Both the appetizer and the main dish came out in a respectable time. Both delicious and temp hot! Atmosphere was clean in the dining room. A little dim. The restroom wasn't that great. But i came here for the food of course! Definitely will be back when i pass through Bowling green! -Cha Gia crispy spring roll. Came out piping hot and crispy! Perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. We had a great experience at Tsunami. The staff was genuinely kind, the restaurant was very clean, and the service was fast. We ordered everything to go, and the food was packed perfectly, which really mattered since we were traveling. We spent a few days in Bowling Green and wish we had found this place sooner. The pho was the standout. The meatballs were hands down the best I've ever had, and I've been to many pho restaurants. The broth was rich, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. I want to start off by saying that the prices are very reasonable and the staff was nice. (I want to add that I had to ask for chopsticks for my pho). I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. Let me start by saying the Staff was nice. But that's where the goodness ends. Started with crab Rangoon. They're on the smaller side but you get 5. The inside was a bit runny. My kid loves crab Rangoon but didn't want this one after taking a few bites. We also had the pork and shrimp spring rolls. We actually asked for shrimp only but discovered they had pork too which is fine and was actually an option for the same price as the shrimp only. The table next to us got our order I think because I overhear the waitress asking them if they were ok accepting shrimp only and they said fine. Nobody asked us if we were ok getting pork. Good thing we ain't muslim. I think the better practice would have been to give everyone what they ordered rather than asking them if it's ok to accept something else. P5 has the most meat. So that's what we ordered. But the taste was underwhelming. We came hungry too. We love pho. But ... yeah. Meat was kinda chewy. Soup broth didn't taste like ox tail. And the temp was lukewarm. This restaurant is amazing , I have ordered Pho soup in probably 70 places in the US this restaurant did not disappoint I would rank there chicken and rare steak pho in the top 3 I've ordered. The price is so fair $9.99 for a good size bowl and they really give you a lot of meat in the chicken or rare steak. My other 2 favorites are in Nashville and are also really good but $14 . After looking on Yelp, we discovered that Bowling Green had a healthy amount of asian restaurants-- like I said, unexpected yet pleasant! Their pho broth absolutely hit the spot. It was just what I needed to rejuvenate after days of eating smoked meats (I love you midwest food, but I needed a break haha). My sister enjoyed her vermicelli and said the chicken was charbroiled to perfection. All the food came out piping hot, ready to be devoured. Plenty of parking outside (it's in a small plaza), plenty or seating inside, and great customer service. Tried this place multiple times, and at this point I'm not going to be able to come back. The interior design is fine, the service is quick, but the food is where everything fails. The meat is incredibly chewy, which is great for my jaw is guess, but at the same time its not what you'd want your Japanese hibachi to be like. The staff or chef have a very interesting perception of what fried rice is. Fried rice, to them, is when you put rice on a pan, and put a flame under that pan; that's it. No vegetables, no egg, just pan fried rice. The prices are also inaccurate on the menu, upon paying you'll at least 2 or 3 dollars more per meal than what is suggested upon ordering. read more

This place seems like a hidden gem. It's never very busy when we go, but it should be because the food is great. For apps we got some Crab Rangoons and some of the fresh Spring Rolls. The cream cheese in the Crab Rangoons was super creamy and slightly sweat. The vegetables in the fresh spring rolls tasted very fresh as the name suggests. The peanut sauce they come with really does something magical. My entree here is always the Pho. They are all great. The broth is good and they give you everything you would want to add: hoisin, sriracha, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Again, the veggies taste fresh and crisp. I've been to this location twice now and I've been fairly impressed! I ordered the chicken pho both times and they seem to be very consistent in flavor. It isn't the most flavorful broth I've had, but definitely packed full of noodles and ingredients for the price you pay. This is the best bowl to price ratio I've found thus far!
