfect the older the better we all know that if you've ever cooked out of an iron skillet...but found at these little crafty ones in Petros like New Paris Ohio has another one too although I did find the sign I liked lol. but it's like your other patch roads you got your CB stuff you trucker stuff that he got your little travel store stuff you know this one I never seen a little dinky beanie babies before I seen the big ones. All in all still a good place to stop going down 65 quiet no whores are Riff Raff so it's a good thing. also the Blue Beacon Truck Wash that's on the property too..

I like their big wide parking spaces. They have double lines but even with that there was plenty for even a noob to work with.

One of the best and most clean Iron Skills I have ever been to. Great parking for trucks and well lit up for safety.

There were six of us and we ordered five different items - 2 opted for the country fried chicken. Every meal was full of home cooked flavors and cooked to perfection. I had the daily special of soup and salad. The salad was fresh full of crisp lettuce, bacon, cheese, vegetables and toasty croutons. The bean soup was perfect and came with a large slice of fluffy sweet cornbread. My husband said the gravy was the best he has had in recent memory and paired with the chicken and mashed potatoes, he would definitely come back for. The bbq ribs fell off the bone and my brother in law loved them. The coconut cream pie had mile high meringue and was light and coconutty with a flaky crust. The chocolate cake was deep dark and chocolaty! The blackberry cobbler was hot and delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for food and ambiance!!

There has been a small pub below the restaurant called " Walter's Pub" . It was not open when we arrived; but it was also a great view. There is even a large scenery binocular mounted on the deck. It was a nice sunny Thursday afternoon, so you could see the river so well. We went into the restaurant and were greeted by a display with what was hand made candy, cookies and cannoli , awesome touch. We were seated by the window giving us a constant view of the winding river. We were promptly seated and asked if we'd like any beer beverages: Crystal the waitress provided the specials of the day. We settled with the fried chicken plate and the cod plate. Drink list is fairly standard normal list ( Miller Lite, Bud Light , Coors) with a few exports "Modelo". Not many in the restaurant when arrived but customers started to increase. Food took awhile but we weren't in any hurry. The restaurant was fine up with nice easy to the eye decor. You really get the feeling of an establishment that's been here for a long time taking care of customers. Food arrived and it was a nice portion, considered is a tad higher price, you get nice sized portions. Crystal was very good and nice waitress and took care of us. A small detail but I really liked it was waitress/waitress's name was on a card in a small block of wood on the table- small but nice touch. Many people don't ask or hear their servers name so it's sweet. Chicken was nice plump breast's, nice coating and so moist as I took a bite. Very , very moist and tasty. My wife had the cod sandwich; came with nice sized 2 portioned fillets. French fries with both and not bad, crispy. I had coleslaw as a side; it was very tasty if I must say! The cod was really tasty and had a nice crust to it as well. We took to go box with 1 of each piece cod and chicken home. But I was intrigued by the cannoli; so one to go. Nice place; scenic and great people and food! Stop if you get the chance! Thank you Crystal!

Then I ordered the soup and a side of grits, which were both delicious. My husband order the Beef cheek Po Boy - yummy! And my friend ordered the Cuban. The fries are tasty and everything tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared. Of course we saved room for dessert and shared the Banana Cream Pudding. It had a roasted marshmallow top and probably the beat Banana pudding I've had! For drinks, we got the Filly Lilly, A specialty Mint Julio with Thyme in it, and the winner was the Strawberry Rhubarb Buck. Wow! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We sat inside because it was a dreary first half of the day before the sun came out for the Derby! But, there were a lot of nice outdoor areas to sit and enjoy your food or beverages. You will find something you love at the Kitchen Table. I highly recommend!

Order: deviled egg with country ham marmalade with redeye aioli. The perfect bite. Just order it and you will be so happy. Creamy egg with the crunchy texture of the ham. Yum! Duck bomb with cane sugar gastrique. Great combo of sweet and salty. The sauce just brightens the entire dish. Cheese sampler was ok flavor. Toast points were deep fried and seasoned well. Brisket dinner. Just ok. Slightly dry, definitely needed a sauce on the side. The bean medley on the bottom was ok. I don't think i would order again. Honey glazed fried chicken was the star of the show. Perfectly crispy exterior with juicy meat on the inside. The best bite of the day for sure. The surprise of the day was the "french onion soup" inspired mac and cheese. Just a delicious play on a traditional mac and cheese.

I got a pizza, and my wife tried a few different offerings from the Japanese-style spot. Both were pretty good and appropriately priced, although some might find it a bit expensive. They also had a third restaurant serving American classics like burgers and hot dogs. There are lots of self-serve taps for beer and wine that charge by the ounce, so you can try different options without committing to a full pint. There's a variety of seating, including high-top stools, standard tables, couches, and a few longer cafeteria-style tables. The place has a fun, energetic vibe since the dining area is one big open room with lots of people--so don't expect it to be quiet or ideal for a soft conversation. They also have a gaming area with arcade machines, plus another area with some type of bowling and pool tables. The service was fine--you place your order and get buzzed when your food is ready. There's no table service after that, so there isn't much interaction with staff once you're seated.

The vibe is cool inside of social on main, so that wasn't in question, but whatever process they have for getting hot food to waiting customers needs to be re-evaluated. I will definitely giving this place another chance soon though because the burger should have been baller.
