Pho Ga
Kristen D.

I want to start off by saying that the prices are very reasonable and the staff was nice. (I want to add that I had to ask for chopsticks for my pho). I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. I don't think I would come back here any time soon, but for what it is and for the price, it was good but could've been better.

Let me start by saying the Staff was nice. But that's where the goodness ends. Started with crab Rangoon. They're on the smaller side but you get 5. The inside was a bit runny. My kid loves crab Rangoon but didn't want this one after taking a few bites. We also had the pork and shrimp spring rolls. We actually asked for shrimp only but discovered they had pork too which is fine and was actually an option for the same price as the shrimp only. The table next to us got our order I think because I overhear the waitress asking them if they were ok accepting shrimp only and they said fine. Nobody asked us if we were ok getting pork. Good thing we ain't muslim. I think the better practice would have been to give everyone what they ordered rather than asking them if it's ok to accept something else. P5 has the most meat. So that's what we ordered. But the taste was underwhelming. We came hungry too. We love pho. But ... yeah. Meat was kinda chewy. Soup broth didn't taste like ox tail. And the temp was lukewarm. Another very hum drum meal in Boring Green.

Unfamiliar with KY and what this area has to offer especially in Asian cuisines. I was pleasantly surprised and now this is the 2nd time here. For a small place the flavors pack a huge punch! Quite a nice gem we found! We will be back next time we're passing through! Thanks!

Always will get a good deal with a generous portion and delicious taste. Tsunami is rarely crowded but seems to do good business. If you're ever worried about wait times else where, give this place a try. Fantastic for families!! The restaurant is usually quiet and the staff friendly.

I really like eating here. The service is always good and the servers interact, which I like. I had the Sesame Chicken this go round. We had friends in from out of town and they were impressed with the food. I ordered a #C2 - Com TThit Nuong - Char-Grilled Pork & Fried Egg and Rice. It was tasty! Cooked just right, spiced just right (minus the Chili Paste I always get) and the egg added a nice flavor. We also ordered the Sesame Chicken. It also has a good flavor and is cooked just right. Just to be able to order three styles of food is nice. Depending on your mood, they have Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese. As always, ask for either Chili Paste or Chili Oil - it'll jump it up a notch.

A favorite lunch spot. Great food, quiet interior, friendly efficient service. What's not to like.

Pho with the steak.

I was a little apprehensive when I saw the menu. I chose the pho with the steak. I loved it. So much flavor. The meat was tender. It was a lot of food. I got to bring home leftovers.

Second time eating here. First time I had the P5 Pho and it was amazing. I had a male waiter and he was just wonderful. Second time I'm have the pork bowl w a fried egg roll. It's good. Wish the fish sauce was stronger. I Had a side of mixed veggies. They were good. I had a female waitress and she was just wonderful as well. The Pho is the best so far.

If you asked me a few months ago if I ever thought I'd visit Bowling Green, Kentucky-- I would've said no. If you asked me if I ever thought I'd order pho in Bowling Green, Kentucky-- I would've given you a very confused look, lol. Basically, as a somewhat food snob from CA, I was pleasantly surprised to find GOOD asian food in a town I never expected to visit. My sister and I decided to stay in Bowling Green after spending the day road tripping and visiting Mammoth Caves. After looking on Yelp, we discovered that Bowling Green had a healthy amount of asian restaurants-- like I said, unexpected yet pleasant! Their pho broth absolutely hit the spot. It was just what I needed to rejuvenate after days of eating smoked meats (I love you midwest food, but I needed a break haha). My sister enjoyed her vermicelli and said the chicken was charbroiled to perfection. All the food came out piping hot, ready to be devoured. Plenty of parking outside (it's in a small plaza), plenty or seating inside, and great customer service. I saw other people in the restaurant ordering various other items from the menu and everyone honestly seemed really satisfied/happily full. If you're ever passing through this town, for sure stop by this restaurant!

While there aren't many options for meat for the pho (rare beef and or meatball) I really enjoyed the broth; not as salty msg but flavorful

The server, whose name was Kam, was most gracious, and did his best to make sure we made knowledgeable choices about what we ordered, and he was attentive after we had our order. My partner had the chicken noodle soup, and it had such a fabulous broth and was full of noodles and shredded chicken. I had to have several spoonfuls of it myself. I chose the vermicelli with beef and an eggroll. Each table was equipped with soy sauce, sriracha, chili pepper oil, and Hoisin sauce. The overall lighting, ambiance, and cultural appeal of the restaurant is pleasant. I noticed that we had quality (not wooden) chopsticks instead of American utensils, but I'm sure they have forks for the picky or clumsy folks. I cannot eat Asian food without using chopsticks; it just isn't the same. His soup featured one of those lovely china/porcelain spoons with a glorious absence of metal. Possibly the only thing about this entire meal I could offer suggestion for improvement is the tiny scrumptious eggroll could have been larger. However, the servings overall were generous and reasonably priced. I even have a small to-go box of noodles for tomorrow. Additionally, I got to try my very first BOBA tea! I am not sure why they call it tea because it's more like a slushy with those little Boba balls and a wide straw. There are 15 different flavors offered, including avocado (which I was not brave enough to try). I had banana, and it was very good. I thought it mildly pricey at $4.50 but novelty drinks usually have novelty prices. I really wish we had visited this restaurant before, but as I said, we will be returning. I was concerned because there were only a couple other tables during our entire visit, although it was toward closing time on a Tuesday evening. I encourage everyone to try this restaurant!

The young man that took our order was very polite. They do have some tables inside for sitting. We will eat here again. Great for take-out.

VN Pho & Deli is a hidden gem! The service is great they're super efficient and quick, which I…read morereally appreciate. I'm from Seattle, so you know we can throw down some bomb pho up there. I honestly didn't think I'd find a Vietnamese spot in Nashville that could impress me, but VN Pho & Deli definitely delivered. Their pho is authentic, flavorful, and straight-up bomb. I also had the Bun Bo Hue, and I enjoyed it very much it had great flavor and hit the spot. I'm glad I found this place! If you're craving some bomb Vietnamese food in Nashville, come check this spot out. You won't be disappointed!

Even when im in nashville eating bbq and wings, I still miss asian food! I gotta have it! Sooooo…read moreI found this place. Id have to say, this was better than the food i had in Denton, Texas. But, the food here wasnt impressive. Everything I ordered lacked a lot of flavor and the punch you get with authentic, potent, rich seasonings and spices. The pho wasnt very aromatic either. The pho was very bland for my taste. It was missing a lot. The com thit nuong was pretty good with perfectly made rice. The banh mi had too much pate and it didn't work for me. This place is cash only which i don't like bc I dont like to carry cash. Service was good and the food came out fast! Inside you have two rooms to dine in. Its kind of odd shaped room, but it does feel cozy. You get that family owned business feel.
