We ate dinner here on Christmas Day, when nothing else was open. Just a typical Chinese buffet; food was fresh and plentiful.

We just moved to Albany, Kentucky from Nampa, Idaho. The food in Idaho pretty much sucks on all…read morelevels. This was my very first time here at the Dragon Garden, I must say this place is absolutely amazing. Yes, the buffet selection is quite small. The dessert section is even smaller. But what is there, the quality of the food is outstanding. As we walked up to the front door, I asked a few people outside of the buffet restaurant if the food was good here. The first person told me is was exceptional, the other said she eats there at least 4 times a week. I was sold with those good reviews. As we walked in, we were politely greeted and directed to our booth. Soft drinks are not included in the initial AYCE price. But you do get refills. Yes, they charge you for a glass water, believe it or not. We had one soft drink and one glass of water for a total of $5.95. I can't remember ever being charged for a glass of water before. But the food was delicious! Cooked to perfection. Everything we ate was cooked exceptionally well, especially for a buffet. The batter on the chicken was crisp, the shrimp was cooked as it should be. I was very impressed with the look and the taste of everything we ate. Honestly, it was absolutely stellar, I had no complaints at all. This buffet is well worth trying. We will be back, no doubt.

What a change!! I left an earlier review before they remodeled. Much much better this time around…read more Pleasant staff, better variety and the new interior that is warm and inviting. If you had a previous disappointing visit then you need to come and see the place now! We will return.

Then a P5 Pho Dac Biet for the main. Both the appetizer and the main dish came out in a respectable time. Both delicious and temp hot! Atmosphere was clean in the dining room. A little dim. The restroom wasn't that great. But i came here for the food of course! Definitely will be back when i pass through Bowling green! -Cha Gia crispy spring roll. Came out piping hot and crispy! Perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. Sad part was it does not come with nuoc mam dipping sauce, but a generic sweet and sour sauce. Other that that, an A rating! -P5 Pho Dac Biet. Absolutely phenomenal bowl of pho! Broth was hot, not too sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Was quite surprised being that it's one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Came with the normal Veggies that go in Pho. Do not skip on the Pho! A+ bowl of pho! -Atmosphere. A little dim , restroom not that clean. Overall a B.

I want to start off by saying that the prices are very reasonable and the staff was nice. (I want…read moreto add that I had to ask for chopsticks for my pho). I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. I don't think I would come back here any time soon, but for what it is and for the price, it was good but could've been better.
