So we were in this town on vacation and decided to eat here. The only good thing was the salad bar which was an up charge along with our entrée . The restaurant was very mismanaged as well as upkeep tables and chairs needed a good cleaning. Our waiter was very good then we ordered our food. My Husband had a chicken breast with double broccoli. The chicken itself was small three bites total. The meal I ordered was fried shrimp that came with fries , they were so salty that you couldn't even eat them and again small portions even though we ordered entrées. Refills were nonexistent and when we went to pay, there's no register to go to. They actually give you a cordless credit card reader, and they process it at the table Unfortunately, we had to wait for them to find one. Again, we will not be returning for what we ordered and paid was not worth it. read more

I travel for business a lot. First time here service was slow food was meh. The restaurant was empty btw. Fast forward 6 months today I'm back in town. I arrive after a long 90 minute drive with still work to do, No greeter and I wait 10 minutes to be seated not a soul walking around. I get seated. Server never comes. She does show up and take order of drinks from 2 other female customers and completely ignores me with my menu down and she looks at me. Came here today for lunch and we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. My boyfriend ordered a blue moon and when he asked for a refill they said the keg kicked but would you like a different kind of beer? Can't anyone tap a new keg for blue moon? Food was good when you get it. Took 35 minutes to get a chicken sandwich. Restaurant was only less than a 1/3 full. Took 20 plus to get first drink. Salad bar had all bread, bread cubes etc. Removed. Plate size was shrunk for salad bar. Ambiance...old Time to wrap it up. read more

Typical corporation not paying enough to keep employees... This is my second time at this RTs location and it's been the same experience; understaffed and the staff that is working here are running like headless chickens trying to fill many roles. I feel really bad for the few employees doing this work. I don't care about RT corporate, I know they've been closing a lot of locations, good. Hopefully they go under for putting profits over people. read more

Health Inspector, are you listening? This place is downright disgusting. It just feels dirty when you walk in. There were flies everywhere, including all over the buffet. The bathrooms clearly haven't been cleaned in a while. Slow, lazy staff. Food was dried out, minuscule portions, and just badly presented. We had no silverware, our drinks got refilled, never took dirty plates off the table. Server only showed up to collect her tip. If a group of 20-somethings who never worked a job in their lives before decided to open a restaurant on a whim one day, this is what I imagine it would be like. There are so many other great restaurants nearby. I can't imagine this one will be in business much longer. read more

We stopped here on a road trip to New York City. All 6 of us loved the fresh salad bar along with the piping hot soup and the loaded baked potatoes. Absolutely filthy!!! The chairs you sit in are black! I went to pull my chair up to the table and put my hand in something black and sticky the bathroom door was the same way. Amazing. First time coming to eat obviously. The bartender, she was very nice. Listen and engaged in all of our story telling, we like to do. Food's absolutely amazing! I reviewed this restaurant about a year ago, and it was two stars. Several weeks ago, my wife and I decided to try it again. This time, one star and I doubt we will ever return. First, I would like to say the young lady that was our waitress was as good as any we've had anywhere. That's your single star, Ruby Tuesday. The bad: YOU NEED A TRAINED MANAGER! This location had a bunch of young kids hanging around the entrance to greet and seat you. Too bad they had no instructions as to how to do their job. One of them was also cleaning tables. Too bad no one trained him to get all the slop off the tables: yes, my side of the table was not wiped cleaned. Opening the napkin wrapped silverware show a fork that was not clean. We had burgers. My wife's was as she ordered. Mine was great, but only as a shoe sole! Grossly overcooked. Why does this chain think they can operate without a trained manager? Why do they think they need 4 or 5 high school kids milling around, where 2 trained people could the job. I forgot to add how the restrooms could use attention, again, where's the manager. As this seems to be the constant condition of this restaurant, the chain must feel this is acceptable. Maybe they should hire a few secret diners to visit their restaurants at random times? read more

The burger was so tough, hard and was inedible. It also took 20 minutes. The roll was at least day old. The fries were cold. Very bad food at a high price. They were not busy in the least. The salt used on the cheese on the burger side was horrific. I did not request salt on my burger. I do not recommend this place. I ate one bite of meat and two fries and then went to Subway to eat! read more

