Wanted sushi for lunch today and ended up here. Been wanting to try this place. Glad we did. The place looked clean and neat but the floor was sticky. That was a concern at first but the food quality and service were both outstanding. The hostess and server were over-the-top polite. Could not have asked for better courtesy anywhere and she was very attentive to our table. Ordered Shrimp Tempura for our appetizer. Presentation was awesome as was the dish. Perfectly crispy to our delight. Also had the Rock N Roll (fried shrimp, crab and avocado with soybean paper) sushi special. Outstanding flavor as well as artistic presentation. My wife had the Hibachi Shrimp dinner with soup, salad, vegetables and fried rice. She thought the rice tasted a little peppery for her palette but was still good.I liked it. I had the Chicken Katsu dinner entree with Katsu sauce. I liked the Japanese white seafood and steak sauce better than the Katsu sauce but that is just my preference. The food is amazing! Lunch was better than dinner. Probably due to it being fresh cooked, as they had just opened. Lunch service was also a bit quicker, but the crowd was large when we were there for dinner, so maybe that had something to do with it. However, it was worth the wait. Cant get any better Chinese food in BG! Only thing is the place doesn't have a nice vibe/ambiance on the inside or outside, but the food makes it all worth it! read more

The food is always delicious. They closed this restaurant for about a month. No reason was given. They finally reopened. We ate there today. The food was delicious, as always. However, a roach crawled across our table while we were eating. The floors are always sticky, so could be attracting the bugs. Needless to say, we will not be back. read more

Best Chinese & Japanese in town! My husband and I went the other night and were delighted to find this place. The Crab Rangoon was hot, fresh, and perfectly crisp served with warm sauce. His pineapple chicken was to die for (we fought over the leftovers!), and my hibachi steak was absolutely perfect. This is definitely one of our favorites in Bowling Green! And the people are so nice! Perfect for good Chinese and hibachi without the hot table affair or the massive amounts of fat and oils that typical takeout places use. Seriously, I thought I'd never find a replacement for my hometown favorite in Florida, but I think we finally did. :) read more

I really am not a fan of this place... The decor is nice for a restaurant. One can tell the owners care about the ambience of the eating experience. It is kind of small, but they've made the interior seem bigger than it is with the lighting. I believe the food isn't as good as I would have liked. The selection is small when compared to ichiban or tsunami. It's a nice place to enjoy if you like chinese/japanese food, but it's just not my cup of tea. read more

WOW. That is about the only thing I can come up with to describe the atrocious time I just had with this company. We ordered our food online, my fiancé getting the garlic pork and I got the sesame chicken combo plus a 2 liter of soda. We are visiting from our of town and this place has good reviews for the food, bad for delivery. So since where we are staying is 10 minutes down the road we ordered carry out. My fiance ran in to get the food and didn't realize they didn't give him the drink. They called us as we were still sitting out front. We got back to the hotel and opened the bag to find the ENTIRE order is wrong. Painfully wrong. They're lucky neither of us had shell fish allergies wrong. So I called them as a to let them know our order was wrong, but since they would have to just throw it out and remake or food, we were going to make due. The older woman there decides to LIE to me saying "yes we know your order is wrong we tried calling you. " when I called her out on the fact they called me because they didn't give the soda with our order and That if she is going to LIE about the subject of the phone call she might make sure she's not talking to the person they called, she back tracked. She then tried to back track and said oh no see I know now that your order is wrong, I wasnt saying that's why we called you. When I pointed out that she was on speaker and everyone heard her lie to me about it she tried to back track again. I told her I was calling so that they could catch the OTHER now incorrect order so they didn't have more than one upset customer. The fact she disrespected me by lying to me several times and even trying to then push the blame into her daughter is appalling. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself and I sincerely hope they get their act together rather than lying to customers, disrespecting them, and then refusing to accept responsibility for what she says and does, I just can't. I will NEVER go back, NEVER recommend this horrendous place to anyone ever, and I will make sure to share this horrible behavior with everyone. She should absolutely be ashamed of her behavior. read more

Pretty spectacular Chinese and hibachi for around here. We moved here about a year ago and have been fairly unhappy with Chinese food options. Food was well presented. The staff was very nice. The inside of the restaurant was very nice also. Reasonable prices for good tasting food. read more

