I found this on Yelp and it will be our new place for breakfast and lunch! We got there at a time perfectly for my husband to get breakfast and for me to get lunch. We were welcomed and helped out so much by the girl at the cash register...sorry didn't get her name. My husband got a breakfast wrap and I got the chicken panini with no cheese. Both were perfect as we ate them outside! My husband went back in and got a kombucha drink that was a little pricey but he really enjoyed it throughout the afternoon. read more

I'm glad I hunted down this place, my travel app had it in the middle of the local supermarket in the same plaza. It's a small place on the end of the plaza. I ordered a bowl as my breakfast. It had chicken and rice with a delicious Saigon Sauce, which is a creamy peanut sauce that paired so well with the chicken and rice. There was a small salad included, which was also enhanced by the peanut sauce. The coffee was good, too. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in explaining what the restaurant had to offer, and were also engaging with the regular customers nicely. The only thing I didn't like was that the "bowl" was actually a cardboard boat with a sheet of wax paper inside, with a plastic fork. read more

We stopped here while on a road trip. We love to eat healthy food, so we were excited to find this place. My husband ordered the Shrimp Poke bowel, tomato soup, and I ordered the Kitchen sink salad with salmon. We also ordered a green tea to wash it all down. We really enjoyed everything. The ladies were super nice too. They were cooking fresh Chocolate chip cookies, and were so gracious to sell me one even though there were three still in the display case. It was HEAVEN! I'm sorry I can't show you a picture of the cobecause as soon as I got back to the car it was devoured. There was not a crumb left. It was the icing on the cake to our delicious meal! read more

It's a cute little cafe with friendly staff! They have a a variety of breakfast, paninis, burritos, and bowls. I tried their bayside bowl packed with fresh ingredients. It was citrusy and refreshing. There was just a little bit of uncooked rice. I also got an iced coffee, which had good flavor. Overall a good spot for lunch, but not something I would crave to go back to. read more

Our Nurses at the hospital in town enjoy ordering here on the weekends when our cafeteria is closed. The food is very good, however;they will charge a 20% gratuity fee for an order over $100. The girl that works there is always rude and always frustrated that our orders are sometimes big. She once said that due to how many smoothies we ordered we caused her smoothie machine to break. We always tip wherever we order form and we tip well, but to be charged that amount of gratuity to receive the worst service that I have ever received from any take out restaurant is appalling. Never going back,and either are the others that ordered from there. read more

Fantastic! Stopped here during a road trip and I really appreciated having something wholesome to eat. I got the sweet potato/black bean burrito with rojo sauce and not only was it incredibly tasty, it was big! On a side note I got the locally made watermelon mint kombucha by moody cultures to help soothe my stomach and it ended up being the best kombucha I have ever had! Also the service was great. Fresh, tasty, and even healthy. This was a great find in DuBois. It is a little hard to find tucked away in the corner by Martin's but worth finding. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They very patiently walked us through their menu and helped us understand a few things. They were able to accommodate my wife who is on a Keto diet. I had the proteinator which was enough to fill me up and was very flavorful. The hot sauce was not hot but I didn't expect it to be for Western PA. Overall a great experience with great food! read more

I ordered the tuscan panini and it was awesome, could not have asked and received a more perfectly looking and tasting panini. It exceeded my expectations 100% as i thought it was going to be a slapped together messy panini. However, was quite the opposite, perfect amount of all ingredients made it easy to eat props to the girl who made it i wish i would have caught her name to mention. I will be back to try other items on the menu as I am sure they are made with the same expectations. read more

Ordered here once and only once. To sum this place up? A knock off Panera. The food is mediocre at best. I couldn't even finish my small, expensive meal because it just wasn't that good. I had the stuffed pepper soup and it was very oily and just lacked flavor. The purrito bowl was bland and was watery? The only thing is that they do offer vegan and gluten free options and its a tad better than fast food. read more

Just went for a late lunch with my mother. Everything was so good! I got the Greek salad with chicken and she got the homemade tomato soup with grilled cheese. The salad was fresh and the dressing was homemade. I don't normally like tomato soup, but I liked theirs! We ended up sharing the sandwich because it was a generous portion. They have a small menu and most of their stuff doesn't appeal to me. And believe me it's just me. I always order the tuna poke bowl. It's a perfect combo of everything. The dressing or sauce is just right and the tuna is seared nicely but not too much. So so very good. I could eat it a couple times a week and it's all healthy but still delicious. LOL. I can't stop eating here! They have some of the best (and most fresh) food in town! The staff & owner are awesome and always cheery. The only problem I have is that there are so many good things on the menu I can never decide what to get. If you get the default on any menu item they are stacked with filling, fresh ingredients that make you feel great afterwards rather than that 1:30p drag. The breakfast is great and usually they aren't very busy then so it's the best time to stop in. Lunch can get busy but it's well worth the wait (which is still better than a lot of places at lunch time). Give this place a try if you haven't already or are new to town. They're located at the end of the plaza with Martin's. It's a little place so don't miss it! read more

Established in 2018.

The seed that would eventually become Presko was planted in the early 90's when owner Megan was a child. She was utterly captivated by Julia Child on public television. Over the years her passion for cooking and food blossomed, but never became a career. After 10 years working as a chemical engineer, Megan finally decided it was time for a change and in 2016 began planning a restaurant. In 2018 the dream became a reality when Presko finally opened its doors.

As we were finishing our drinks we remarked to each other that it was Tuesday and there was Noone here. The manager said if we continued to make comments he was going to ask us to leave. We were talking to each other and he chose to sit nearby. I have never been in such a hostile environment in a restaurant as that place. Needless to say we are not going back and if I could I would send him a check and explain why he is in the wrong business. But he would argue about that too. Have a good day all but don't waste your money there unless you like burnt sprouts.

Presko is sooooooo good. The food is super fresh and healthy. They have a few good vegan or vegetarian options but also some great meat lover meals too. They've got the trendy keto diet options and the best smoothies in the area by far. It's certainly food you won't be used to if you've only eaten around here. As someone that moved from the foodie cities of Pittsburgh & Austin, TX, it has been a delight to have this high quality food in DuBois. The prices are super reasonable considering what it probably costs to make these meals. Not to mention the people that work here are amazing. read more

As someone who has rather strict dietary requirements, I visited Presko as I have heard they do gluten free items. Jeff, the chef, listened to what I count NOT have and then made a menu recommendation with adjustments just for me. I ended up with the Pork Purrito on a bed of rice with a really nice side salad with small pieces of Avocado. To drink the pineapple refresher smoothie (made with coconut milk, just for me). It was AWSOME! I will definitely be eating there more often!!! Spotlessly clean and super friendly. read more

New restaurant that opened in late Feb 2018. I ate there 2x and absolutely loved it! The breakfast paninis are awesome! I had a Kitchen Sink salad for supper and it was fresh and tasted great. The staff are extremely friendly and easy to talk to (the owner is also the chef!). Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat that is freshly made and tastes great! Its awesome!!! Fresh delicious and made with love! My husband and I were there for breakfast. I got the Megan and he got a breakfast bowl and we were not disappointed. It was a better version of Panera bread. The coffee was even good. We both split a bah nan na after our breakfast and well let's just say.....it felt like my birthday! I will definitely be going back!! We are a very lucky town to have Presko!! read more

So since I found this gem...just happened to see it when I went into Martin's, I have been here at least 1-2 times a week! It's amazing for breakfast or lunch! Everything is super fresh, you feel full but not guilty, in fact like you just had an amazing, healthy meal. The prices for what amazing produce and quality is right on point.