The food isn't that great. I've been to one other Ruby Tuesday's in Harrisburg that I wasn't impressed with and this one followed suit. I had the cheddar broccoli soup and the broccoli was half raw. Needed cooked longer. I can handle al dente to a point but spare me crunchy vegetables in soup. Panera has them beat hands down with their broccoli cheddar soup, too bad there isn't one nearby. The baked potato was ok but it takes a lot to screw up a baked potato. The salad bar was very basic without much fanfare. The smoked ham cut in little cubes was way too smokey tasting. Overall the food deserved two stars but there is no way to break the rating down. The service was five stars, again, no way to break it down. But in the end the place is only deserving of one star because you take your health into your own hands going inside. We're in the middle of a pandemic. Covid cases in Clearfield county continue to rise and so does the death toll. I realize this is DuBois Pennsylvania and the politics of the region play into the whole "I have my rights" dialog, and people do, but not when they interfere with my rights. Why have a sign on the door of the restaurant saying masks are required when you are seating people who come in without wearing masks? You don't even ask them to put one on. Add a sentence at the bottom off the sign that says "NOTE: WE DO NOT ENFORCE THIS MASK RULE" so that I can make an informed decision whether or not I want to expose myself to covid from people walking in past my table without wearing a mask. This is not an outdoor restaurant. I left before I could see if the people who were seated without masks went up to the salad bar not wearing them. I don't have to really guess if they did or didn't. So if you feel you're immune from covid and are put off by wearing a mask then here's a place for you altho frankly, even without the pandemic, the food alone wouldn't have me coming back. But most importantly, if you're not going to enforce the rule you state on the entrance door then you need to either take the mask sign down all together or include a statement that you're not enforcing the rule so people like me have the option of turning around and going back to their car. Had low expectations at this place that borders a dying shopping mall, but we were traveling and hungry. The salad bar is the thing at Ruby Tuesday, but don't confuse that with cheap. I got the tilapia, which is often tasty at mid-range chain restaurants, and it didn't disappoint, but the parmesan cream sauce drowned the flavor. My hubby got the crispy chicken sandwich, and said it was OK. What's a crying shame is that an average lunch cost $44 and change. read more

I stopped with my mother on Wednesday night (7/15) for dinner and it was a good experience. The food was awesome, our waitress (I think I remember her name being Danielle) was excellent, and our drinks were correct. All in all, it was one of the better trips I've had to Ruby Tuesday, it can be rather hit and miss. If there were anything to complain about this time, it would be that our food came out too quickly, if that's a thing. Our table was full of bread and salad bar plates, and we kind of had to make room for the additional until we were ready to switch over, but that was fine. I ordered food from Ruby Tuesday's Friday evening. I paid online and the order was confirmed and the pick-up time was 7:18 PM Friday. Upon picking the food order up, my boyfriend learned Ruby Tuesday's was not honoring the Fish "special" or Chicken Taco "Special" and thus did not make any food. They claimed they didn't have our phone number to call even though we input our phone number on the order. They refused to refund our payment for the order they failed to provide -- they said we had to submit a claim with "Corporate" to recover $22, so not worth the brain damage. I think the employees, especially could have handled this matter much better. They should have refunded our money immediately and offered up an apology -- we would have been OK with that. A phone call would have been perfect... We would have just ordered something else. I just feel like we were lied to repeatedly when it was not necessary.This place is not very community friendly in my opinion. read more

Extremely slow service. My wife and mother ordered the unlimited soup along with the garden bar, the waiter brought the soups out with the entrees and never asked if they wanted more. Once my mother ordered a second cup of soup, it took close to ten minutes for them to bring out the second serving, only for it to be not what she ordered. Each trip we took to the salad bar there were multiple items that were empty which meant we never were able to fully get what we wanted. For a chain restaurant, Ruby Tuesday has done a great job with their food and service. I wish I could remember the name of the server we had last night - he was fantastic. Friendly and so helpful in determining what I could eat for my gluten free meal. The menu also offers more healthful choices such as a petite sirloin with roasted spaghetti squash and grilled zucchini. Between the lovely vegetables accompanying our meals and the salad bar we were able to get the vegetables and healthier meal that we had been craving on the road. I never really eat here ever but I was reminded why on this particular day. I was here with a large group of about 20 people but they couldn't accommodate us without reservations so we were broken up into 4 or 5 different tables. I ordered the 8oz sirloin with the salad bar as an option. The salad bar is very nicely laid out. I do prefer the one at Eat n park though because it has more options like bread and fruit. This salad bar was nice still, they served pumpernickel bread croutons which was interestingly delicious. So when our food arrived, my steak was way overcooked, I ordered it medium and it was nearly well done and dry. I had to wait for her to put a new steak in for me. It was happy hour but the beers are extremely expensive. I ordered a 20 oz blue moon and it was $5.60. Our total bill was about $60 for two steak dinners and 3 beers. The steak wasn't that good to me even when it was prepared correctly. I don't have any ruby tuesdays near me and i'm actually glad because of it. read more

I'm only giving a three star because my shrimp app & dessert was very good! Our waitress was nice too. I was kinda upset that when we arrived, it was not busy at all, so I requested a corner table away from others for privacy with my family. The greeter refused to let us sit there. She said it was only used for a six top. Well I can understand if it was on a weekend, but it was a weekday and there was barely anyone in there. Also, if you are going to continue to stare at your customers, while your cleaning off tables, please give a friendly smile once in a while.
