However, the servings overall were generous and reasonably priced. I even have a small to-go box of noodles for tomorrow. Additionally, I got to try my very first BOBA tea! I am not sure why they call it tea because it's more like a slushy with those little Boba balls and a wide straw. I was in Bowling Green on business today around lunch. I always scope out a town's Vietnamese restaurants and found Tsunami. So glad I did! I was met at the door by a very polite and well spoken waitress who served me immediately. I had the steak Pho and some fresh rolls. The sauce for the fresh rolls was delicious and the rolls were loaded with huge shrimp. The pho was sumptuous. The flavor was subtle but complex and every bite was a treat. The prices were remarkably good and the food was far better than at the two Nashville viet restaurants I have tried-and the service was MUCH BETTER and MORE POLITE. The pho at both the Nashville restaurants had a funky aftertaste which got to be off putting. Tsunami was a very pleasant, spotless atmosphere and the food was delicious. I got little squares of very overcooked pieces of meat that looked like they went to the store and bought some stew beef (at the other Japanese restaurant that we went to it was actually filet mignon.) The steak was hard and rubbery at the other restaurant. It was beautifully cooked. Also, my noodles tasted like they were drenched in teriyaki sauce, which I can't stand. Everything was too sweet and I will probably not ever go back there now.
