Cheese enchiladas and a chili rellano

Food extremely salty no flavor whatsoever Chili or not stuffed peppers Service OK but slow Will not be back again Rating one star no stars possible $$$$ not worth the money

    Carnitas (tortillas not shown)
    Elvin C.

Large portions - enchiladas supremas has five - one of each kind (bean, cheese, beef, chicken and shredded beef) and the carnitas were great. Shrimp in the quesadilla was slightly overcooked and the horchata (32 oz in cold mug!) was a bit sweet for me (prefer more balance with cinnamon). Still not enough to ding a star. Maybe quieter and more attention from staff vs. the competition down the street.

Ordered both grilled octopus dishes and shrimp quesadilla and all were delicious. Portions were large the 3 of us could have easily been full with 2 entrees. The margarita was also good! Would eat here again....maybe tomorrow.....:)

Staff here was exceptional and we think we really could have emjoyed this place had we spoke to them about our taste on food. However, the Mexican food everywhere around here serves very unauthentic Mexican food. This place is no different in that they serve the food the way their patrons enjoy it which I can totally appreciate. That being said if you would like authentic Mexican food they can apparently do this upon request and I would totally come back and try out their "secret" menu next time around and update my review at that point in time to reflect.

Not to crazy about it but with 10 Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas only one in the area stands out. We sure need more variety.

So my grandson wanted a root beer and I wanted some as well, so we got the gallon root beer instead of individual ones. Well let me tell you that was my first mistake. It costs me $10 for one singular gallon of root beer. Oh and did I forget to mention that this gallon of root beer is IN A BAG. A bag of root beer. Back in my day they gave us gallon jugs like milk comes in. We received a literal bag that reminds me of the bags grapes come in from the grocery store. Also it was NOT homemade. I watched this lady put it in the bag straight from the drink machine that you get a Coke from at any other fast food restaurant. Watching this poor girl make this was actually hard to watch. She started by putting the bag just under the fountain and it made a huge mess, so she decided to get a cup and fill the cup to fill the bag which created the biggest mess possible. And when the lady handed me the bag of root beer it was dripping all over the place and made a huge mess in my car all the way home. And what makes all of it worse, the root beer was flat by the time I got home. So I will NOT be taking my grandson or myself back to this horrible place, and I do NOT recommend.

It will suit dating couples, business associates, and families well. (Families, provided everyone knows how to use their indoor voice.) The food is wonderful! The sauces are light and flavorful. The meat & pasta cooked perfectly! I went with my best friend on a road trip and found this place on Apple Maps. We had stuffed mushroom appetizers, which were wonderful and they did not skimp on the crabmeat. The soup of the day was spinach & broccoli cream, which was buttery, but light. It was an excellent accompaniment to the homemade rolls! I had the pasta trio: lasagna, manicotti, and spinach ravioli in meat sauce. The meat sauce was delicious. (Next time I'll get the cream sauce on the spinach ravioli.) Yum!! My best friend had the Chicken Florentine on gluten free penne pasta. She said it was perfectly executed and perfectly balanced. Sitting unassuming along Happy Valley Road, Napoli's Italian Restaurant is Glasgow's answer to a…read moreclassic, white-tablecloth trattoria. While the exterior might suggest a standard small-town eatery, the interior transforms into an intimate escape, complete with soft lighting and a warm, countryside charm that feels surprisingly sophisticated for Barren County. Here is our experience based on a recent visit starting with our Appetizer: Stuffed Mushrooms, We began the evening with the Stuffed Mushrooms, a dish that sets a high bar for the rest of the meal. These aren't your typical breadcrumb-heavy fillers; instead, the silver-dollar caps are generously packed with a savory blend of crab meat and herbs, then bathed in a rich, velvety sherry pink sauce. The sauce is the real star--creamy with a slight acidic brightness that cuts through the richness of the seafood. It begs to be mopped up with a piece of their warm, house-made garlic rolls. For our main course, the Lobster Ravioli was an absolute triumph. The pasta arrived perfectly al dente, housing a delicate, buttery lobster filling. What elevates this dish above standard fare is the presentation; the ravioli are tossed with chopped tomatoes and fresh basil, then smothered in that same signature pink sauce found in the appetizers. It's a decadent, "more-is-more" approach to Italian dining that feels celebratory. The portions are notably large--typical of Napoli's reputation for value. We selected the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake for dessert. To cleanse the palate after a symphony of cream and garlic, the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake is essential. It's a light, airy sponge cake layered with a tart lemon mascarpone cream and finished with a dusting of white chocolate shavings. Unlike a heavy cheesecake, this dessert is refreshing and bright--a citrusy "exclamation point" at the end of a heavy meal. Napoli's succeeds because it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; it simply polishes it. Between the attentive, friendly service and a menu that leans heavily into authentic, "made-from-scratch" flavors, it remains a hidden gem for anyone in the Somerset or Lexington area looking for a short drive to a high-quality meal.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two steak tacos off the à la carte lunch menu (until 3pm daily). There was a $0.99 upcharge each for grilled vs shredded chicken and carne asada vs ground beef, and it was totally worth it. My daughter ordered two grilled chicken quesadillas as well. And our friends ordered beef nachos and a fajita platter. All of it was delicious, with large portions. I had a couple of house margaritas, which were tasty and a steal at just $5.50 each. My only complaints were that the queso dip was rather small and not worth the $5, and (like most places) they charge way too much for a soda ($3.25). The service was excellent.