I have it two stars because if I was desperate again I might come back. I came here after a power outage since it was the only place open. No flavor, horrible sauces, and the sushi tasted like it was soaked in some chemicals. I understand I can't expect much from small town sushi place, but I only ate one piece of my roll, it was that bad. They didn't offer to remove it from bill either. The General Tso chicken was super sweet and not spiced at all. Not even a little bit. The fried rice was just rice with soy sauce on it, definitely not fried. Never have made a review on Yelp until today. I am on the way back from driving all over the midwest and this is the worst chinese I have ever tasted. You should save your money and goto Krogers and get frozen chinese amd warm it up in the microwave, it will be cheaper and taste far better. Food was far from fresh. Delivery was fairly slow, but it's also dinner rush on a Thursday... crab rangoons were pretty good, not too sweet like most fast-Asian places. Not overly impressed or disappointed in the bourbon chicken, a little dry but nothing you can't get over, fried rice was extremely underwhelming. Finally, the pork lo neon was really good. According to yelp they are 0.5 miles away from me... I ordered delivery several times and it took no less than 1 hour and 30 minutes, I have also eaten in too, the food is complete garbage, and I'm not picky when it comes to chinese, the owners are rude the only thing that is good is the girl who answers the phone she has no accent and perfect english, all in all, I highly recommend AVOIDING this place, trust me or be sorry. This is my first time ordering delivery at this place. We paid $20 for two tubs of shrimp fried rice -- which wasn't really fried rice. It was basically sticky rice with zero flavor mixed with very small chunks of shrimp. They told us it would take 45 minutes to get there. We waited the 45 minutes only to wait another hour. They gave us a bunch of packets of soy sauce -- probably because they knew how bland it was. The food tasted awful and we ended up throwing it out. We paid $20 to wait nearly 2 hours for sub-par Chinese food to get here, and we will never be ordering from this place again. read more

This place delivers too! It's our go to for takeout and delivery. I have only ordered off the Chinese menu and it's very good. It's usually not crowded inside so you get all the attention. I think they do mostly carry out business. They are creative with the food, a little different from other take out Chinese In the town. This and Panda Express are best in town IMO. Pass on the pepper steak. Mostly onions and not enough beef but it was still flavorful. It is what it is and I like it. read more

I'll start by saying, I had eaten here before and it was fairly good. However, this trip was an experience that was so frustrating, that I will not return. A combination of terrible service and extremely lackluster food just made for a terrible trip out. My family and I arrived at about 445p on a Sunday, and we were literally the only party in the restaurant. We were greeted quickly and ordered an appetizer (edamame), and our main dishes (2 hibachi plates and 2 basic rolls of sushi). It took 35 minutes to bring out our small plate of edamame, and during this entire wait we were not greeted/offered refills on our drinks. It was close to 45 minutes since we arrived when the 2 hibachi plates came out. As if that wasn't enough, both of the entrees were not hot. I'm not one to be a stickler about this, but these clearly had been sitting on a counter for some time before they were brought out. I had to walk up to the front and ask them to reheat both of these meals. Once they came back out, there was no apology or "sorry for your wait". They just set the food down and left. After this attempt at reheating, the chicken in the hibachi meal is now bone dry. Still no sushi. It was close to an hour in before the sushi came out, and even then, only one of the two rolls. As I went up to cancel the second roll, as I had had enough of waiting, they brought it out. I was famished at this point, so just quickly ate the roll and was on my way. The sushi was decent, but the wait for all of the food made it all extremely underwhelming. In summary, I'm fine for waiting for good food. But if you're going to make a party (who are alone in your restaurant) wait almost an hour and still bring out cold food, I will never be returning. Avoid this establishment. read more

I've given this place 3 chances, didn't like my food ever, but the last time was the last straw. I ordered szechuan tofu (called "bear curd" on their menu, I assume they mean bean curd). It was uncooked chunks of soft tofu, like the kind you put in a smoothie, in a VAT of gross sauce. Totally inedible. Will not be back. They supposedly have pad thai now. Wife got a lunch special sesame chicken, it was good and arrived in 15 minutes. I ordered all you can eat sushi, never got to try it. My sushi was done at the same time as her meal, but I watched it sit on the counter and no one picked it up. My lunch hour was up, I finally snagged a waitress coming by and explained to her to cancel my order, I had been waiting 45 minutes for ONE sushi roll that never came. She brought it over, and I said no, I don't have time to eat it. Manager lady came out and told me it takes time to make sushi, and I should have given more time to enjoy the sushi experience, and offered to make it a to-go for $9.50 instead of the $11 for the all-you-can-eat. I declined, told her it was neglect, not prep time that made the wait long, and most folks on a Friday lunch order don't have more than an hour to eat. I got my check and it was for my wife's meal, plus the two eggrolls that come with the all-you-can eat sushi charged to me a-la carte. Disgusted with the service. No effort to make things right.
